A 50cc 2 stroke, especially of a reputable brand and model such as this, should be able to reach 70mph with moderate tuning, with about 10bhp or so. If it only does under 50mph then its severely restricted. If you get an exhaust pipe for it with larger downpipe and widen the exhaust port it can add like 25 to 50 percemt more power over stock, typically. Also the carb is probably small, like 10 to 15mm, shud upgrade to 20mm plus n jet it well. Modify airbox so it has holes to let air rush in, tune it justg right one hole at a time to test so u dont overdo it.
I found an 88 ysr that's been sitting for years, not running but turns over, missing exhaust, battery and someone painted it.. He's asking 500 but could get him down I'm sure.. Think it's worth it?
Be careful with those oil injected bikes, or anything oil injected because the injection is known to fail quite often. I had several jet skis fail and I just removed the oil injection system and mixed gas instead . Much safer bra.

I had a tzr 50 done 100kmph on the flat and 115-120 kmph downhill never missed a beat .. Had two years 7k kilometers put on it
