Even though I know my dad's gonna teach me when I eventually get one, this was a great video. You happen to know anything about handhears on 50cc's, some classics have them.
This dude never even replied.. Wow
Considering I get my cbt done in 11 days and I get my bike In 5 this is really helpful to practice going up and down on a private back road. Thank you lad, very helpful
got mine in 5 and i cant wait
Cock and ball Torture
Thank you I'm getting one for Christmas
Lucky
I feel so much more confident after watching this video, about to pick up a 86 Yamaha DT65 its my first bike. Never ridden geared but I'm sure I'll be fine. Thanks for the tutorial, gonna take your advice and watch more
How did it go lad
@@elhad9453 Got soaked in cold rain Pulled over twice in 2 hours, arrested on suspicion of riding a stolen vehicle with intent to commit crime and possession of a weapon (searched and released) hit a top speed of 50 hugging the tank and all in all loved every second of the 4 days it was running 🙌🏽✨ Broke down in Brentford and walked it 12 miles home, can’t wait to get it fixed and get riding again 😎
@@dj_ees ahhahaha what an experience, i’m getting mine fixed tomorrow and i’m looking foward to finally beinh able to ride it. Hope i get an as exciting experience as you had
Really helpful thank you man!
Glad it helped!
Thanks man! I'm getting Derbi Senda this month and i needed to learn how to chnge the gears on it. Again, thank you and have a nice day!
So. A year later here I am, riding a 50/70 Rieju Mrt still very thankfull to you
He aint saying nothing about engine braking
I'm real late here, but about to get 50cc for myself as I want to get into motorbikes. But I think I wanna start with 50cc as my car license allows it and I have never rode motorbikes before. Then can complete A2 license with more confidence later on. Thanks for the great tutorial :D
Just bought a mrt and in new to gear bike this video really helped me out thanks
Omg you made me so much comfortable before I will get my 50cc that I will take home in 10 days
I'm gonna buy a bike in april! I can't wait!!
What bike?
@@clipsnsh1t435 Thinking of Aprilia SX 50
@@mezmaniaa I actually have one too(profile pic) and its pretty good. What year are you thinking?
@@clipsnsh1t435 Any year honestly
@@mezmaniaa well under 06 are am6 piece of shits. 06-14 are godlike rabasas(D50B). And beyond that theyre euro4. I own a 2010 rabasa aprilia and very easy to tune, due to breaking down, parts are cheap.
thanks bro i’m thinking about buying a first bike and i’ll go with something like this
Check out my latest video
lol first clear video thanks mate!
I recommend ro stiff up the gass so you don't get so tired by turning the gass up and down.
Really helpful with helping me with my gears thank you for posting this video
Broo, just got myself a rieju mrt 50 for my birthday, and i just checked this video now its easy to learn gears, and now i know which problems i shouldnt do. Ty bro!
I’m getting a bike soon and eyeing up a reiju mrt 50. Is it worth it and are they good bikes
@@dylanjon35 Yeah, they are definetly worth it, its cheap, qnd compact. I can get the maximum of 80 km/h without limiters, so i think its worth it.
For people who are wondering it’s a Rieju MRT 50 Trophy
thank you man! i will use all that i learned in this video
Do NOT let off the gas without pulling in the clutch on two strokes. It will cause damage to the cylinder and piston as the rpm:s don't go down and the piston and cylinder aren't getting as much lubrication
Aka motor braking
This is really true it destroys the engine on two strokes if you don’t pull the clutch when you let off gas
So when slowing down use clutch?
@@sobb3ri67 absolutely
I don’t quite understand, so when I want to gear up or down. Should I still hold the gas a little when I’m clutching?
Awesome videos man! some great tips in here.
Cool tutorial, although I know all of this since I own a 50 cm³ myself, this was still very nice to watch, everything neatly explained.
May I know the name of this bike?
Rieju mrt
Rieju mrt 50 trophy edition
Its £4200
Check out my latest video
@@ceec2999 nah they are more like 2800 or 3000 never seen one for over £4000
@@joshuasquires8161 they are about £4000 I have the same bike
Thanks bro this was really helpful!
thanks now i know how to ride a motorbike
definitely would give you a kiss irl if i could to just thank you
i'm 15 and will buy 50cc bike but i dont know what kinda i want that hits over 70km/h and want no problems on the road. (In my country you need to be 15 years old to drive 50cc )
like 5th time watching this video, first 2 times when I had no clue how even the motorbike worked, then 1 time before my practical exam, and now a couple of days away from getting the bike and watching it again....
Hope it all went ok 👍
I'm gonna buy my first geared motorcycle this week, only had an automatic scooter until now. This video was very helpful!
@Kyleyy17 still picking one out, stupid euro 5 norm
I'm currently learning on a 600cc bike. Gear's are the same and clutch is the same. I don't get what's the difference. If I let the clutch out instantly it will also stall even if I get it rolling a bit with the feet. It can go with a clutch only, but you still have to feather it. Also, it will probably need to go to 5k rpm to be able to lift the front and loop it out.
Great video man
Appreciate it
Nice vid ! A lot of good tips and stuff I didn't know (was not told in other videos)
Thank you so much for this video. Watching this video you sound like a TH-cam who has several hundred thousand subs .
I remember when i got my aprilia sx50 supermoto. I had no previous riding experience but i learned fast. Also my 50cc goes about 90km/h so yeah...
Really? im bout to turn 14 and i was looking at aprilia sx50s 50cc aswell. In ky country at 14 you can start to ride 50cc or lower so i think this would be great and also how did you make it that fast?
@@matiissgrislis5174 its really not even that fast, cuz the engine is loose as hell. Gonna have to replace my piston and piston ring. But anyways 50cc airsal sport aluminium, metrakit thrower exhaust, (gonna switch to voca warrior), unrestricted cdi and 13 53 gear rations
Question - So i've driven a car with a manual, with this you can instantly shift down gears from lets say 4th all the way down to 2nd / 1st - in one motion - as long as you're pushing down the clutch; Does this work the same with a geared motorcycle or do you have to switch gear, release it, let it go into its gear, then repeat / continue the motion? (Downshifting in question)
it's just like in a car, you can skip gears if you keep the clutch presses
But motorcycle rear wheel has to roll
Your bike looks insanely sick
Thanks my G really help full
Really helpful man cheers
my first motorbike was a samurai 125cc when i was 10 years old
What sort of bike is that looking for a supermoto or something fast for when I’m 16.
Rieju trophy 2.0 but it’s basically the same as the rieju mrt 50 it’s just the racing edition but it doesn’t make much difference
Thanks pal really helped a lot 👍😎
No problem 👍
Isaac Blue just bought my first 50cc pal not geared rev and go but watched this video to teach me how to ride one really helped thanks
Why do you engine brake with 2 stroke??
I was thinking the same thing
You don't
The engine only gets lubrication with oil when you give throttle
It's on 4 stroke too it's because high RPM
@@RexFixx you can engine brake with a four stroke as long as you revmatch
I am about to turn 16 and I want to get a 50cc supermoto but I'm not sure because I read the uk goverment laws about motor vehicles and it said mopeds under 50cc
i just bought 50cc aprilia sx and its enough power. it has tecnigas enox exhaust, polini cp21 carb and some sport air filter. from low rpm its slow but one it hit powerband its soo fast. I keep stalling :(
Sick video 💯💯🤘
Big up
My derbi is 86cc and has 27hp
Suomi intesifies
I still dont get it.. why glutch? And when to go from 2 to 3 for example?
i have 50cc bike super moto geared its so good for begginers i like it btw i am 13 years old and i have dirt bike too 350cc
Thank you so much
Cheers man
My friend and I want to buy a similar motorcycle. We need a motorbike to the cottage for commuting to the pub. Do you think that the motorcycle will take us in two? Thank you for answer.
With 2 people on the bike ?
@@Isaacblue That's why I ask if it's possible
Helpful, but cut the music so we can hear the bike.
What bike ?
Anyone know what bike this is, I’m 15 but I want to start looking at what kind of bike I want so when the time comes I know what I’m getting. So if anyone knows what it’s called pls reply to my comment. Thanks 👍🏼
Rieju trophy 2.0 it is the same as the rieju mrt 50 pro it’s just the “racing version” there’s no difference between the two I just think the trophy looks nicer and has a few better components
hey man i got a rieju a month ago they don't have a petrol gauge so they,
What mirror is that lad?
Can you teach about, cornering, what to do ant not do?
My sherco smr50 Boggs down and can only go about 8 mph up hills and it’s meant to do more up hills does anyone know why or any tips for hills ?
Maybe your carburettor needs to be adjusted or cleaned
Where u buy them from i need one of thoes NO CAP
just search up "derbi senda" or "aprilia sx 50" or "beta rr 50"
I’ve got that exact bike but In blue, where do u ride?
Bedfordshire but for legal reasons let’s say Mexico 😂
@@Isaacblue that’s too good 😂😂😂
me too man
great video!
I never knew these existed
If I leave it into 1st gear with no throttle it goes into like 10 kph is that normal?
Would a senda be any good for me if im a bit older? 5'10" and 80kg.
When are you supposed to gear down, and how do you gear down?
What bike is this? Really like it
still dont understand how to shift down properly for engine brake to not happen
If I start whit my Sherco and I give a little bit of gas and my clutch slowly than it turn of
I have known how to ride any bike since i was 9 but i wanna see just driving
what is the top speed on your 50cc
Hi, what mods did you do if you did any ?
Is it worth getting 80cc supermoto (generic trigger) as a first bike?:)
Is there any good 50cc road legal pit bikes/supermotos you can buy for less than 1k ?
You will have to look at used ones if you want one for that cheap.
What bike is that?I love it
Do u can shift own while pushing the brake ???
What bike are you riding?
What bike is it
Rieju mrt if im not wrong
Please what are the tyre sizes and how many hp?
Check out my latest video
And 17 and not a lot of hp 😂
When you switch to gear 2 do u go up twice?
what would the age requirement be for this-?
How do You know is neutral or other gear?
Good video
Glad you enjoyed
Bro whats the name of your bike
Just a question, is this legal to ride at 16 once you have done your CBT..... I was under the impression that we had to have a 50cc moped
It can be any 50cc my bike technically counts as a moped even know it looks like a “real geared bike”, you can ride any 50cc on a cbt at 16 as long as it’s road registered and everything
@@Isaacblue what’s this bike called
So do u pull in clutch, let go off gas and kick up the lever or do you let go off gas -> pull in clutch -> kick up the lever
If your changing gear, let of the gas - pull in the clutch change gear then let out the clutch lever with some gas it’s all a very quick motion in the space of about 1 second
@@Isaacblue clear, thanks man! riding a kx125 this weekend
Can you buy this on any bike shops??
Where did you get your bike
I've heard that after u go into first u don't need to use the clutch

@@tiesfielemon1126 so if I get a quick shifter on my bike no clutch thx
Where did you get the wing mirror from mate?
What is the bikes name in the video??
yo im gonna buy a derbi senda 50r is it good for a first geared bike 2004
Did you derestrict you bike?
What is that bike called and how much is it?
Whats the top speed? And do you recommend it.
Most 2 stroke 50cc's have a top speed of about 52-54kmh on a flat road in the highest gear, that is if it's not modified.
2 stroke 50 cm³ motorbikes usually don't pull much more than 50 km/h (30 mp/h) if not modified, exceptions do happen though. I highly recommend them myself - they are perfect as a first bike for a young person, and a lot of fun; also a lot cheaper than bigger bikes.
mine gets 50mph nice with no mods
Check out my latest video
50mph unrestricted, mine goes 70 tho
Nice bud...
Hey! CPI SM 50 for a starter bike is good?
How fast does a 50 cc go?
Depends
@@ServeraServera0depends on what?
@@darijanradonjic2814 In a lot of things...
Carburator size, restricted or derestricted, geared or scooter, gearing ratio, the fucking air... You know, a lot of things
What bike is that?
thinking of getting a lexmoto Hunter 50cc, never road geared bike before, it’s a 4 stroke. Do you think good bike to learn ?
I wouldn’t recommend getting a 4 stroke 50cc as there no power or top speed, I have a friend who has a lexmoto hunter and they wish that went for a 2 stroke 50 also I didn’t know have to ride before I got mine you’ll get the hang of it it took me like an hour or so then I was good
How tall do u have to be to ride this bike ?
from 5,4 to 6,5
When should you shift gears? Like at what point should you shift?
high rpms when the bike doesnt accelerate as quickly anymore
@@whazzpoppin8568 Oh ok thank you 😊
Thanks, very helpful, but i still don’t get it for the gear shift
I am 15, at what age can i ride this baby?
I ride 125cc moped for years and i just got 14y im too illehal lol
Lmao
@@LukaPOfficiel depends on where you live
What bike u got ?
Don’t engine brake on a 2 stroke. The lube comes with the fuel.
Back then I was running it rich so the lube helped with the ring wear but yes now I don’t engine brake just for your knowledge 😂😂
@@Isaacblue then what do you do if you’re not engine braking? Do you just let it off the gaz slower?
A couple of questions mate if that's ok ,tell me about the two-stroke stuff, how does that work, and how often do you add oil, also what is the average top speed ,if for instance i want to go for a fun ride out and do say 30 or 40 miles in one go,is that ok , or should i be looking at the 125 ccs,
I know that u dont add oil like on frequency, u just mix 20 ml of oil for 1 l of gasoline on the 2 stroke ones, the 4 stroke has a oil bay and does the mix on it s own i think, the top speed is 100 km h for a 2 stroke one, mine with a 80 cc ‘set’ goes at 115 km h
@@kugo6085 4 strokes don't mix oil and gas and most 2 strokes have It's own deposit that mixes oil on the go
It's only prefered to mix it directly on the deposit and don't let the bike do it on It's own for reliability
