Thank you, Dan! Every other video I watched, showed spraying soapy water on the outside, making too much of a mess in my situation (small house, dead of winter}.
Watched like 4 videos and was having no luck finding the hole. Watched yours, added some water in the mattress and found it within minutes by tilting my air mattress in different directions. Thank you so much!!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏
@@TheSnatchbuckler Hi Anthony, I remember having a built in air pump quite a few years ago and remember getting some soap and water in but I always leave the water in for future holes. I would always keep the water at the back when deflating to make sure nothing comes out. When i was worried about leakage would seal in a bag. If your going to leave the water in just use a couple of liters, it is a little harder to find the hole but doable. Thanks for your comment Dan
@@maddyroberts6624 no I am too nervous that it might mess up the pump if water were to flow back into it, and I don't really think there'd be a way to ever get all the water out. Ended up using a spray bottle with baby shampoo and water.

Thanks friend, you saved me with that trick I was able to find the Hole, Thank you
Great advice! Worked like a charm. Thanks so much.
Glad it helped!
Reverse engineering! Nice.
Great information!
I've heard about the mold risk from blowing up your pad with your moist breath but this is 1 million times as much moisture. How do you dry it out??!
I will try, but 1 question Yah how do you dry or drain it out?
Here's another tip. if you don't like the noise from the air mattress rubbing. Wrap it in a blanket!!! Plus this will help regulate temperature.
Would this work on a mattress with a built-in pump? And how would you go about draining it?

@@TheSnatchbuckler Did you put water in the built in air pump? Did that work ok?

Ty. 2 ideas now, before I find.
You da man Dan!
I have a an expensive bed... My side has a hole.... That I can't find...! I'm gonna try this so stay tuned mister
Would this technique work on an air mattress that has an embedded air pump?
yes it will pumps are DC so no issues i have done it myself in the past.
The hissing in the middle of the night might be a snake too so be careful.
