I can guarantee all these videos the mattress leaks eventually with any real weight rolling around on it for a night or 2 of course tape will stop leaks until the pressure finds a way through a channel where the tapes glue fails
Well, nothing is permanent. Even if you buy a new matress, it's enevitable it will spring a leak somewhere. At least we have methods that can get us through the night.
This doesn't work. I tried flex tape just now. On a inch hole and it didn't work. Im soooo pissed off i give up all hope. Its impossible to fix a airbed. Impossible.
And you sealed it from both inside and outside? Hmmm. Well, sometimes you just may need a new air mattress.
@@TSGEnt i spent 13.00 on that tape. And its all gone. They dont even give you alot.
A hole in my air mattress and the hole is in the sing
Flex Tape is still holding! Looks like it'll work no matter where the hole is.
It didn't take it no time to cure when it stuck to your finger. It was almost as quick as those glue boards that catch mice and spiders and other creepy crawlers.
It is very sticky. The warnings say not to put on something you may want to remove from later.
Get a humane trap. Glue traps are horrifying.
I just got a hole on the seam I see others had the same problem…
A hole in the seam is a nasty one. Use a similar technique. Open that hole a bit to put FlexTape on the inside as well as the outside. Be patient and take your time.
We've had this fix for a couple years and a bunch of use, and it's still holding!
FlexTape is available here: www.shootinguy.com/flexseal Here's the first Flex Tape Mattress video: th-cam.com/video/grdr3HD4_g4/w-d-xo.html
You can get Flex Tape and the air mattress here: amzn.to/3bv9uNK and amzn.to/2HbbxIW
Good luck to you!
This do not work I wasted my time and money now instead of a slow leak my mattress inflates In minutes
Bummer. What exactly did you do?
666? read KJV Holy Bible Revelation 13 it was also in King Gold Read KJV
the number 666 is known to be number of man.
What a sodding waste of money, time and a whole bunch of anger. The flex seal tape absolutely does NOT repair an air mattress. The air still leaks through on the sides(yes, I cut it in a circle) I’m about to throw this out the window. I already contacted flex seal about how false advertising is illegal. What a waste of money. No air mattress, I’ll save my money for a decent couch. One that won’t have to be “repaired” with tape; which fails.
Sorry yours didn't work out. My repair is still holding, but everybody's experience may be different.
those air mattresses always leak in the seem at the fuzzy side
I'm beginning to feel it's a planned obsolescence.
