Stop telling men everything you are looking for in a man. Reason, he will put on a show and act like he is at your standards when in reality he is manipulating you into thinking he is the man you're looking for. Once he has you hooked, he will drop you like a hot cake.

A married man told me he was single. I found out he was married later on my own. Why did he lie to? He wanted me to have no issue sleeping with him. I could care less about his pain when I have pain of my own: Men trying to use me for sex. I am no man's therapist. That is a job I don't want.

I know those kinds to, but I had an ex husband who I knew who drank but would lie about drinking, hide his 211 behind our daughters bed, under sink. The alcohol was coming out of his pores. Again lying for no reason to convince yourself.

Especially one willing to have a romantic relationship with you knowing he is still married. If anything he should have divorced his wife 1st, then started back courting. My friends always say we call to vent to Tiffany because she listens and have great feedback. Even in dating, males have said dang i talk too much with you and i say nooo tell me more please. I let the men do most of the talking and I listen and HEAR exactly what they are saying, which has saved me from going into some very bad relationships and also getting out of a few after a short while. I will continue to let the man talk and I listen, this will be a great way to find out his true intentions and also to learn about him. I also watch to see if his actions match his words.
Thank you, Tony. I’m heading to the Himalayas to become a monk. This is soooo messed up. I don’t have the time for the games and someone to deal with their issues. In their 20s, is acceptable. What about a man 35, 40 or 50? I used to wonder why a lot of older women used to say they want to be by themselves. Now, I see. I think I’m getting to that point...

You are speaking the truth. I'm currently dealing with a man that has deal with a lot in his life, and its soooo hard to understand him ALOT since I been with him. He is a hard worker, but after the work is over, he tend to forget the importance that surrounds or in his life. He drinks ALOT, not compassionate at all its like I have to be the one getting affectionate & its getting old. He said he been hurt in his past with woman, but I'm not them & I let him know that several times. I'm getting to the point where I'm tired of trying. I'm a good women with a good heart.. I deserve BETTER..

Wow that is exactly what happened to me. You at soooooo on point. I'm so glad to have a real mans perspective now cause my friends dont know what they're talking about, lol. I've never been a big talker. When he realized I wasnt putting up with his crap and I left him, he woke up and I only started to listen more to see where he is really coming from. He opened up more and things changed for the better and I learned a lot more about him. We have a real friendship now. Ladies you will know if a man really cares for you. It''s just within us to know and we dont even realize it. Just really watch the signs!

Regina Conner I saw a post on the page The Holistic Psychologist about how when we are quick to give advice rather than sit in silent support we are acting out in ego. When I’m getting to know people I want to say too much. It’s like I want to be sure I’m heard/noticed 🤷🏻♀️ definitely something to work on

my Ex lied about almost everything...
- He lied about his age,
- He lied about him temporarily living with his parents because his dad was sick while He actually never moved out of his parents’ house at 35+,
- He lied about being a man of Integrity while he cheated on almost all of his exes (Me included, and even got that woman he cheated on Me with pregnant),
- He lied to the woman he was cheating on me with that he can’t break up with Me because I’m his boss’ daughter and he will loose his job if ever try to leave me,
- He lied about wanting to start a business so that he can secure a good future for us and our future kids, while the whole time He was trying to get me to invest my parents’ money, but got frustrated with Me because I was too smart and difficult to convince (according to his pastor and his ex)...
Anytime that I am out with a man, I just ask questions. I volunteer little or no information about myself or what I want in a man. I realized long ago that they are liars. I just let them talk, talk and talk. Plus they love talking about themselves. I don't know why or how we ladies put up with them. It is all so draining.

As a wife of 13+ years, it is definitely a turn on when a man can fix things or build things around the house as opposed to having to call someone else and pay them to fix it. But you are right that no one is perfect and we all do the best that we can.

I agree that women shouldn’t expect for people to be honest and well intentioned by default, it’s not practical - in business it’s you, your desires and instinct.
That was my mistake.
I spent so many years working on and refining myself - therapy, books, spiritually, audio books 8-10 hours a day (just like you) while I was building my business out of my kitchen.
At some point my default (trauma based) view of life changed, I became more heart centered and deeply authentic. Somewhere along the way I just started to assume that everybody was that way.
You get to a space where you are so healed, you “Become Love” (I Love that BTW) loving of everyone and everything that you want nothing more than to contribute to Humanity in a positive way.
I went into corporate Tech with this line of thinking and logic - it made me a great leader and I advanced quickly right to the top without trying. We ended up build the fastest growing Unicorn in Silicon Valley history ....in 18 months.
I found out the hard way that my view of life and people....I had to keep myself isolated, most people, especially pathological traumatized men are absolutely NOT about connection or growth.
They are anti social and anti Life.
Vet all men with callous ruthlessness - that’s my advice.
I relate so much!! I healed and become so pure that it only effed me over because I assumed everyone else was like that too. Why wouldn’t they be? Now I am healing from being tossed and turned around by people. I will heal and be love again but I will have the strictest boundaries and non naive outlook ever again

Tony is 1000% correct especially the point about listening. I have done that in every relationship and men tell me that they love how attentive, open minded and a good listener I am. They feel safe to express themselves without judgement but the downside is...when I'm ready to walk away they have a hard time letting me go because they've never had that type of interaction with other women so they hold on for dear life making promises to change 🤦🏽♀️

@@Nekole1 They do not, these are all long term relationships to include a 10 year marriage but in order to provide an example of how applicable Tony's message is in my life, I provided a synopsis. The point is, when I walk away from the relationship they always want to remain friends because I allowed them to express themselves and they've never experienced that with other women which validates Tony's point.
Be blessed. It takes a healed woman to bring the best out of a man. As women we complain about no good men but fail to look at ourselves and realize that we just may be a no good woman. My bestest friend from JHS til this day, her boyfriend at the time called me inviting me to dinner of course I wondered what happened he said they were not together anymore, well I called her asked her how did her man get my number I told her what he said. Well she said keep the date and we both showed up at his front door, well the lying back stabbing sob was choked for words.

Hopefully, it was a wake-up call to him and helped him in some way. I believe she said they were both in junior high school. Maybe she would handle it differently now but I think it was an excellent strategy regardless of grade level. I'm glad they did it.
