I wish more men felt this way. Sometimes they don't realize that the lie(s) is so much more deeper than what they are trying to get or cover up. You ruin your trust with that person and possibly with others.
My husband lied to me before I got married about who he is. Now I'm dealing with all the consequences because our values are so different when I thought we were on the same page.
That happened to me too. He pretended to have high functioning autism to cover for his behavior. If I hadn’t have left I would still be suffering health issues and there’s no doubt in my mind I wouldn’t have lived much longer. If he lied about who he is your contract is null and void because you entered it with someone who doesn’t exist. You don’t have to pay the price for something that’s away been paid if you know what I’m talking about. Please take care of yourself.
I cannot stand when someone constantly lies just to make themselves look good or to make you feel bad,or to hide things from you that'll hurt you. It's very low. I rather be with someone who is honest with me then telling me lies all the time.

Great explanation Stephan! Some people want to be technical and say they don’t lie because instead of telling an outright lie, they lie by omission. Like that’s better. Then they think they can’t be labeled a liar. But telling half truths is just as bad! It’s misleading.
Sooo sneaky/insidious/damaging to the person betrayed by lies. They see it as totally permissible bc "it wasn't a lie" technically. (Re : omission)... Also a big elephant in the room for me was/is the unspoken "don't ask / don't tell clause" that stunted all my past romantic relationships. I believe they know we have intimacy issues and if you're anything like me its second nature to me. As I get older and learn to communicate better I see so much poor communication in all areas of my relationships on both sides. I didn't want to push anyone away with questions, even basic ones that should have been asked. Its tough to find out there were some dealbreakers early on but figured it out decades later sometimes. Uggghhh.....I wish someone told me this stuff as a teen.

They share similar behaviors..like you said, the don’t ask dont tell guys don’t want us to know too much about them because they are hiding something. They are secretive but label themselves as “private”. An honest guy will have no problem offering up information that is important for us to know. Liars are always in lawyer defense mode. It’s so obvious.we will get the answers we need when we listen to our intuition..
This came at the perfect time. It also applies to fathers who lie to their children instead of just being honest in the first place. Something me and my children have struggled with and I feel like I have had to explain why their father continues to lie to them.
You are absolutely right on all accounts. My intuition told me this man was lying to me from left and right and I said to him this is what I feel and I ask that he not involve me in any drama cuz right now I live a drama free life. Needless to say he never told me truth but ghosted me AFTER he got what he wanted. I'm angry with myself because I knew he was lying and I still pushed forward. Trust I will not be fooled again.

The immaturity is part of it but not all. For guys we all compete over the same women, guys being in all age groups and status. As a young guy typically all you have to impress with is flexing your body , since there's little to no status in society. Fastest way to even the playing feild is to pretend be someone your not. It works on young women, Also being the target audience, so it kinda grows out of control I know being honest sounds good, but it comes at a cost, of removing filters and being less politically correct. Someone that has strong options about religion and politics and is unapologetic, tends to be more honest especially if the views are unpopular. This I would say is a good test to verify honesty since, that level of brute honesty means most dislike you, and no favors are done to please... by lying Especially since there's no gain from lying and knowing it brings dislike with most likely not getting your way lol. Kinda edgy, but try talking about politics and religion immediately, how someone filters themselves will show you to what degree they are willing to conceal to keep favor by not showing all the cards. That degree is to which how much truth they are willing to show you

When in reality emotional mature was an issue and also me not being clear about my boundaries and what I needed from my partners in the past. Sometimes they lie because their use for the woman is short-term and they don't want the truth to hinder what they are trying to acquire. By the time truth is revealed, it wont matter to him because he had planned to already have moved on. I'm hurting so bad by a lie that my boyfriend told me" and even though it is not a major lie a lie is still a lie. We both agreed that we would not have friends while we were dating. I found out he has been talking to a woman from his job he lied to me and told me that she was an older lady in her 60s. he told me that lie with a straight face. I'm thinking to myself well she's an old lady so ill let him have an older friend. I recently found out because I looked through his phone that this woman is not old he was talking to her but the things that he was saying I did not agree with he tried to justify it and say he was trying to help her because she's been having problems with attracting the wrong men but that is not his place to save a broken woman he is not a therapist. So to make a long story short I still feel betrayed he still lied to me. I told him to cut off all Communications with this lady he told me he would and he apologized but something still isn't right the feeling that I have towards him is I don't want to let this go he betrayed my trust. Plus his perspective on friendships is so double standard he doesn't want me to have guy friends but he's trying to make friends with a female that is not right.

I like your book title. I just started writing a book to my younger self and it's not as ... NICE ... ha ha ha ... and I agree with the reasons for why PEOPLE lie ... However, I have a cousin who can't shake women off and he tells them exactly what he wants. They either don't believe him, think they can change him, or they really want to see if he's telling them the truth, then cry & fuss about the outcome when he was open and honest & up front about it. Everybody lies and the lie could be for certain reasons we shouldn't lie but we just do as humans. I raised 3 young black men as a widow and most of their friends as well. I listened to them from a young age until now in their late 20s early 30s. My sons are virgins waiting for God to send them their wives because they know if they seek First the Kingdom of God then He will do what He promises. God does not lie thank and Praise Jesus for that truth. If we do not have God's Holy Spirit inside we cannot do what is right. The sad thing is we do not walk in His Spirit often we mostly walk (as looking at the world today) many walks in the flesh. No one seeks God so we will lie at any minute. If we are honest with ourselves we do not have to lie we just lie to lie most of the time. Some of the lies they told these women I understood why they were told. Women tend to be desperate which I do get at a certain age but desperation is not necessary. These women force these young men to want to be in a relationship when evidently these young men do not want these women. They know what they want and these men are waiting for their specific time. Women make men nervous by their desperation and this scares the man off. Since raising my sons this has given me a different way I see men. Many women are missing out on some great men due to their lies and unnecessary acts of desperation. I have studied people and relationships for over 40 years and nothing has changed same games get people left alone. I watch women interact with my sons and their friends and these women say and do things that are not necessary just to lie to these men to be noticed. People will lie this is our nature we cannot help but lie to avoid confrontation. No one wants to argue so they lie. No one wants to be judged so they lie. No one wants to be without money so they lie. No one wants to be alone so they lie. I know you are trying to help these people with your videos and books. I do seminars with the same people having the same problems waisting time and money not changing anything. If they do not practice the advice given they will not succeed and will keep being rejected and in misery. If you want to heal you must do the work to get healed nothing is easy but it's worth it after the work is done. As the bible says let the ignorant be ignorant. I used to be frustrated when they did not listen come to find out most people love their misery and do not want to change they just want to stay miserable. Exactly 💯 on point. The HS saved me from a dishonest person recently, that flagged me down at church with intention of wanting my help as he was struggling with forgiveness. I wasn’t even looking. Long story short. The Hs came & gave me the truth about this man. I showed him no interest or time. Never saw him at church again. The other day he called me by accident and I listened (for 15min ppl) to the conversation he was having with his friend after a married lady tried to hit on his also married friend😐 He had no idea i was listening. They got in the car and drove away talking about how that married woman tried to hit on them but they wanted to remain faithful to us (the teasing eachother guy way of talking) And then he looked at his phone and realized i was there for 15min listening to that conversation. My husband is black... but i think at that moment he went white. He said a very nervous "hello!?!?" To see if i was there and I said... Who was that woman you and Ronald were talking too??? Tell me the truth because if been listening for 15min. Lol inside i was laughing. Trust God. If you believe for God to look after your relationship he will. So now my husband is on his toes about what he does when no one is watching. Because truth is... we are all being watched. So you don't need to worry about it. The truth will always come out.
My husband has lied to me about not having children. I found out by accident from his estranged sister that he has 3 kids from previous relationships. When I confronted him about it, he tried to lie about it again. I am done, I want to divorce and leave. He has lied to me for the past 5 years and I now caught him. I am done.

(Nope, still married - saw it on your background check) -Fake last name -I’m adopted -Fake birthday -I have no friends -My parents are weird. That’s why you haven’t met them yet. -I live with a roommate. (Yep you sure do - your wife) -I’m filing for divorce… (10 months later you’re still married) The list goes on… THE PART THAT HURTS THE MOST IS FALLING FOR SOMEONE THAT DECEIVED YOU… AND YOU DON’T KNOW TIL YOU’RE IN TOO DEEP.
What about men who do the opposite? Example, tell you the truth or part truth regarding a situation you may or may not know about and expect you to not get upset because they either tell you what they have done, what they are doing, or contemplating to do.

Great explanation Stephan! Some people want to be technical and say they don’t lie because instead of telling an outright lie, they lie by omission. Like that’s better. Then they think they can’t be labeled a liar. But telling half truths is just as bad! It’s misleading.
Sooo sneaky/insidious/damaging to the person betrayed by lies. They see it as totally permissible bc "it wasn't a lie" technically. (Re : omission)... Also a big elephant in the room for me was/is the unspoken "don't ask / don't tell clause" that stunted all my past romantic relationships. They share similar behaviors..like you said, the don’t ask dont tell guys don’t want us to know too much about them because they are hiding something. They are secretive but label themselves as “private”. An honest guy will have no problem offering up information that is important for us to know. Liars are always in lawyer defense mode. It’s so obvious.we will get the answers we need when we listen to our intuition..

My intuition told me this man was lying to me from left and right and I said to him this is what I feel and I ask that he not involve me in any drama cuz right now I live a drama free life. Needless to say he never told me truth but ghosted me AFTER he got what he wanted.

For guys we all compete over the same women, guys being in all age groups and status.
As a young guy typically all you have to impress with is flexing your body , since there's little to no status in society.

Thank you Stephan for this. I love your ability to make information concise and direct. Alot of times I have given empathy and made excuses for my partners. When in reality emotional mature was an issue and also me not being clear about my boundaries and what I needed from my partners in the past. I give up. No more dating for me for a very, very long time. I refuse to take the blame for someone else's bad behavior. I take responsibility for my part for ignoring red flags, intuition, whatever we want to call it - but that doesn't take away their responsibility for their part. Sometimes they lie because their use for the woman is short-term and they don't want the truth to hinder what they are trying to acquire. By the time truth is revealed, it wont matter to him because he had planned to already have moved on. Selfish which is why women have to proceed with slow caution when choosing to interact with any man.

I'm hurting so bad by a lie that my boyfriend told me" and even though it is not a major lie a lie is still a lie. We both agreed that we would not have friends while we were dating. I found out he has been talking to a woman from his job he lied to me and told me that she was an older lady in her 60s. he told me that lie with a straight face. I'm thinking to myself well she's an old lady so ill let him have an older friend. I recently found out because I looked through his phone that this woman is not old he was talking to her but the things that he was saying I did not agree with he tried to justify it and say he was trying to help her because she's been having problems with attracting the wrong men but that is not his place to save a broken woman he is not a therapist. So to make a long story short I still feel betrayed he still lied to me. I told him to cut off all Communications with this lady he told me he would and he apologized but something still isn't right the feeling that I have towards him is I don't want to let this go he betrayed my trust. Plus his perspective on friendships is so double standard he doesn't want me to have guy friends but he's trying to make friends with a female that is not right.

However, I have a cousin who can't shake women off and he tells them exactly what he wants. Everybody lies and the lie could be for certain reasons we shouldn't lie but we just do as humans. I raised 3 young black men as a widow and most of their friends as well. I listened to them from a young age until now in their late 20s early 30s. My sons are virgins waiting for God to send them their wives because they know if they seek First the Kingdom of God then He will do what He promises. God does not lie thank and Praise Jesus for that truth.
If we do not have God's Holy Spirit inside we cannot do what is right. The sad thing is we do not walk in His Spirit often we mostly walk (as looking at the world today) many walks in the flesh. No one seeks God so we will lie at any minute. If we are honest with ourselves we do not have to lie we just lie to lie most of the time.
Some of the lies they told these women I understood why they were told. Women tend to be desperate which I do get at a certain age but desperation is not necessary. These women force these young men to want to be in a relationship when evidently these young men do not want these women. They know what they want and these men are waiting for their specific time. Women make men nervous by their desperation and this scares the man off. Since raising my sons this has given me a different way I see men. Many women are missing out on some great men due to their lies and unnecessary acts of desperation.
I have studied people and relationships for over 40 years and nothing has changed same games get people left alone. I watch women interact with my sons and their friends and these women say and do things that are not necessary just to lie to these men to be noticed.
People will lie this is our nature we cannot help but lie to avoid confrontation. No one wants to argue so they lie. No one wants to be judged so they lie. No one wants to be without money so they lie. No one wants to be alone so they lie. I know you are trying to help these people with your videos and books. I do seminars with the same people having the same problems waisting time and money not changing anything.
If they do not practice the advice given they will not succeed and will keep being rejected and in misery. If you want to heal you must do the work to get healed nothing is easy but it's worth it after the work is done. As the bible says let the ignorant be ignorant. I used to be frustrated when they did not listen come to find out most people love their misery and do not want to change they just want to stay miserable.

I tell my man I'm not looking for lies. God will soon give me a full report and that includes if he is really honest too. And I know God is showing him to be very atentive with his intentions. The other day he called me by accident and I listened (for 15min ppl) to the conversation he was having with his friend after a married lady tried to hit on his also married friend😐 He had no idea i was listening. They got in the car and drove away talking about how that married woman tried to hit on them but they wanted to remain faithful to us (the teasing eachother guy way of talking) And then he looked at his phone and realized i was there for 15min listening to that conversation. My husband is black... but i think at that moment he went white. He said a very nervous "hello!?!?" To see if i was there and I said... Who was that woman you and Ronald were talking too??? Tell me the truth because if been listening for 15min. Lol inside i was laughing.
Trust God. If you believe for God to look after your relationship he will. So now my husband is on his toes about what he does when no one is watching. Because truth is... we are all being watched. So you don't need to worry about it. The truth will always come out.

-Fake last name
-I’m adopted
-Fake birthday
-I have no friends
-My parents are weird. That’s why you haven’t met them yet.
-I live with a roommate. (Yep you sure do - your wife)
-I’m filing for divorce… (10 months later you’re still married)
