While I was ubering one night I picked up a a group of four from a wealthy area, heading to a social gathering. One woman, likely in her 20s, sat next to me in the front. I always keep a grocery bag for trash at the base of the passenger seat. When she sat down, she placed her jacket at her feet, which I found odd! This stuck in my mind throughout the trip until I dropped them off. About 30 seconds after they left, I went to toss an empty bottle into the trash bag, and that's when I realized why she placed her jacket there. She used her jacket to cover the bag, thinking it had groceries or merchandise. So, when she bent down to grab her jacket while leaving, she took the bag with her, concealing it with her jacket so I wouldn't see. I can only imagine her horror when she opened the bag and saw all of the trash inside. 😂 Thanks for taking out my garbage! 👍😊
I think some people steal to steal for the rush, and not out of necessity. I think it gives them excitement and a sense of power In their otherwise mundane lives.

Its not stupid to ask someone if they are lying, especially if its documented or recorded. That is something that could save your life if it was ever used in court. Also asking someone if they are lying and you know they are lying is a great way to judge character. Great video otherwise but no not a stupid question at all
yea, got into it with employee at work month ago ish. i leave out the drama part. short of it they did wrong, i caught them reported it, they lied out their ass. i had cameras for proof they got nailed. month+ later they tried to talk shit to me. asked me why i wouldnt talk to them. i straight up infront of their friends-family said. because ur a lying pos. you have no honor or integrity. 0 fs given for anyone but yourself. i then turned and walked off as i seen the horror in his eyes and anger. and the shock from all his friends family like wtf was that about. im sure he painted me out as some bad guy but whatever. 0 fs given. people are shit. there are good ones sure. but sadly more and more rare....

I read lot's of informational and educational documents, but sitting down with a book has just never been my forte. You speak so well and we all enjoy hearing you talk. Have you considered recoding an audiobook version of this that we could purchase from you? I'd love to hear you read your own words; the inflection a person is able to put on certain things really yields a better understanding of your take in respect to the internal voice I would be reading it through paper and ink.
This (though I also don't tend to listen to audiobooks either). Maybe you could record these stories on video (don't necessarily need the real footage for the riders' privacy or if you just don't have it anymore/can't easily fit it into the podcast) and make them in such a way where you can strip out the audio and make an audiobook as well? I think why your videos do so well is because you tell them and it's easy for people to digest. I know you poured your heart out into making it already and people asking for more could be potentially hurtful, but take this as in we want to hear more of what you have to say, but you saying it with your own voice, on camera. :)
I have an exceptionally large book collection. Ive read maybe 5% of them XD Most are either vintage collector type things or historical reference books tho

6:58 LOL I remember back in 2017, I woke up and decided I wanted to go to Florida for a couple weeks, so I was talking to my friend about it(I was leaving in 2 days so it was a rush job, unlike this trip in June to Cali, that I planned back in February), anyways that whole entire day, every time there was a commercial break on the TV, there was at least one commercial about Florida, whether it was orange juice or a “visit Florida” ad(oooh there were A LOT of them), I definitely felt like my TV was listening to me talking about my Florida plans. Well, Eddie, I agree with the end of your video where you said the girls were thinking what are you going to do about it. Isn't there a department within Uber that could look at your video proof of the girls stealing and take punitive action against the girl who paid for the ride. She should at least have her Uber account suspended as punishment.
My thoughts were along the same line. I guess they may not protect items you're selling. Maybe it's an, at your own risk, type of thing? I hope not. I would like to think they'd be charged on their cards, to prevent future acts like this one. They owe Eddie a lot!! He didn't take advantage of their age, or lack there of, he didn't bust them on YT by showing their faces, and he could of rolled back up, or done a million other things to retaliate, they could have really hurt them, or worse. My hope is that they at least learned a valuable lesson about not being shit humans, just because you can. I have a 2020 Chevy Bolt Premier with the Infotainment package. So I have 2 USB ports in the back. I bought 3-way chargers (micro-C-Lightning) and put them back there so riders could charge. They were black chargers. I just left them there, dangling on the floor. And one day, I parked my car and noticed they weren't there. I did look back through my dashcam videos but didn't see it. I have bought new chargers for the back. They are white ,(more noticable) and I drape them forward to the passenger seat. I tell riders that I treat it more like a library now. You can check one out, but you have to return it at the end of the drive. Most of my riders (Kansas City area) are respectful enough. It was just one that stole the previous set. And since the chargers were passenger goodies, they were tax-deductible anyway.

I had a friend in the past who brought me a beer everytime he came to see me. He borrowed a microphone and movies from me, and he could never bring them back when I asked him if he could. When I realized he was a junkie, it dawned on me that I would never see my stuff again. So, yeah, I got free beers, but I still got stuff stolen from me.

6:58 LOL I remember back in 2017, I woke up and decided I wanted to go to Florida for a couple weeks, so I was talking to my friend about it(I was leaving in 2 days so it was a rush job, unlike this trip in June to Cali, that I planned back in February), anyways that whole entire day, every time there was a commercial break on the TV, there was at least one commercial about Florida, whether it was orange juice or a “visit Florida” ad(oooh there were A LOT of them), I definitely felt like my TV was listening to me talking about my Florida plans. Crazy how that stuff happens 🤯

Well, Eddie, I agree with the end of your video where you said the girls were thinking what are you going to do about it. Isn't there a department within Uber that could look at your video proof of the girls stealing and take punitive action against the girl who paid for the ride. She should at least have her Uber account suspended as punishment.
My thoughts were along the same line. I guess they may not protect items you're selling. Maybe it's an, at your own risk, type of thing? I hope not. I would like to think they'd be charged on their cards, to prevent future acts like this one. They owe Eddie a lot!! He didn't take advantage of their age, or lack there of, he didn't bust them on YT by showing their faces, and he could of rolled back up, or done a million other things to retaliate, they could have really hurt them, or worse. My hope is that they at least learned a valuable lesson about not being shit humans, just because you can. It's scary how at risk young girls are anyway, and how much MORE risk they put into the situation by lying, inviting a stranger to smoke at their home, stealing from him, etc. I hope more parents learn from this video too!!

I have a 2020 Chevy Bolt Premier with the Infotainment package. So I have 2 USB ports in the back. I bought 3-way chargers (micro-C-Lightning) and put them back there so riders could charge. They were black chargers. I just left them there, dangling on the floor. And one day, I parked my car and noticed they weren't there. I did look back through my dashcam videos but didn't see it. I have bought new chargers for the back. They are white ,(more noticable) and I drape them forward to the passenger seat. I tell riders that I treat it more like a library now. You can check one out, but you have to return it at the end of the drive. Most of my riders (Kansas City area) are respectful enough. It was just one that stole the previous set. And since the chargers were passenger goodies, they were tax-deductible anyway.
