I’ve had people offer me food plenty of times when I drove Uber. McDonald’s, Taco Bell, actually a full pizza, brownies (the innocent kind) and stuff from gas stations. I used to tell people no, but then half the time or more…I wouldn’t get a tip from them after their ride and so after that, whenever anyone offered me some sort of food item, I would gladly accept or have them grab me a Red Bull when asked if i wanted anything from the gas station. I wanted to get my tip somehow.

What’s helped me to not feel those as heavy as I used to, is not to take myself so seriously. We all mess up and make mistakes. And if people point and laugh, we’ll take it in. Try and make em laugh even more lmao. ❤

I didn’t think that girl cussing out her ex boyfriend was cool or funny. Not knowing the whole situation, it felt toxic more than anything else-why was she threatening to beat him up-the guy had every right to end the conversation.
Not really relevant, but I am a former Uber driver (over 3.4k trips). I miss it. Had mostly nice interactions and often talked about a lot of different stuff with a lot of different people. It was cool and fun. I should have made more Uber videos like this. I think it’s a cool idea.

I drive for Lyft. I personally don't care if they sit in the front, as ling as they are respectful.
It's hard to gage a sociopath, they can start out seeming to be fine, then they shift, and your occupied with driving...it only takes one time! Good Luck🍀

If I made a joke and felt it might have been inappropriate, and especially when a quiet car ride reinforces that, I'd just say "I am sorry if my joke went over the line earlier" - that way it isn't too awkward and you already said sorry, whilst also acknowledging that you understand if it was, and the person can just say "no, no, it's fine" or "yeah.. it was weird, but it's all good" or, well, they get mad, but then that was probably unavoidable.
