but Friede stopped using black flame, probably to not have any kind of flame in her painting. she also rejected her duty as head of the curch of hollow, going as far as making herself of human appearance. remember what the purging stone says? it makes more sense that this band of hollows survived long after the legion fell, and was drawn into the painting because they had no place to be after the last of the legion dissapeared.
I always thought how it was weird that the followers were so organized in fighting. You got the Lothic knights that charges to battle, the sorcerers undead that just stand still stand still while others charges, but then the followers are so mobile. I guess being a failsafe to people like the abyss watchers makes sense.
Plunging the swords into the ground for fallen warriors also reminds me of the bonfires and how they are just that, a sword plunged into the ground for fallen warriors. Though we return to the bonfire when we die instead of having it mark our grave. I doubt there is a connection between the two, but the Farron forces used fire, have linked a flame, and fought hollows just as we have through out dark souls.
Hollows can do tasks, huh? Now I'm imagining a Dark Souls spin off where some society has used them instead of technology... packs of hollows pulling cars, buses, and trains, hoisting elevators, building skyscrapers. Fast food restaurants staffed with hollows... Hollows for room service and cleaning staff!
I REALLY hope the next DLC gives us something about the Profaned Capital. We know absolutely nothing about it, and it makes up a big part of the story. It was definitely one of the most underwhelming areas of the main game, and I'd love to see it expanded somehow.
YouSoSpice But we know so little about what happened! Who are these women who brought on the profaned flame? What even is the profaned flame? How is it that Pontiff Sulyvahn came to find the capitol? What exactly was he hoping to accomplish with the profaned flame? Why was the profaned flame ignited in the first place? How does Seigward know Yhorm? Is Yhorm related to the giants of DS2? Why did his people think so little of him? SO MANY QUESTIONS!
Azdie I mean, it's a popular opinion for sure. It could be pretty cool, but it seems like From is more interested in showing where the church of Londor is involved. We also know quite a bit about Londor already, far more than we know about the Profaned Capital.
William Miller After all, the creators said that next DLC will be a continuation of the previous one. Ariandel has nothing to do with Profaned Capital, while Elfriede of Londor already has. I agree that there are a lot of interesting things that need to be explained, but unfortunately we have only one DLC left.
I think the followers are hollows mind-wise but they still fight like a team because it is like an instinct or leftover thought in their minds. Their broken minds probably see you as infected by the abyss in the best case scenario or they just are attracted by souls.
I love your art for your videos and the mood that you set in your voice very professional I respect that and keeps me liking your videos every time. :)
Vaati, if you have a moment to consider this... Would it be wrong to assume that with all the killing, all the self inflicted madness, and all the old tales of great warriors fighting against that which is Dark or Abyss. Is it wrong to think that You as the Protagonist fighting all this, you are more of an Antagonist then a hero. I began thinking this back in DS2, when The Ivory DLC came out. For once you had a story of a great Hero of the people, not killing but instead caring for something from the dark. Yet, when you play and go through the story its nothing but mercy killings and self indulged hugeness. Then at the beginning of DS3 you meet The judge, a Hero of Old who sacrificed himself Once trying to stop you and then again as a judge to fight you over the concept of Fire, he even in death gives you the sword allowing for travel. It seems that every Boss from there is not so much a boss so much as they are an old soul from long ago that ether has gone mad, or is trying to keep you from discovering a truth. The truth being that everything is terrible and should end, but you as the player travel from place to place, killing everything and becoming more powerful. That is after all what Gwyn wanted, a powerful human to burn the dream alive again, yet all folk you run into don't want that. The saddest fight for me has to be the Twin Princes, a sad tale of lost ambitions and broken dreams where a young boy is born to be a sacrifice later but was deemed to weak to fight back, so his brother risks it all to help his younger brother escape this terrible fate, only to have you come along and kill both of them. You, the player, killing two Crippled brothers who don't want to fight, who moved far away to be free and let it fade to dark. after everything you do, can you really be considered a hero? A hero of Who? The people of Londor? The humans who broke and killed Manus over and over again, until it consumed and killed the city, then the rest of the lands. In the Description for the Millwood Great bow we now hear about a creature called the Abyss Dragon, could this be a connection to the age of dragons or a call back to the Dragon Hybrid you meet in DS2 that gives you the ability to travel back in time and gain strength against Vendrick, do you think there will be a connection? sorry for long comment, Been thinking for way to long about this.
and the fact that he also came or visited the Painting itself. If he's indeed had visited the Painting in the past and managed to get out of there, he's pretty much OP in his youth.
but he's not a Corvian though... the original citizens of the Painting World are Corvians the other are Hollows or creatures that are either forlorn or drawn in to the painting.
I already loved the Abyss Watchers lore before the dlc, now i love it even more! It's nice to see that they still keep their rituals towards fallen warriors
Following fire being effective against the Abyss, the Puss of Man is probably the purest form of the Abyss and they're extremely vulnerable to fire, to the point of being stunned.
Valorheart directly adresses that it was indeed Champions' weapon of choice. We fight not the champion himself, but his Graveatender. Perhaps an old friend. He just happend to use Valorheart as a weapon because it was near.
Very little information to go on. A champion, presumably of the Undead Matches (pvp arena). The sword+grave symbol is reminiscent of Artorias' grave and Sif, but there's no way to tell if that has some in-game significance, or if it's more of a nod from the developers. (Kinda like the grave Hawkwood sits at outside the Shrine. It's got a sword that looks like Artorias', and a dog sits in front of it that attacks when you go near.
Btw Vaati I remember you asking about the butterflyes above the Lothrick castle and I think I have an idea about their origin. I noticed that their wings look a lot like the hollows on the walls that have turned into trees. The trees are also all looking up to the cage where the dead angel is. I think that the butterflyes were the tree hollows ones and they have something to do with the angelic faith. The Angelic faith might have also been invented by the Pontif since his douple also has similar wings. The angelic faith fought against the old order just like pontif did and Sulivan was also a religious ruler.
Was playing just playing Smite when I saw notification for this video. Love the work and time you put into these man. Always waiting for something new from you. 10/10
If you look closely, the Ghurus in Farron's keep closely resemble the followers, but tainted by the abyss. The large elder ghurus resemble the milwood knights, as well
I've noticed that a major theme of this DLC is cooperation. The Followers, the wolves, Friede and Ariandel, the Champion's Gravetender and Gravetender Greatwolf, as well as the Ashen One and Gael. Is this something you noticed yourself; are you planning to cover this in one of these episodes?
Ashaira You do know in each Dark Souls a new cycle begins right? It like how in ds2 we kill the LAST giant but we still see see giants in ds3 or how ocieris is reincarnation of seath.
1) you can't reincarnet as someone who does not die. the serpents are immortal. 2) ds2 was clearly in another land. las giant there. we are clearly told the giants came from a distant land to bring back what vendric stole and we never go there. 3) cycles repeat but not major npcs.
If that came out as DLC I'd play the shit out of it for sure. And to Ashaira, Seathe the Scaleless wasn't a serpent and he definitely wasn't immortal, he was a mortal, frail abomination born without the stone scales of immortality as other dragons were but like Gywn he had a strong soul that endured after his mortal body died and the cycles passed, we fight the new vessel of Seathe's soul when we battle Ocieris.
The Abyss also represents the darkness of humans, the journey we have to take within to fight our own Abyss and thru internal alchemy turn it to light.
after seeing a Vaati vid, I always go and play Dark Souls ... every time. I see his vid pop up in my subscription feed and I am like " ok, guess I am playing Dark Souls tonight "
Isn't it the case that hollows are completely mindless, but they continue doing tasks they used to do while sane? That's why guard hollows in the undead burg in ds1 still patrol around, and attack you on sight, but the prisoner hollows in the asylum just bang their hands against the wall, while not even attacking you. Their minds are gone, but their bodies keep on doing what they did in life, just like how zombies work in a lot of zombie fiction.
I always look forward to your content and here is another well presented and explained video. Artorias and the abyss watchers is probably my favourite segment of DS lore so it's awesome to see them keep adding to it when we thought we had all the pieces. Thanks and keep it up :D
I'm surprised Hawkwood the deserter hasn't been mentioned, especially during the respect to fallen warriors bit. He goes and sits by a grave in firelink shrine sometimes.
Everything associated with the abyss is my favorite part in this game. This concept of a very dangerous thing affecting so many lives and making things worse reminds me of the Zerg from Starcraft series where later in the game we find out that the Zerg are actually the only thing capable of defeating the bad guys. Not saying that the abyss is not a "bad guy" in ds but what if it will be the same as the Zerg and it will be the only thing capable of doing some crazy stuff to the antagonist that is yet to appear like amon?
You should discuss the Millwood Knights in great depth as a topic in your next lore video . We actually know nothing of them except that they were also forlorn and worshipped the earth itself but what connection they had with the outside world ?
Maybe, just maybe not all in a Painting are from the same world... Perhaps they come from another, the world with a large divine Tree residing over it... (Elden Ring ?)
Great video! I must have missed that lorethrough episode so now I'll just binge watch the playlist. Damn you, you've given me something to do this evening! No spontaneity!
Speculation time: I wonder if the Followers are somehow related to the Girl With The Red Eyes. Maybe they were drawn into the painting as a potential source of (or perhaps as some sort of compass for; a tool for identifying and hunting down) the Pigment? Are the Followers on the painting to help Gael find The Dark Soul of Man?
Lessie de Velop I don't think so, the painting is a place where the people who have no place to go eventually end up. They're there because they had no choice, they were out of their own time.
Doo_liss Yes, but what force/who brings them in? Given that Gael draws the Ashen One in, it does not seem like a stretch that he's done it before to others, be it for a different or the same motive. I wouldn't be surprised if, hearing about the Abyss Watchers' ability/purpose to find and contain the Abyss, that Gael would think the Followers share these characteristics and could be used in his search for the Pigment.
Lessie de Velop Either that he just told them "Hey guys! There's an abyssal woman running around here! Go get her!" and they all jumped into the painting, but their hollowed out brains made them incapable of actually figuring out Elfriede was the target so they just wandered around, occasionally playing poker with the Milwood knights and becoming buddies with the local wolves.
joshua kim But...gaol was looking specifically for the second ash. without the father and Elfriede the pigment would useless. there was no fire, the chicken. was stuck in a tower guarded
good stuff man! loved it especially that outroXD I was like "DFKMXD" lmaooo anyways can't wait for the next video bro- I'm pretty hype since this channel always delivers beyond what's expected! gl with your projects bro and stay real
I was always curious about how we have so many instances or references of at least partially sentient hollows in 3, makes me wonder that if we finally get to the end of the prolonged age of fire hollowed sentient humans like in Londor will persist afterwards
hey vaati, I'm glad you have gotten back into it with the dlc. I was starting to get worried with the recent lack of (I'm really sorry)quality content like a few years ago. I hope you can continue to have success with the souls lore even after 3 dies out. Here's hoping the last dlc sends the title off with a bang.
Vaati I was wondering if you've noticed something. the weird tree people in ariandel are similar to on the high wall of lothric. After playing the dlc then starting a new character I noticed it. If you go right from the hill wall of lothric bonfire there seems to be hollows in a half tree state
+VaatiVidya Just wanted to say thanks Vaati. Every time one of these games makes me wanna smack my head against a wall your videos inspire me to play more. Keep up the awesome work!
Hey Vaati, have ever thought about making an encyclopedia about DS ? I have learnt so many pieces of information with you and the comments, it would be awsome to have all of this in a book.
Who would have known after booting up dark souls 1 and going into the menu would you soon be playing the root to a whole entire story so complex, yet intriguing.
Moonsorrow`s album V Hävitetty (2007) really fits this dlc! The second/last song "Tuleen Ajettu Maa"(A Land Driven Into The Fire) has a very fitting title.
Doesn't the 'floating chaos' spell remind you of the creatures beneath the Smoldering Lake? The ones that had the pit of fire for a stomach and could create those orbs that spat fire at you. Any correlation between Dunnel or 'floating chaos' and them or am I just seeing things?
The bugs are humans with swollen abyssal eyes, potentially two humans. Like a twin humanity. Not sure if this will be pointed out in the future. Also Sulyvahn may have modeled the outrider knights after the corvian knights... potentially.
Planning on going over Sir Vilhelm and how he is from Londor and works with Friede to subvert the painted world and watch it fall to rot (the Abyss) and how they are both trying to prevent a flame from revitalizing it similar to how the sable church does in the outside world with the lord of hollows ending?
Ok I just want to say somthing... Vaati, I just recently got bloodborne and didn't know what the heck any of it ment. So I got on TH-cam, typed in bloodborne lore and you popped up. I figured, "Probably just a guy saying, my stuff is better than anyone's. Only listen to me." But I started watching your videos, and I couldn't stop. Now I know everything there is to know about bloodborne and dark souls. All I'm asking is keep doing what you're doing. If you read this, thank for your time. Keep it up!!!
Dude Go the fuck To Criken2 And watch Edwad Emberpants series Now Vaati was a supporting character in it, travelling with the aforementioned Edwad the chosen one and Bedbananas, the cindered sun
Now that we vividly know about the Undead Legion, Lothric Kingdom, and Boreal Valley, I hope that the next DLC will inform us more about the Angelic faith, Londor, or, albeit far less likely due to Fromsoft saying that they will be taking a gothic approach to both DLCs, the empire of Carthus.
Curiosity question (and I'm not a lore master, please forgive any inaccuracies), the Followers of Farron used fire as a weapon against the Abyss right? (3:12) So how come the Followers of Farron never attempted to light the fire in the painted world? I've never played Dark Souls 3, cause my computer = potato, so I'm sure I'm missing something, I'm just curious. Love your vids btw VaatiVidya, always exciting to see a new one posted :)
Talking about the Milwood Knights, the Milwood Greatbow's description mentions an Abyss Dragon ! Next DLC boss leaked or nah ? Anyway great vid DaadiVydia :3
So is Londor an actual place? I was under the assumption that it was just like a rename of Anor Londo, considering how much of what happens in the usurping of the flame ending happens in Anor Londo. Also you see a lot of things get skewed or renamed over time in the souls series, so I'd consider it a possibility.
Hey vaati if you read these I think you might find it interesting that they added a set of painting guardian armour in the tower of the darkmoon covenant in Anor Londo with the recent DLC
have you ever considered going back and looking at how kaath and frampt have directed history so far? I'm pretty sure they are still around trying to work through the humans
Dude i watch ur videos always and am a big fan but i never commented... however out of boredom ( Sunday, dah..) am gonna say it , man.... you are my Morgan freeman :D
Fun fact since dark souls is like a love letter to berserk, the original band of the hawk members have a hill dedicated to them which is made up of nothing but swords thrust into the ground to honor them.
with all the information we get from DS3 is there any chance of returning to DS1 and 2 to apply what we learn to the situations there. That idea of hollows still performing tasks could be an interesting idea to apply to earlier key hollows, such as vendrick maybe?
2:44 "They would attack with this technique that was honed to face men." the technique called ganking
The most masterful of arts
the og gank squad
OG = Original Gankster?
Basically. I guess we all learned from the followers and didn't even realize it.
Akihiro Aki it works tho, dunnit?
Maybe the followers went into the painting chasing after freide, because as you said, the abyss can be manifested as the black flame
Keith Stone oooooo
Keith Stone That actually makes a lot of sense now that I think about it.
So Blackflame Friede IS the abyss itself?
but Friede stopped using black flame, probably to not have any kind of flame in her painting. she also rejected her duty as head of the curch of hollow, going as far as making herself of human appearance. remember what the purging stone says?
it makes more sense that this band of hollows survived long after the legion fell, and was drawn into the painting because they had no place to be after the last of the legion dissapeared.
Thunder the Bright Friede might have, but her manservant using her sword definitely does.
Basically the fanboys, of the fanboys of Artorias?
BoltOfMight If by fanboy you mean killing ones who lapsed, yes.
Killing the ones who've lapsed? Well, that IS fanboy behavior...
BoltOfMight
"I don't know who that Artemis guy is but man are those Abyss Watchers cool!" ~Followers of Farron.
Someones popular....
LOL
I could be wrong, but I have the sneaking suspicion that Vaati wants to visit Londor.
WHAT MAKES YOU SAY THAT
VaatiVidya
Call it a gut feeling.
:(
lance r ;)
Vaati's voice is like melted butter on a pancake

Thaaaat's not gonna end well :\
Londor? o.O
Londor 2066
This reminds me of the ending from Shaun of the Dead.
I REALLY hope the next DLC gives us something about the Profaned Capital. We know absolutely nothing about it, and it makes up a big part of the story. It was definitely one of the most underwhelming areas of the main game, and I'd love to see it expanded somehow.
Yhorm seems like a great guy. Shame everything turned out the way it did.

William Miller My guess is that we'll visit Londor in the next DLC. And in my honest option, this is the best option.

So your telling me Rickert gave them the idea of honoring dead knights by representing them with swords and keeping them?
Gilbert Gallardo Yeah, rickert was beyond of it
I thought Rickert was a reference to Berzerk
Damn near anything in this game is a reference to Berserk.
And the most satisfying moment in berserk is when Rickert slaps Griffith
I didnt get.
What is the matter with Rickert?
Freide's feet
:)
tommy tran why
kinky
I don't get it....
@@sevenoneheaven The scene of her bare feet immediately set off the Waifu alert in most players heads
they say if you're early, then nothing fucking happens.
who is 'they' spreading dumb rumors around
'they' are those tainted by the saltiest parts of The Abyss, forever spreading black flames across the surface to plague those yet not tainted.

sorry for long comment, Been thinking for way to long about this.
Toasted llah that was beautiful
We need to find out more about the Abyss Dragon
Victory needs a lot of deaths, without fighting, human can not evolve.
Prince Lothric is not weak at all, his laser cost me half of lifebar.
***** I do enjoy Cinnamon Toast Crunch
Ethquan CG Agreed, My Millwood Knight build must have the full back story
Clicks on Vaati's video, fullscreen, leans back, folds arms and absorbs the souls knowledge
I want to see the return of edwad emberpants so much.
I've heard whisperings that there is a video soon
criken tweeted it
What exactly is the aftermath of the "Emberhands" ending?
VaatiVidya lore video when?
Alan Raymond 3pm EST today you can expect that video.
VaatiVidya The hype is pretty huge for me man, thanks for confirming that. Can't wait to see your interpretation of the lore of King Edwad.
MORE ABOUT OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR MASTER SULYVAHN PLS .
Yes please. Such an intriguing character. A shame he didn't get a cutscene since he is the biggest baddie ever in Dark Souls.
and the fact that he also came or visited the Painting itself. If he's indeed had visited the Painting in the past and managed to get out of there, he's pretty much OP in his youth.
... Maybe I'm wrong, but isn't there a piece of lore info that specifically states that he was born in the painting.
#Sulyvahn did nothing wrong
but he's not a Corvian though... the original citizens of the Painting World are Corvians the other are Hollows or creatures that are either forlorn or drawn in to the painting.
I already loved the Abyss Watchers lore before the dlc, now i love it even more! It's nice to see that they still keep their rituals towards fallen warriors

Thanks, Vaati for allowing me to contribute to this channel in the form of the subtitles.
Thank you for helping other people enjoy my videos.
I also wanted to ask you, is there anything in your opinion I could improve on with subtitling?
DonNinja unless he speaks said language he probably can't give you any suggestions...
Dean444ful I just subtitled it in English not any other language.
DonNinja oh gotcha
it's confirmed! Abyss is dark souls ebola
:D
I like Vaati as he can explain us almost everything by detail like from a torn page of book at floor to what hollow soldiers eat at breakfast
Speaking of swords in earth, who's grave is it in the gravetender boss fight arena?
+Benjamin Ford the sword should be a Chaos zueihander
J Vince the body behind Artorias's grave in DS1 is mostly likely Ciaran since it has the Hornet ring
Valorheart directly adresses that it was indeed Champions' weapon of choice. We fight not the champion himself, but his Graveatender. Perhaps an old friend. He just happend to use Valorheart as a weapon because it was near.
One of the items mentions that the Grave Tender was his Page. I think it was the Champion's Ashes that says it.
Very little information to go on. A champion, presumably of the Undead Matches (pvp arena). Nice to see that free camera ban has not discouraged you from using it! Keep up with the nice vidyo Vaati.
Next dlc we should go back in time and side with the Undead Legion in a war of some sort where the abyss is growing. like if you agree.
we already killed the father of the abyss in ds1. not much can be done to top that unless they bring the pigmy into the picture.
Ashaira You do know in each Dark Souls a new cycle begins right? It like how in ds2 we kill the LAST giant but we still see see giants in ds3 or how ocieris is reincarnation of seath.

Poor vaati, never got his Londor DLC
Well at least we got a better idea of what angels are, which is londor related. Also Sister Friede and Sir Vilhelm are related to Londor
You should discuss the Millwood Knights in great depth as a topic in your next lore video . We actually know nothing of them except that they were also forlorn and worshipped the earth itself but what connection they had with the outside world ?
im pretty sure millwood knights are the 3rd and last upcoming video he planned to do on the dlc
Speculation time:
I wonder if the Followers are somehow related to the Girl With The Red Eyes.
Not sure, but one thing IS for certain:
Those helmets make the perfect headwear for lawn gnome cosplays.
It’s sad that the series has ended, there’s SO MUCH MORE! So much we have yet know.
hey vaati, I'm glad you have gotten back into it with the dlc. I was starting to get worried with the recent lack of (I'm really sorry)quality content like a few years ago. I hope you can continue to have success with the souls lore even after 3 dies out. Here's hoping the last dlc sends the title off with a bang.
Your content has been 10/10 lately. Keep it up our Lord of Hollows.
holy freak, almost 5k on your patreon O:
well deserved! love your stuff, can't wait for more!
Brilliant video! Glad you didnt skip over these fellas
There's so much passion when you talk about DS lore.
The forsaken Vaati became an old man near the end. It's heartbreaking, truly.
You are the prince of SoulsBorne Vaatji, Amazing video!
I use to be subscribed to 3 more dark soul lore channels, but i just like one. Vaati keep posting dark souls lore until there is no more to cover. ;D
3:25 This honorable send-off
*Proceeds stabbing dying enemy*
This video made me want to pick up DS3 again, thank you very much for putting in the effort of still making videos Vaati!
Vaati I was wondering if you've noticed something. the weird tree people in ariandel are similar to on the high wall of lothric. After playing the dlc then starting a new character I noticed it. If you go right from the hill wall of lothric bonfire there seems to be hollows in a half tree state
A great video as always, Vaati. Thanks!
Love your videos VaatiVidya keep being awesome!
Moonsorrow`s album V Hävitetty (2007) really fits this dlc! The second/last song "Tuleen Ajettu Maa"(A Land Driven Into The Fire) has a very fitting title.
Your videos are always of great quality! Keep it up!
Doesn't the 'floating chaos' spell remind you of the creatures beneath the Smoldering Lake? The ones that had the pit of fire for a stomach and could create those orbs that spat fire at you. Any correlation between Dunnel or 'floating chaos' and them or am I just seeing things?
+Misguided the item description for that spell says he was inspired by them, if I remember correctly.
Ah, just seeing things then
Vaati lore is so well presented
The bugs are humans with swollen abyssal eyes, potentially two humans. Like a twin humanity. Not sure if this will be pointed out in the future. Also Sulyvahn may have modeled the outrider knights after the corvian knights... potentially.
I kinda wish you could find random charred remains of Farron's legion with spears jammed into them.
you have a voice i could listen to forever dude
MOAR! GIVE US MOAR OH GREAT LORAX OF DANK SOULS! MOOOOOOOOOAR!!!!
You're voice is so soothing that whenever i watch one of your lore videos while laying in bed. I fell asleep almost instantly. 👍👌
great vid vaati keep doing what ur doing
NEED
MORE
LORE
Planning on going over Sir Vilhelm and how he is from Londor and works with Friede to subvert the painted world and watch it fall to rot (the Abyss) and how they are both trying to prevent a flame from revitalizing it similar to how the sable church does in the outside world with the lord of hollows ending?
That's some Honourable send off , keep attacking you even when ur dead
Ok I just want to say somthing... Vaati, I just recently got bloodborne and didn't know what the heck any of it ment. So I got on TH-cam, typed in bloodborne lore and you popped up. I figured, "Probably just a guy saying, my stuff is better than anyone's. Only listen to me." But I started watching your videos, and I couldn't stop. Now I know everything there is to know about bloodborne and dark souls. All I'm asking is keep doing what you're doing. If you read this, thank for your time. Keep it up!!!
Whats weird to me is you can see the painter in the attic when you invade someone elses world.
Sooner than I expected
been waiting on this, best part of the dark souls 3 story
Vaabi tell us the lore on Edwad not linking the fire.
Yeah come on Vaati
when's the edwad joke lore video?
Dude
Go
the fuck
To Criken2
And watch
Edwad Emberpants series
Now
Vaati was a supporting character in it, travelling with the aforementioned Edwad the chosen one and Bedbananas, the cindered sun
You have made me proud
All hail Edwad, our lord
Now that we vividly know about the Undead Legion, Lothric Kingdom, and Boreal Valley, I hope that the next DLC will inform us more about the Angelic faith, Londor, or, albeit far less likely due to Fromsoft saying that they will be taking a gothic approach to both DLCs, the empire of Carthus.
another amazing video once again. keep up the good work bro
Dude are you going to finish your Walk Thru on the whole Dark Souls 3 game? Not Just the Dlc?
This is going to be a good video; I can already tell.
bloody hell, that voice at the end. I thought it was vaatividya for a sec
Seems to me everything involving the Artorias Watchers makes me like them more.
So is Londor an actual place? I was under the assumption that it was just like a rename of Anor Londo, considering how much of what happens in the usurping of the flame ending happens in Anor Londo. Also you see a lot of things get skewed or renamed over time in the souls series, so I'd consider it a possibility.
Your work is always gorgeous! Thank you Vaati! :)
What's the lore on the wolves Vaabi?
Ariandel Ross' happy little accidents.
***** Das gud lore.
i noticed that the wolves fights you the same way as the followers, if you wait for them they surround you before start attacking
Dude i watch ur videos always and am a big fan but i never commented... however out of boredom ( Sunday, dah..) am gonna say it , man.... you are my Morgan freeman :D
Are you planning on continuing your lore through series I really loved that series ?
Fun fact since dark souls is like a love letter to berserk, the original band of the hawk members have a hill dedicated to them which is made up of nothing but swords thrust into the ground to honor them.
Awesome video, like all the rest. Keep it up! :)
with all the information we get from DS3 is there any chance of returning to DS1 and 2 to apply what we learn to the situations there. That idea of hollows still performing tasks could be an interesting idea to apply to earlier key hollows, such as vendrick maybe?
