Hi Leila, I want to say that you really inspired me. From this video alone I got two quotes to live by. "What gets you started is the excitement of something new, but what gets you to a million is being able to say no to everything else and focus on one product, one channel, one avatar, one task at hand. In my personal life, whenever I get stressed I take on something new. It's the excitement that keeps me afloat. I've recently dealt with a lot of setbacks in my personal life and that chasing something new has definitely created a situation where I was in over my head. Working 60 hrs week at a day job, going to school full time, starting a farm, learning how to knit, writing a book, etc.I was constantly trying to ride that high. Since really internalizing that about myself, I'm now trying to take a moment to decide if the shiny new thing will serve me in meeting my goals. The answer is usually no, and I appreciate your honesty on the subject. The second thing you said that really resonated with me is that the only thing that compounds faster than interest is learning. For me, sometimes learning is the shiny new thing, but in bringing those two together you can create a balance where the learning drives me towards my destination, rather than down some side path that looks interesting. In the English language, the sentence, "How is this free" is considered a question. Even if it doesn't have a question mark at the end, it's still _implied_ as a question. So if you don't want an answer, then be honest enough to not ask a question, in the first place. I suck with minimal effort at transforming my own habits, helping other people transform their habits, and coaching people through lean/MVP product development. Great preso Leila. Don’t forget to add pricing on there as a massive trap for starters. They simply don’t charge enough to be able to build a team around them. My network gets stuck at this stage wondering how to get time back because they can’t afford to take on any talent 🤷🏻♂️ with VAs available it shouldn’t be that hard but they can’t seem to get their minds out of the hourly wage concept and overlay that into their business’ pricing.
