I was working in a 10b project as marketing manager but I left because they didn't communicate efficiently. However, it isn't what you'd expect. They would spend 6 hours of the work day in group meetings with 2 people talking and the rest stressing over not having time to complete their work. That dynamic is harder to maintain in bigger companies due to ego and hierarchy. Super interesting stuff. Thanks

More CEO mindset, how to build great teams, high level CEO/COO mindset videos. Really, these videos are for the 45k of us who want to learn this. Maybe they will never get to a million views, but maybe that is because there aren't a million future $30m+ CEOs out there. So we the few--we want more of this. 🥰

I’m running a business with a team of 40 and I’ve been binging on your content. It’s been so valuable Leila, and everything is so applicable. I really appreciate it.
Looking at the title on some of them, I feel like I would never have clicked on them if I didn’t know how much value you deliver.
Just my humble opinion. Your content is very different to Alex’s and I feel like your title is influenced by how he label his content. Yours is very much focused on running the leadership, management, executive team and the challenges they face.
This video for example, is like one of the best communications videos I’ve watched, but I would never have clicked on it base on that title.
Just thinking about who you are trying to attract for your company as well - I wonder if a title like this would work better ‘How $100mil CEOs and Leaders Communicate Effectively | tactical training’. Just a thought.
    Have an awesome day!

"no one is born an introvert" -- you don't really understand what being an introvert means, do you? It's not just a label to use on people. It's the source of people's energy. Introverts recharge when they are alone, extraverts recharge when they are with others. An introvert can learn to be an effective communicator, but an introvert will be using the energy to do it - as opposed to an extravert, who will be getting recharged from communications.

In regards to aspects of communication, here Leila fails to mention the MOST important aspect of communication. How do I know this ? It is because I know what the aspect is, and I teach, train, and mentor people about this MOST important aspect. In fact, if Leila was familiar about this, her companies would be more profitable.
(Leila: should you be interested in knowing what this aspect is, let's talk.)

Perception is 100% key. Number #3 is called having high level of Emotional Intelligence. This is the new paradigm of leadership. The old style is #1 and #2 CEO styles. With the global market , those organizations with high EI will be scalable and sustainable. My vote has always been #3 CEO style. Great insights!

Hey Leila! Another great video. For the good communications formula you had, is it supposed to be (Energy x Engagement + Emotional Control) x Exploration? Not (Energy x Engagement) + (Emotional Control x Exploration). Like Exploration is a multiplier for all of the other 3, right? I have an Engineering background so my math order of operations is messing with me. Just want to exchange my assumption with concrete information :) Oh and my communications score is probably a 4. Thanks again to both you and Alex for putting out so much great content.

I disagree with the "too much communication" business executives are very busy people and do not have time for over communicating, they want facts, clarity and not loads of drivel. Its about yes keep communicating but make it quality. I got bored with a lot of this video and it was a good example of over talking, to me there was a lot of unnecessary talking.

    • @abigailjackson2843

I think the key is what is being communicated... There's lots of relationships on edge because the husband definitely thinks his wife over-communicates (ie she talks all the time about things he finds trivial). Over sharing about personal, non-relevant things is a total turn off. I think if I was clarifying terms for my company, I would differentiate between "over sharing" (non-relevant information) and "communication" (making sure everyone involved knows what we're doing, why we're doing it, and how we're doing it)

    • @rebeccavesperas8274
      @rebeccavesperas8274 ปีที่แล้ว +3

I agree, overcommunicating is a real thing and can be a major turn off. But I think her point is that most people err on the side of not communicating enough.

Is it because she doesn't know how to communicate?
The F 💣 is truly takes away the quality of the content she's trying to deliver and even from her. It makes her look mean and low class.
You know what though, I don't think she cares.
