As a 31 year old, I’m taking this advice for my 30s. It’s better late than never. To anyone reading this, no matter your age, it’s never too late for you ❤
Everyday is a new day day to become better..Cliche but true, I have lately come across people from diverse age groups starting over or starting something new- there's no time only mind....
As a 55y/o woman - listen to Leila!! I wasted just over a decade on a sociopath who was difficult to get rid of and almost killed me (stress of emotional abuse). My last words to him "i don't wish you ill, i don't wish you well, i just wish to never speak to you or think of you ever again". I was perfectly happy alone, and made my list of what i wanted in a partner. I found him a few years later and am now building a new business with a kick ass younger friend.
Just left my job to commit to something bigger and my boyfriend broke up with me. "We don't have the same vision for life anymore." Great better to know 11 months in than 11 years in ✌️ Thank you for this, Leila!! Pouring into myself 100% not just 99% anymore
Love this for you. You may meet someone and share a vision for 5 years and then meet someone else and share a vision for 10 years. Life is an ever expanding journey ❤
Sarah Blakely's who created Spanx has an amazing story. She didn't marry the boyfried when she started her entrepreneur journey. Recommend you listen to how she met her husband. Completely unexpected.
You are, keep it up, once you learn, you gotta start putting what you learned into action and then learn as you go. Don't procrastinate, you will be so successful, especially starting in your early 20's. I am so excited for you! Good luck!
You're not. I listened to motivational speakers from 20 to 30 years old without any real progress. This is a bunch of nothing if you don't put in the action.
@@AIoanaLaura I think my point was that most ppl my age do not watch stuff like this. No need to tell someone “they are not ahead.” You don’t know if I put stuff into action or not. Have a good day
Its never too late just GET UP AND DO😀Im 56 businesswoman in Denmark, and im making 2 mill in profit after costs this year. I have only been in the game 3 years now. I love Leila and her channel and her honest words like this. Yes it is never too late.
OMG Im afraid I manifested this video!! Im in my 20s and couple of days ago I said "I wonder what advice would Leila give me" as a young girl trying to figure her 20s out. Thank you for this one! ❤
Because I didn't take this advice in my 20s, I am now doing a lot of damage control at 35. My entire life - marriage, health, finances - are in shambles, and I've had to do a lot of hard healing and recovery work to rebuild everything. Leila is 100% correct. Listen to her.
I am in the exact same situation, damage control at 35, you are not alone. I am struggling with the deepest regret and depression while trying to continue my life and make better decisions.
As a 32 year old this is incredible info for the 20’s and beyond 👏🏾👏🏾. I wanted to share one thing tho, true intuitive gut “feelings” come from your spirit/true self and she does not want you to stay in your comfort zone. She wants you to grow so you can fulfill your purpose in life. Those “gut feelings” you’re speaking of are fear based and fear comes from the mind not spirit/intuition. That’s how you can tell the difference. Just wanted to share that in case it helps someone 💕.
No drama, no catering to people who take you for granted, owning 100% of your time and income, not having to explain how and why you spent it, no trying to change anyone and getting them to listen and understand... need I say more? 🎉❤ Only people who are worth it make it to your circle. Excellent advice ❤
loved this so much!! I'm a 28year old woman and started a company from the ground on at age 26. No one close to me who could give me advice on how to start and if it was the right move. All they said was it's a bad time to start. I heard this from people who worked a 9 to 5 job and how settled down purely out of convenience. I didn't wanted convenience so I started anyway. It's f*cking hard work but I love every step of it because I trusted myself and not the people around me. It's always a 'bad time' to start, but if you know your own worth you will definitely figure things out.
Oh how I can relate to your story! I started my own company when I was 26 as well (I’m now 27), and no one around me could give me any advice on how to have your own business, so I learned everything along the way. Thankfully I have an amazing, supportive partner who always pushes me to become better, and that helped a lot. And yes, knowing what you’re worth is life-changing. Thank you for sharing!
Your advice about being your own best company is so important. I think a lot of people, especially women, are conditioned to seek validation and fulfillment from external sources. You inspired me to create this channel
Leila's talking about becoming independent so you can: 1) be independent, and also so you can 2) be INTERDEPENDENT, not being dependent, not codependent, not even just independent (although that's a goal everyone needs to reach and a million times better than dependent and codependent). Stephen Covey talks about this in his book 7 Habits For Highly Effective People. Which is a classic in the genre of self development and everyone should read it - it's 100% in alignment with everything Leila & Alex talk about.
I’ve made so many mistakes, and everything Leila is saying here is gold. My daughter is 22, and I’m going to staple her eyes open and force her to watch this video everyday. 😂😂😂
Leila you are such an inspiration to me. I just turned 50 and if I had implemented this advice 30yrs ago, wow, how much better my life would be. I am doing it now though at 50. Start anytime but start. She is right.
In my late twenties now and I've got to give it to you Lealia, you were very mature at such a young age! I moved out in my mid twenties to attend business school, but quickly became overwhelmed with responsibility. I dropped out and it completely crippled my confidence. It led me into a deep depression. I decided to continue school and now I'm finishing my last year of college. It has been so difficult to find balance. I desperately want to lose weight, and become more independent so i can create the life I envision for myself. I hope this vidoe will be a turning point for me. I think people who never reach success like you mentioned is because they let their feelings govern the situation. Love your advice!!
Your gut and intuition are different than your fleeting thoughts and feelings. If you're in tune with your intuition it will align with your calling even when that isn't comfortable. We don't need to be disconnected from our gut and our intuition in order to succeed. Both can exist.
I’m 46 and did a lot of the same things you did as a young person. I love that you are a role model for other young women!! There needs to be more of us out there! ❤
As a 20-year-old chasing after money, I’ve realized that I need to slow down and focus on upgrading my skills and improving my health. Leila, I want to thank you for being such a wonderful, strong woman; I look up to you as a mother figure because no one around me seems to understand me. Thank you for these brutal truths 💪. Love you so much ❤
Every woman needs to hear: You are not obligated to please everyone. Not everyone will like you, and that’s okay. Your worth isn’t tied to others’ opinions. Prioritize your own happiness and self-respect. Boundaries are essential, and self-love isn’t selfish-it’s necessary for healthy relationships and personal growth.
Love this! My parents left me at 17 and I ended up with a really abusive partner when I was trying to survive. I just turned 30 and I feel like all I’ve accomplished is having kids because yes I left my abuser but I was left a single mom trying to balance everything. I love my kids but I’m dedicating my 30s to becoming who I want to be ❤
I agree with a lot but your intuition will never lead you the wrong way.. it’s not society.. it’s spirituality. You’re a spirit living in a human form.. & could be hard for many to separate the mind (which is thinking survival / fear) and the spirit / you’re intuition / the gut feeling is what’s helping you. Always always listen to it
I love your wisdom. I lived that in my 20's but it came from trauma that my mother experienced. Teaching me not to trust people. So I became independent for the wrong reasons. Who you decided to be in your 20's, I didn't learn until my 40's. OMG, you are doing such a huge service to the young women that are watching you. I pray that people take your advice and change the future. Save themselves decades.
That was my favorite Leila Hormozi video of all time. I need every woman I know to see this. I needed to sit up in my seat to watch it. I replayed parts of it. I shared it. I think i need to watch this every single day for the foreseeable future. Thank you Leila. You just became my hero.
I’ve watch this video already 2 times. The amount of energy it brings to myself is indescribable. I’m 23 years old and this really made me internalize a lot of things and realize I have a shit of work to do besides school. Thank you Leila for being so bold and honest you are definitely something else🔥🫶🏼
I needed to pause the video after 5 minutes just to add my comment. Leila, I've never been so inspired and focused as much as now. I wish you always be the best version of yourself.. You are amazing!!
Such great advice. This is the BIGGEST lesson we all need to learn. To be REAL with ourselves and recognize our shortcomings and what we need to improve on.
I respect you so so much Leila! I am 28 years old, I launched a podcast called Hidden Julz to highlight small business owners but I got super discouraged when people would cancel, I am not givingup but I am blessed for your advice. I am also finally showing myself respect and dating someone that admires me and supports me. I appreciate your wisdom so so much!! God bless you Leila, blessings!!!
Amazing! I’m 25 from Sweden. I reason with Leila’s thoughts and opinions so much. When she talks about surround yourself with people who also are entrepreneurs, I realized I’m only a pair of friends with that mindset. If anyone in the nordics feel like meeting and exchange thoughts I’m up for it!
2:26 oh I love this. This is literally what happened to me. I made a major decision based on my gut feelings at the age of 28 and I regret it till date, 4 years later. That 1 decision could have transformed my life, if I stayed more open minded and went for it.
I agree on not letting your emotions dictate your life but intuition is NOT dysfunctional patterns, beliefs or emotions. Everytime i haven't listened to my intuition, I have regretted it big time. I now trust this extra information and my life is better then it was previously. Still always growing, learning and pushing for the next level. If you are an intuitive person and have extra insight please do not think this is the same as a mood swing or disregard it.
Hi Leila, I’m 20 and your advice really hits home. I’ve come to the same realizations about building my skills, not relying on anyone financially, and focusing on impressing myself before others. I’m in college, just got my real estate license, and am networking like crazy here in Vegas. Thank you for all your content and contributions :)
As a girl who just turned 20 and building a business. This video just saved my life , Thank you soo much Leila this was an eye opener , the self-respect and being alone parts OMG I just needed to hear it .thanks once again .
The point about respecting yourself first is so important. I have just ended a friendship due to them continually disrespecting me , I told them why I didnt want to meet anymore. I should have done it years ago. While it was uncomfortable, it needed to be done , it felt congruent.
This was awesome. Im not in my 20s anymore but I never learned to set appropriate boundaries within my relationships and it’s has tragically impacted me. I have walked away calmly from those I’ve allowed to stunt my overall growth and I have exploded in more personal relationships; however I release the angst and anger with myself over the unnecessary wreckage of productive business trajectories for others and myself over my lack of assertiveness and ability to convey in a succinct and serious manner boundaries violation and really just defining my boundaries by saying no I’m not able to do that because it undermines the respect I have for myself and our valued work partnership without anymore explaining 🎉❤😂 thank you very much Leila Hormozi; you are a psychologist 😂❤
Lord Jesus ❤ this is SO good. I think God led me to the video. Realizing I been using my “gut feeling” or “intuition“ a bit too much. Emotions are so annoying for us women. I’m not letting them run my life anymore. The woman God created me to be does not let her emotions dictate what she does or doesn’t do. She goes after what she knows is hers and serves Gods Kingdom ✝️
I’m going through one of the hardest times right now and this video also helped - not allowing my emotions to dictate actions I so badly need to be doing to get out of this.
I wish I found you sooner. The way you explain things from experience makes it so much easier to relate. As someone who has been over emotional and dependent you have opened my eyes. Thank you!
I was a very emotional person before, and I thought I'll be that way forever and this is who I am, but the most that changed that about me was is that I really knew what I wanted in life, and actually started with it
Thanks for these knowledge , these videos are gold. Please change the title of this video because as a male in his thirties , I learned so much from this video. Please change the title so that it can reach more people. The knowledge in these videos are universal and is very useful for both genders.
Yes yes yes to most things you’ve said. You’re a great motivator Leila! The only thing I’d like to say to people especially those with gut issues is to also be mindful that not everyone’s body can keep up with the go go go mindset. If you suffer from IBS or a weak nervous system then listen to your body don’t ignore it. Whenever you start rushing to pursue goals at the expense of your mental and physical state It’ll affect your nervous system and will affect your gut even more. So if your mood is anxious then you need to calm down and stop what you’re doing until your nervous system calms down. These moods should be listened to. Achieving dreams shouldn’t come at the expense of your health. Otherwise you won’t be able to even enjoy the fruits of your labour. Pushing past pain could be counterintuitive and set you back even more.
This is all essential advice. Leila is a gem in this industry. My only criticism / request of this video is to have Leila’s quotes captioned completely vs. karaoke style. I resonate with how TH-camrs edit their quotes to fit all on the screen because it helps me take notes and screenshot them to share on my stories.
Lady L, it has been a minute since we have connected, you look great, thanks for sharing, great reminder, stay blessed, keep shining and let's go! 👊👊👊👊👊👊👊😴
i am so grateful that you have faced every challenge thrown at you by life and chose to honor yourself in both struggling and victorious moments to become the person you are today. thank you for sharing your wisdom with us.
Dang, a great video. Love it. My first "paid" job was a telemarketer as a 15 year old working 4-8pm 6 days a week. Expected to make 150 calls a shift, and learned how to get over people hanging up on you and get over people saying no. This is such a good set of truths in this video.
You literally mirrored what was already inside me. But I always kept it in my thoughts, never actually acted upon them cuz I was afraid to hurt others. Now I know it doesn't matter, I should take care of myself more.❤
I’ve been obsessed with this idea ever since I started reading 'The Irresistible Seduction Formula.' Like, why don’t we talk about this stuff more? Girls, you NEED to check it out!
I loved this video, I’m 24 and figuring out what I want to do with my life. I would like to be free. I have a plan to go to medical school or even real estate but being in debt is such a scary thing to me. I also don’t have anyone in my family that thinks the way I do it seems. It’s really overwhelming trying to talk to them about my dreams, they don’t know what to say or support it because it’s risky to them. I think being alone more often is something I can improve on. So I can listen to myself.
Great advice! I just want to add that if you can't change your circumstance, you can change your perspective on them. You have the power to accept where you're at NOW and to make life better NOW. True growth happens when you change the way you look at the same things. ALSO, no shame in staying in a relationship that has experienced infidelity. There are many relationships that go through this and come out the other side stronger than ever. It does not mean you have no self-respect, it means you are able to work through issues and realize that no one is perfect but it doesn't have to be the end all in a relationship.
Looooooove this!! So glad I found you and your content! Your wisdom is beyond your years. I love that you can talk about making big money, but combine it with deeper matters of personal well being!

I now trust this extra information and my life is better then it was previously. Still always growing, learning and pushing for the next level. If you are an intuitive person and have extra insight please do not think this is the same as a mood swing or disregard it.
She is right from A to Z. Thank you Leila
Thank you so much from a girl in her 19. Struggling with procrastinate, being lonely, sacrificing my self respect for myself
God I needed this. Turning 20 in six months. I’m scared as hell but also shifting my mindset to make the most of them.
I actually love you ! Thank you for making this .
As a girl who just turned 20 and building a business. This video just saved my life , Thank you soo much Leila this was an eye opener , the self-respect and being alone parts OMG I just needed to hear it .thanks once again .
I just sent this to my daughter as I take listen because I will never be too old to keep learning! Now it’s action 💥 dang it haha
The point about respecting yourself first is so important. I have just ended a friendship due to them continually disrespecting me , I told them why I didnt want to meet anymore. I should have done it years ago. While it was uncomfortable, it needed to be done , it felt congruent.
So awesome. I am going to make my 12 year old daughter listen to this. Thank you. 😊
LEILA, you make me happy. Thanks for all the knowledge and value you give💚
27 and I have exactly the same mindset❤ Thank you for making me know that I’m not alone and actually on the right track, Leila❤
I wish I found you sooner. The way you explain things from experience makes it so much easier to relate. As someone who has been over emotional and dependent you have opened my eyes. Thank you!
I was a very emotional person before, and I thought I'll be that way forever and this is who I am, but the most that changed that about me was is that I really knew what I wanted in life, and actually started with it
I wanted to see you since i saw alex hormozi. And damn, you do match the energy!
Great speech 👏🏻👏🏻really needed to hear this
Thanks for these knowledge , these videos are gold.
Please change the title of this video because as a male in his thirties , I learned so much from this video. Please change the title so that it can reach more people.
The knowledge in these videos are universal and is very useful for both genders.
Thank you Leila for the nuggets of wisdom shared. Very inspiring!
Love this set! So calming and easy to watch. Sharing this with my young friends! I hope you write a book someday 🌻
I'm turning 40 next year BUT still took notes. I definitely have the 'enjoy being alone' one down 😂.
Thanks ❤❤ You’re my part of my mornings now - learning from you as I get ready for the day😊
Thank you Leila! ❤ Though I'm already in my early 30's this is still very helpful and applicable! This is gold! ✨
Leila is the beauty and brain behind the Hormozi brand! She’s brilliant! ❤
THANK YOU sister!
Now I know it doesn't matter, I should take care of myself more.❤
Thank you Leila! So condensed and well thought out!
I'm so grateful to be able to hear her & have some reference to improve on my day-to-day challenges.
Amazing wisdom young lady thank you 🙏🏼 😊
Being uncomfortable will make you grow !!!
Thank you Leila for opening my eyes ❤. Sending Love from Costa Rica
Thank you Leila! I'm glad to have someone that I can relate to ❤
Boss!! You are an inspiration!
I love how non-judgmental these videos are. She seems like the most approachable person on earth ❤
👏 I enjoyed this motivation! Thanks Leila.
I’ve been obsessed with this idea ever since I started reading 'The Irresistible Seduction Formula.' Like, why don’t we talk about this stuff more? Girls, you NEED to check it out!
I got it, truly a good book
I loved this video, I’m 24 and figuring out what I want to do with my life. I would like to be free. I have a plan to go to medical school or even real estate but being in debt is such a scary thing to me. I also don’t have anyone in my family that thinks the way I do it seems. It’s really overwhelming trying to talk to them about my dreams, they don’t know what to say or support it because it’s risky to them. I think being alone more often is something I can improve on. So I can listen to myself.
This video is so good. Thank you for your thoughts. I feel the same. And wish every woman would respect herself more and put herself first. 🙏💖
Great video, Leila! You have no idea how much these videos are helping people to open their eyes.
Love your wisdom Leila!! ❤️ Every woman does need this!!
Success is about being brave.. Take the leap even when everything and everyone around you is telling you NO.. You gotta say YES!!!! GOGOGO!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Looooooove this!! So glad I found you and your content! Your wisdom is beyond your years. I love that you can talk about making big money, but combine it with deeper matters of personal well being!
As a 37 yo I wish this information was available for me in my 20 but I have no regrets because I’m thankful for my family but it’s never too late to be the boss and take control of your own life… just started watching your channel keep doing what you do💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯your content is very helpful to get over procrastination and stop negative self talk 🙏🏻🙏🏻you mean business no b.s.👏👏👏the whole time iv been asking myself what I need to change in myself to become an entrepreneur so I can tackle it and go forward.
Leila! Thank you 🙏🏻
This is SUCH a powerful video. It feels great to see I'm on the right path.
Unreal. Thank you 🙌🙌💓
