Keeping promises to yourself is one of the highest forms of self love.
You don’t have a time management problem. You have an activity management problem.
Consistency and discipline will take you places nothing else will.♥️

SOOOO many software development teams need the advice in this video. Probably the most commonly committed sin is that most dev teams start off the morning with a "Standup" (status meeting), which means the managers are mollified but all of the developers (creatives) are now drained of energy they needed to get started on their work.

This video really got me thinking about how I manage and track my time and called my self out for falling short of what I need to do. I heard this video last week and this past Sunday I sat down thought out what I needed to do, what was most important, when it made most sense to do it, and color-code my events based on work and life activities to quickly see what am I doing mostly during the week, work or personal. Gamechanger for me. Thank you, Leila! God bless you.

Layla, I really appreciate this video. This is something I’ve struggled with in my role and I didn’t know how to articulate it to the owners. I have been in this company since we were 5. Now we’re over 60 so I’ve spent time trying to balance hiring, building systems, training, strategizing, marketing, managing and maintenance. I never say no to my bosses and they don’t realize how much I do quietly which is totally my fault. Thanks for the wealth of advice and thoughts in this video. Definitely watching your videos from now on. Great value.
