Comparing the 2022 Corolla hybrid FWD mpg test he did. The outside temp was 17-25 degree Celsius This 2023 Corolla hybrid AWD test. The outside temp was 1 degree Celsius -Colder temp -AWD Hybrids don’t do well in cold temps. That can be a factor of why this MPG test was lower.
I put a deposit on a 2024 Corolla Hybrid SE AWD in January... I have no idea when the car will be allocated to the dealer. Congratulations on the above average fuel economy.
I live in southern Ontario Canada. I bought 2023 Fwd Corolla Hybrid LE in end of February this year. Weather was cold but not extreme cold. I averaged in February and March around 4.9 l/100 km (48 mpg). With warmer weather l am getting below 4 l/100km (around 58/60 mpg), with light footed driving.
I have corolla hybrid touring sports 2019. And for cold climates -5 to -30°C fuel econony (~5.1L/100km) is about the same as in summer time. IF you can drive longer distances. Over 150km. For shorter (under 10km) city driving in cold climate (below -15°C), where engine is always cold and you stop before it warms up fuel economy for me is around 8.3L/100km
One problem with my 2023 Corolla hybrid is the fancy headlights. In the center area directly in front of you are two shadows that stick down into the lit part. The first time I drove the car at night while turning, it literally looked like an animal running across the street directly in front of the car. I jammed on my brakes so I would not hit it. Only to realize it was a defect in the headlight array. My dealer said to me that the lights are not adjustable so just get used to it. Maybe they will fix it in the future. The real problem will be the day an actual animal is running across my path and I ignore it and hit it. This is a real safety problem with this headlight design and get used to it is not a proper response.
Yes, I just got one and noticed it tonight looked like some sort of a huge shadow on the left side of car where I was looking at and took me a few seconds to realize it was the headlights doing it
He said $1.50 per litre I think. 4 litres=1 gallon approx. so closer to $6 per gallon. Gasoline is VERY heavily taxed in most Canadian provinces. Also, a Canadian $ is only worth 80¢ American.

I bought a 2024 Corolla Hybrid LE AWD a couple of weeks ago. So the two week mileage on mine is 4.7 L/100 KM. I am getting about 850 KM per tank.

not sure if you have access to Nissan Kicks e-Power, but in terms of fuel economy, is Toyota Corolla Hybrid better?

I am in Ontario and 2 months ago got an identical Corolla Hybrid AWD same colour too and my total average fuel consumption is exactly the same.
I live in Ontario too.
I own LE (no AWD) version.
After 3 months of usage, my total average fuel consumption from beginning is 4.4 liters / 100 km
If you don't mind me asking.
1. What was the out-the-door price including taxes?
2. How long did you have to wait for your vehicle?
This or the ecodiesel is more efficient?
hybrid are money savers, especially the corolla and prius.
Can I please ask how is your hybrid doing in extreme cold weather? Thanks. I’m moving to Midwest (up north) I really want to get a hybrid

New AWD models use more gas than the FWD base models
Good Morning

@@ivanidread oh ok, I got confused thanks
Can’t find new hybrids here and used are overpriced.
I did the math, worth the price with the costs you’d be spending on fuel otherwise
Please get rid of the computerized voice
5.1L per 100km? I think this is high.
Probably because of winter
2022 model has better mileage on freeway
no need for the computerized voice … i stopped watching when it came om
