- I just turned over 100 000 miles on my Toyota Corolla Hybrid
I own it more than 3 years
Many of you knows that Toyota is very reliable car. But not many of you know that in 2023 Toyota Corolla Hybrid was named Most Reliable Car in US and most Affordable Hybrid in US With a starting price of $22,800

Toyota knows how to build hybrid cars. The fact that millions of them are now on the road is enough
to prove they are #1 for hybrids. We have 2 hybrids, a 2022 RAV 4 Prime (plug in ) and a 2020 Highlander Hybrid model LE AWD. My wife and I purchased a new 2010 Prius in 2009 and put over 180,000 miles on it.
Three years ago we sold it to a friend who racked up 250,000 miles all on the original traction battery and 12 volt battery as well. A few months ago during a storm a tree fell on the prius in his driveway and it was totaled. He told us the car still started even though it was totaled.
Clear and to the point. Thank you!
Great video. Thank you so much for sharing this. It's so helpful.
Thank you for your video, it helped!
Great video, thank you!
Excellent review. This will be my next car for sure. And this color too.
thanks for the balanced pros and cons...
Solid review!
❤ your car . Great video
Very good to the point review.
great job, bro!
Cool car, video 🔥
Thanks
I love this car
Mine hit 100,000 miles today, 4 years , driving like new no part change at all , oil ,fuel and tyre only
Yours is a 2020?
@@QuickPLFMA 2019
Most definitely the best all around car!
Yes - If every Car would be a Hybrid- the world would be a better Place 🎉
@4.35 i like the part about seamless unnoticeable gear changes.... :) i guess its because its a variator type gearbox that doesnt actually change gears in a tradiotional way.
im at 162,000 miles in my 2020 Corolla Hybrid. Only fluid changes have been done.
How many mile change oil ?
@@sulin422 I did every 5,000miles. The dealer wanted to do 10,000 mile changes. I declined the risk.
What is your highway mpg at 75mph?
@@billgotskillb4308 47 @ 75. 57 in town if your doing it right. Still no break downs at 173000
changing oil every 5000 miles. Excellent! That will keep it running forever.
Every 8000 mile is ok. This good oil ow-20
If Toyota put in better seats this thing would be a road trip monster. I drove one on a 300 mile trip and it was way more fatiguing than it should have been.
You have better seats in GR sport version
Probably the best break down of this car. lol also I think I your front left tire needs air. I’m reading that the factory windshield isn’t very tough so save up 200 to replace that in a couple of years.
it is the best all round car. yes not so comfortable but this is corolla not camry. can get after market seatbacks. perfect for city driving, start and stop hybrid excels.
What tyres did you get for the vehicle
it has been few months but insurance should be able to replace windshield for free only 1 a year tho
What injector cleaning?
You had it only 3.5 years and have over 100k miles on it lol..and its a hybrid too..wow
I have 89k on mine
I had 11th civic 90k only oil and fuild change. Is good car of honda Toyota
what car is next?
Does this Corolla have a nimh or lithium battery? Thanks for the reply
Les dernières Corolla sont au lithium tout comme la dernière génération de YARIs 4
What was your overall MPG? Is your driving mostly highway miles?
I have this car, I manually calculate it, I average 52 mph on my commute. The more highway steady speed driving you do the better the mileage. City driving gets the worst, I don't understand how they say it gets better in the city, it does not.
@living4christ something is wrong with yours lol. I get 60+ mpg in city
@@living4christ
It should get better MPG in the city. That's the point of hybrid. Have you been using the EV mode or did you have it disabled?
@@living4christEV mode works in the city when more brakes are applied, brake regenerate electricity for batteries and thus makes it fuel efficient.
Who cares about the beauty covers for the engine. They serve no purpose but to make the engine look pretty.
What about gearbox oil?
he dont now about gearbox😂😂
If you want better Toyota buy Lexus... Toyota is simply the best for me
What year is your Corolla hybrid ? So far you haven’t had a brake job yet ?
I was wondering the same. Brake service supposed to be taken every 20K.
@@AbidAli-bo8svnot on a hybrid
Solid video! 100K miles in 3 years is no joke. You seem really miserable and sad though -- are you doing OK?
lol
He drives 🚗 a Toyota... He is ok 👍 😂
It's not a car to get fun or to be happy. It's a car to help you and make things easier in your miserable life :P
@@danielrdm 😂
YES The seats 💺 are terribly uncomfortable...(Front and the Rear - Especially on long trips) Dont get this because the Corolla is such a mile eating Monster 👻 And Toyota should have some expertise in seating... Noisy yes those are the 2 mayor disadvantages other than that Toyota 4 ever ❤
Seats in 11th gen were better.
Just a new car, bij 500.000. Try again 😉
It’s a good economic deal but not so comfortable one
This car is worth the money
The last time I bought a car was in 1999. I have a 1999 Toyota Camry - 400K miles. I wonder the Corolla is the car for me? There is nothing wrong with the Camry, but I like the Corolla, Would I be better off with a Camry hybrid? By the way my '99 Camry is a 6 with a manual trans. I've never owned an automatic transmission car.
Camry has better seats, large room and better suspension. You won't get V6 in 2024 models.
