    15-18 GT PP1 manual or auto depending on what you like. It comes with the chassis bracing and tuning, Brembo brakes, and wheels and tires. That’s the best starting foundation.

    i have to agree that the "MACH1"may be the best handling option(since the 350 is gone)...it just needs the same power level as the 350.

      That 5.2L FP sounds amazing, but I ill keep my Mach's torque on my home track of Mid Ohio (Club config. same Tremec). The 350 might get me down the back straight but from turn 7 (club) all the way to the front straight he will be fighting like hell without those revs. Most of that part of the track is 3rd except for Thunder Valley with a stint in 4th to the entry of the Carousel. I haven't had the chance to go up against a 350 at Mid Ohio yet but I am looking forward to it!! '22 FJG Mach 1 Tremec N0426 + EVERYTHING Steeda makes for the suspension. If I was going to track another Mustang is would be a HP EcoBoost Manual.

    Like you said, best bang for the buck depends on one's budget and purpose. For me it was the GT with the pp1 option. I have all the bells and whistles including magna ride and the 10R80 automatic. Then I added Steeda's lowering, and stop the hop kit. I've done the resonator delete and a Roush X pipe, and a JLT catch can. Next up is a cold air intake and E85 tune. I think I'll do a 500 hood to extract that heat better then we'll see from there. Sorry I got long winded but you got me going. Great video guys.

    • @bardstables8909
      @bardstables8909 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Uknown2445 most I've talked to like the open air design. One guy I interviewed on my channel swore by it. But yes the Temps will go up, on the other hand the increased air flow more than offsets the rise in temperature. In the end it's all personal preference. If I don't like it I'll still have my stock closed design that I can go back to in a worst case scenario.

    I got a 19 premium GT and modified the suspension with Steeda parts. It goes to the car shows and wows with visual mods, then gets driven on road courses for fun. The suspension works well with the progressive rate lowering springs for every day and is predictable when cornering. Everyone has their opinion on what they want for their car. I wanted a car that can do a little of everything while not being too extreme to drive every day if I want to.

    I bought my 20 Mustang GT Premium Track Pack 1 with manual new in January and it does everything I want it to do. It handles every bit as well as my 00 Bmw 328 Sport Pack did. It is a great car to build on (my 12 Gt Premium that I still have can use a lot of building, it has 19" square 245/45's but is not a track pack and was really let down when I bought that new. With the non indy rear end, it didn't come close to the Bmw handling, when my son takes the reigns of that one, maybe he will do some suspension and engine tuning). On my new car I would like to go up to the Track Pack 2 wheels and tires and maybe get a little more out of that and then look into suspension mods.

    V6 is the best bang for buck 100%. Lighter than the Ecoboost, handles better, with bolt-ons and tune can make 350hp linear as opposed to turbo'd, and if you DIY turbo it you can spend under $3-4k and be making much more reliable power, around 550-600whp safely on stock motor. And best of all the head gaskets don't blow on a completely stock low mileage motor (like the Ecoboost does.) With all that considered, The V6 can also be found cheaper at comparable mileage to the ecoboost

    • @MisterJ.J.
      @MisterJ.J. 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      It does not have a turbo kit, it has a steeda handling kit, performance pack, plus cold air intake, computer tune, and catback exhaust. The EcoBoost with steeda suspension and bolt on naturally aspirated power upgrades is much lighter in the front end making them out handle/corner the stock big boys.

    • @bradleyisfishing
      @bradleyisfishing 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It beats them on a road course like a Miata does. It handles better in the corners, but falls down in the straights by comparison. It’s strange that they are only making that power with those mods, since a similarly done ecoboost with a 93 tune should be low 300’s wheel, and running e30 should be 350+

      @steedaautosports  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Don’t buy a FOUR cylinder car. They will burn up due to the rpm’s it runs at. You can turbo charge a small engine and expect it to last. The turbo takes time to kick in and it runs hot which means it will burn out faster and use oil. He forgot about the V6 2015-2017 mustang which is the best bang for the buck it gets 32 miles to the gallon and it will destroy a 4 cylinders

      @@walteranderson5090 i get this question a lot and their is so many answer but it comes down to the fact that if i fixed it it was more than likely going to happen again because this evap defect affects so many ford products, now when i bought this car new i was already worried about reliability being that all ive had was japanese vehicles, so when this happened i figured it was just gonna get worse also the did not meet my expectations for fun and sportiness it was a boat even with 3k worth of suspensions mods, when i was able to sell the car for only 3k under what i bought it for i jumped on it! Am now a proud owner of the best sport car i could buy for
      My budget that i know is reliable Mazda miata.

      @@gigi9467 ok. I had a 2018. No problems with anything. Sold it, my mistake.
      I've ordered a 2022. Fingers crossed no issues ahead.
      Safe motoring.

      @@walteranderson5090 yea, looking back i should of bought the camaro not cuz i think it would of been more reliable but cuz it is a better sport car
      Than the mustang and the way i was using my mustang would of fit perfectly cuz it was only used for werkends and track, i considered it before buying the miata but the dact that it is more than likely
      Going to get discontinued and still worried about the reliability held me back from pulling the trigger. Have fun and good luck

    If you’re going to buy an eco boost just don’t buy a mustang period lol

      We actually use an EcoBoost as our autocross and some track use car with it outperforming many higher-priced cars. -Sam
