      I agree they keep us fighting with each other when we should be working toward changing the system. But the system is complicated and powerful and the people are divided well. This makes it tough to identify the source of the problem let alone find a dependable solution.

    I think Jordan Peterson made a really interesting point about gay marriage, that it should be accepted so that the couples that arise from it are given an opportunity to have normal familial lives, because it will happen.
    I do agree with anti prophet about how this gender rhetoric is pretty much a distraction. People starve, people get diseased, and here we are complaining about this abstract topic of what gender identity. At the risk of sounding condescending, it really is based off what is in your pants. If someone wants to transition, more power to you. If that is what makes you happy in not just a hedonistic sense, live as whoever you want to be. That’s not unprecedented, Papua New Guinean tribes have been observed to do something similar and the Chinese at one point saw homosexuality as normal (with perhaps the caveat of still needing to have children).
    Beyond this, it’s drivel. In the midst of economic turmoil, starvation, and war, of all things the media focuses on the personal identities of people rather than their suffering.

    • @stupidchatpodcast4599
      @stupidchatpodcast4599 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      it's all a cover-up. Haven't you noticed everytime a disaster happens, there's always some controversial bullshit that comes in from left field out of the blue just before or during or after that?
      Here we sit, bickering about how many theoretical bullshit genders exist, do black lives matter, whether trans men are women, should children be able to decide on sex changes, what's politically correct, and stopping oil while the fucking world burns, literally. China threatens Taiwan, everyone knows this, but what about the civil war in Indonesia, or the war crimes being committed by Indonesia, How long the Ukraine conflict actually lasted, What about the riots that nearly dismantled South Africa entirely, there's a LOT that people dont know about the world and yet they can list 200 genders.

    • @pedromlopes12
      @pedromlopes12 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Completely agree.
      Anyone should be allowed to do whatever they please, as long as it doesn't harm some other else.
      The problem perhaps is in people's conscience, that many times fail to think accurately.
      Also, the world has evolved so fast since the leap of millennium that I see people in they're 50's and above struggle more to understand information, technology and the way the world is taking.
      So if the people in control are wealth and wealth people in majority are aged, we have a shock between younger people with risky visions and ideas (that may or not become successful), but are the future of the ones who will rule the world.

      I would seperate homosexuality & gender identity. One is legit, & rightfully has been cautioned but wrongly has been harshly ended in history, globally. The other, is someone wanting to feel special coming up with silly terms & ridiculous stuff, & pushing harmful stuff onto true gender dysphoric people, not only transgenderism but also the consequences of the deranged LGBTQ claiming ownership of the desperate. I cant feel too bad, the LGBTQ is the enemy & why the homosexuals & gender dysphorics are actually attacked.

    I don't see a need to tie this to Russia. People are perfectly capable of doing goofy, disruptive things to themselves.
    However, one could look elsewhere and see stories that this "family unit" thing as America sells it is relatively new. Therefore, it's not foundational to "making America great". Although, families (broadly) are, by default, what help support a given person and a given society in the happenstance of humans as social, tribal animals. But, if people are purposeful, they could structure things however they want. It takes more will and effort, of course. However, not all families are particularly supportive or beneficial compared with "chosen" families, and trying to make the natural family work because "you're supposed to" might just be a waste of more time and effort.
    Lastly, if people want to sell the propaganda of freedom and personal pursuit of happiness ... well, you created your own problem. Pick which things you value. Can't complain about both. You want to enable "freedom" as the top value, accept the consequences and subordinate your other values to it and realize you have done so. Others get to do as they see fit for themselves. (Although, that is distinctly different from this person telling you what pronouns you will use to refer to them. (There are far better ways to resolve that "pronoun" problem, too.))
    On the other hand, you want to pick a particular cultural dictatorship? Then recognize that, and stop whining about "American greatness" because of "freedom". Or recognize that if the family unit is so strong, then prove it by competition, not legal or broader cultural dictatorship, and also not by petty exclusionary behavior because you don't like how someone else is in some way that doesn't actually step on your toes. Also, know that if you want your Shariyah equivalent here, I'm not with you. Go make that elsewhere. That's a different ideal then the Enlightenment principles that guided the structuring of this nation's laws (and subsequently culture).

    The whole idea of a non-binary gender presumes that gender is somehow an experience rather than something predetermined by the brain, chromosomes and body. The spreading of the idea that gender is an experience just promotes social stereotypes. The only gender diverse groups with biological proof of their truth are those that are intersex (having reproductive organs that don't quite fit into the binary) and transgender individuals (having a brain that actively recognizes itself to be the opposite sex, as is proven by brain scans and psychological evaluation).
    We never see much biological evidence of people being non-binary. Even in history, you'll see one or two transgender and intersex people who made names for themselves despite a lack of medical resources at the time. The idea of the non-binary gender is obscure since it lacks a foundation, any particular concrete goal, and does not fit into a family unit. On the other hand, taking for example a trans man, he can still be a functioning unit despite lacking the ability to produce sperm by adopting children, having a life-partner, getting a decent job and other duties men are expected to do.
    I myself am a transman and this non-binary spectrum is utter bullsh-t. It won't lead society to any good. However, I doubt the spread of such ideas is being weaponized since it's still a very tiny minority. Gender is not an experience, it's a predetermined factor in life. No matter how I grew up, my brain would still be male and body the opposite. For the majority of the population, their brains, bodies and chromosomes align with either male or female since birth. It's always binary.

    I disagree that this whole sex and gender 'destruction' is inately against regular values of the family unit. There can be homosexual or polyamorous relationships that turn into loving families, but these people are fed a constant narrative that they need to be different and 'queer' for the sake of it. That normal families and regular American people are their antithesis that stand in their way of reaching self actualization. We're not, and if they didn't spend so much time coming after us needlessly abd chasing their own shadows, they would understand we want the best for them.

      First of all, it's genders, not sexualities, sexualities are who you're attracted to (i.e. Homosexuality, heterosexuality). Second of all, it's more of a *re-emergence* prior to Christianity dominating a large amount of the populace, the idea of a third gender wasn't too uncommon, however it still wasn't as common as guys and gals ofcourse.
      For example, we can look toward Mesopotamia, one of the oldest known places within recorded history, certain worshippers of the god Ishtar declared themselfpart of a third gender, although they ended up essentially forced into prostitution iirc. Also several historical Asian cultures having third genders, along with pre-colombus North America.
