    Ryu was an endurance machine. He used to beat all other Korean national team members in mountain running race, which takes about 1 hour.

    I think Ma Long is the greatest player of all time, and yet Ryu Seung Min is probably my favourite player of all time. I liked his style of superb footwork, and his serve was truly fantastic. Very entertaining player overall. I was truly happy when he won the olympics.

    Ma Long, Ryu and Ma Lin is worlds top 10 best players. Difference between Ryu and Ma Lin as penhold- players is that Ryu have better footwork. As former tabletennis player I know that controlling your rocket and your moves is most important, later "read the oppenents moves and tactic" and to be one step before to overwin your opponents tactic of playing is most important. Ma Long is the best player of all and have also succeded in WM and OS tournaments and other big tournaments. China is the best tabletennis country in the world, with around 2 million "elite" tabletennis players. Wonderful tabletennis to watch in this match. ; )

      YoYoLeeLee,
      Nothing to take away from Ryu, if he has the best forehand of all-time, he won't have losing records against most of the Chinese national players. I won't even bother to look up the stats, as for Ryu's winning % against Ma Lin should be around 20%. During the 60s and 70s, there were many pen-holders from Japan and China that were really good with their forehands. Besides, the 38mm balls were faster with higher RPM.

    Ryu certainly shoud improve his shoto. Maybe he could talk with Kaii Yoshida I hope. Actually, he can talk Kaii Yoshida about shoto. In my opinion, Yoshida has the best shoto ever.

    On a first set point (2:42) Ryu clearly touched surface of the table by his right hand (which is not allowed by table tennis rules)

    • @austinemmons2647
      @austinemmons2647 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      anor said it actually is legal, the only part of the body that legally is not allowed to touch the table is the free hand/arm, or if you accidentally move the table. Otherwise, you can practically stand on the table if you wanted to

      太夸张了……韩国已经有两位奥运会男单冠军了,早在江陈时代的刘南奎,金浣就是劲敌,双子星时代有棋逢对手的无冕之王金泽洙,二王一马时代朱吴柳三驾马车从始至终都是不小的威胁,也就是三剑客时代初期才出现些许颓势,可以说是一路都在跟中国队较着劲
      而且柳跟许昕的风格相去甚远,一个是力争前三板的传统直拍,一个是主动退台相持的另类直拍,完全不可相提并论
