Lin Gaoyuan's choke is an even greater achievement than Ma Long's championship. To play the best tournament of your life and completely sweep the first 3 games of the final against the table tennis god and still end up losing is orders of magnitude more difficult that actually being the champion 😂
No, he did a great job this time. Compared with Wang Chuqin 0-4, Lin had already fought to the deciding game. With Long's tactics Lin couldn't find a good way to attack which made so many misses.
@@MrFreezebook21 yeah he did a great job, especially in the first three games. Then lost four in a row. That's called choking. Whether it was because ML pulled an amazing feat or whatever else, that is exactly what a choke is. In any case wtf does Wang Chuqin have to do with it anyway. He lost badly to ML, we all know it, so what? That's completely unrelated to Lin Gaoyuan playing a great game (really a great tournament) and choking in the end.

@@dgv646 he didn't choke. ML just did ml stuff, nothing LGY could've done. It's not like LGY suddenly play bad after the 3rd set. ML just completely yolo and change strat.
@@kayflock4134 I totally agree, ML absolutely did the right move with his serve strategy change but it was 3-0. LG absolutely choked. See it however you want, of course with all due credit to ML, but LG choked. Those two things are not mutually exclusive.
@@dgv646 LGY the king of choke i guess LOLOLOL. That said i felt LGY isn't the choke job like he used to, he matured quite a bit already. ML is ML, he does wacky shit and yolo and pull rabbit out of the hat whenever.
Do you remember the finals between ML and LJK? he decide to use red on fh mid match when he down 0-2 1-6 or something, then came back 3:2 but ultimately lost 3:4 against LJK.
You give ma long your little finger, he takes your whole country .... 0-3 and 1-5 behind to winning 4-3.....
