Not gonna lie, your previous work was amazing but looks like a maze (and getting all the info was hard for me that English isn't my first language). This one kept the efficiency but looks way more minimal! Congrats to you
@@coolermaster no change to the K1 except for the pump....it may just be the different flow and the lower power setting. If I crank the pump up it completely becomes full looking.
Just recently bought a 210 mega overflow aquon tank and deciding on sump setup, what gallon sump do you recommend to get for biological, mechanical filtration , and what size return pump, would also like it to be big enough for backflow if power was to go out to prevent flooding over. Thanks, great setup you have
When it comes to sumps I always recommend going the biggest you can. I use a Trigger Sapphire 44 sump on my 210. If I were to do a DIY sump on this tank (the only one I didn’t), I would use a 75 gallon tank, which would be a much more cost effective route.
This is an absolutely gorgeous set up. I am currently in the process of setting up a 240 for my Africans. My question is - in your K1 chamber you now have some kind of blue media circulating in there, what is it?
@@Jetblink619 oh rite what is your ph ? I started useing buffer as my tap water out of tap is 7 and fish seem to be bit more colourful but few seem to be flashing on substrate??
Beautifully done 👌🤘

stronger, faster, better :) time will tell. Awesome plumbing and work though!

👍
Only you can make neat even neater. It looks great under there. Congratulations on the 1k subs.
Haha, I aim to please!
Thank you!
Absolutely stunning!!! Simply a Work of art!!! 😎💪🏼
I love your work!
Thanks! 😁
That's sick! nice to see the upgrade after watchin your other reef tank vid and you talking about doin it to the Cichlid tanks. beautiful set up!!
Thanks man! I had the extra PVC so might as well put it to good use!
even the UV is gray now :) good job man
Haha....yeah I just couldn’t leave it white lol
@@Jetblink619 I wouldn't either haha I'm considering painting my black uv sterilizer now lol
also why do you seem to have fewer k1 now in the chamber compared to before?

New to this sump thing..how do you have the water coming from the tank? Overflow box?
This tank came “reef ready”, there is an internal overflow box in each back corner
@@Jetblink619 Thank you! Awesome set ups

Your sump is very awesome!!!
I would like to fixed my sump like you.but My Fish tank is only 36”
Hi awesome setup do you do weekly water changes? What are your nirates like 5-10ppm? Or higher
Thanks. Auto water change system....as shown in the video.
Those check valves are the best! Where'd you hide your heater?
They certainly are. I have an 800W heater in them one of the corner overflow boxes
I like your new sump and equipment but what I like more is that you reduced the amount of fish in your tank.

Thank you. The blue in the K1 is pieces of poret foam. I no longer use K1 media in any of my tanks, check out my latest sump vid.
beautiful tank and sump!! what size is the pvc plumbing?
Thank you. 1 1/4”
Amazing. How much will it cost for sump only? Including all the system installed there.
Looks awesome, what drain method do you use ? Herbie ? also, your UV is it always on ?
Dual Durso overflow
UV remains on at all times
Thank you
Amazing job! Really beautiful setup! Did you build the stand and canopy yourself too?
Thanks! Yes I built everything you see but the glass tank itself.
When you move from useing buffer to no buffer how did you do it sudden change in ph not bad ??
I don’t use buffer.....ever.
