How it just appears in boss chests is really really lame. Especially for a Deadric quest. Meridia might as well throw the beacon herself at you as soon as you reach lvl 12.

@@connectthecut most likely not. I had to do a lot of cheesing in the early game to get my hand-to-hand up, but what makes it so fun is this. At high level, you sneak behind an enemy, crit them with a punch, and they drop to the ground, then just punch them to death as they a knocked down. It works with multiple enemies too, once your sneak is high enough. Think of all the none-magic combat skills, hand-to-hand is the most broken one in high level, because it allows you to control the battlefield completely

Think i did that many times, and then add in a lot of save-scumming because i would get attacked on low health when resting some times. :D But through hard effort, i eventually got my hand-to-hand up enougth, to be usefull. The hard part is always getting your skill rolling.
While visiting my brother recently and playing on his Xbox I discovered that Morrowind is on the game pass and I absolutely downloaded it and played it, absolutely still holds up I almost got my shit kicked in by a fucking rat. You kids and your Dark Souls you'll learn what it's like to stand in front of an enemy swing 15 times in a row and have the game look you dead in the eyes and tell you "you missed"
@@diegokaqui60 How are you going to talk about combat and bring up Skyrim lol. It's worse than Morrowind. Morrowind you only miss in the first like 5 levels which go by quick. The missing thing isn't actually a problem and anyone who complains about it either hasnt played the game passed the first couple levels or didn't know how to. But Skyrim's combat is just dogshit spamming the same things since it has like 10 spells, half of which are the same spell but a different color. And the melee is floaty and boring. Or you're going stealth with braindead AI that makes stealth boring. The combat is the worst part of that game. And worse than most games. Enchants are boring and you can do barely anything with it except break it, so the modifiers to combat suck too.
Hate to tell you, but Skyrim is definitely the worst ES game. When spell crafting came and went in a single game, I knew it was all downhill from there. But we get it. I have a special place for my first RPGs too, but for me, that's Legend of Dragoon, for you skyrim. I got no hate, just facts.

Now while I do love morrowind, I have to disagree with Dagoth Ur about item placement. In morrowind I would spend hours trying to place a dagger neatly on a bed side table. Part of that is my obsession with symmetry, but part of that is the game.

Hand-to-hand combined with Sneak in morrowind is amazing once you get it high up in skill. One of my most fun playthroughs in high level.
