Just picked up a 2024 Titan Pro4x in February. Didn't have the financing special but was able to get $14,500 off the price. I plan on keeping the truck a long time so this was a no brainer. Turbo V6's, hybrid system, cylinder deactivation, engine start/stop, and massive screen that controls every function all equal complexity that will likely have problems in the long term. This has a plain V8, physical controls, 5/50,000 10/100,000 warranty, and none of that added complexity. Will it get good gas mileage? No, but I consider that the price to pay for reliability and lack of complexity.

Bought a 2024 Titan Pro4X today. Loved the V8, no start / stop, great exhaust sound, heated and cooled seats, heated steering wheel, panoramic sunroof! More features I am sure. Traded my 2012 Toyota Tundra, which has been a great truck, but needed an update with more safety features etc. Nissan fits the bill. Also, I have owned two Nissan Altimas (2018 and 2022) and they have been excellent cars. Great engine (4 cylinder) and the CVT transmission in the 2022 has “shift points” so feels like a geared transmission. If you did not know it has a CVT, you would not know. Overall, looking to many years of enjoyable driving with the TItan.

Picked up my 2023 Pro4X last December. Just went on a 3K mile trip to Montana and the truck was flawless. It was so comfortable and easy to drive. Highways in Utah and Montana have 85 MPH speed limits, I would set the cruise about 4 MPH above the speed limit and let the adaptive cruise take care of the rest. Even at these speeds, I average just under 20 MPG for the entire trip, granted I was not towing anything.

It was hard to put it down to one single thing, but the Titan just FELT really nice to drive. Pedal feel, steering, sound insulation, V8 rumble, suspension and ride quality, maneuverability, quality of interior finish, overall aesthetics...it's just a really nice truck. There's always been a part of me that thought maybe I should've got the Titan, but I was already paying for the Ram. I've had 2 Nissans. A 2007 frontier, best truck I've ever owned. Got a 2013 Rogue for my wife. 100k on each, zero issues. Traded both in for life reasons. Currently have a 14 F150 fx4 coyote. No mechanical issues except a water pump I replaced at 112k. Various electrical issues, I'm done with it. My Nissan dealer has a 2024 Titan Pro4x loaded for 51k. Like every available option. Think I'm going there instead of Ram Rebel, read too many complaints on their electronics to trust Ram.

I've seen a couple Titans at reasonable used prices, just reasonable enough for me to afford. However, I am not after a full-size and I'm not as comfortable with a stalk shifter on the steering wheel as I am with a center column shifter like the Frontier has. (Also doesn't help the one Titan is a 2019 and those have had electrical issues in the past couple years, though that also means a fix by now). For those who do get a Titan, I hope you enjoy it because it is indeed a very good truck. Maybe one day years and years from now I'll wax nostalgic and hunt down one from somebody, but until then, I've got my eyes on the Frontier.
Oh, and thank you very much for adding an outro, Ben.

I bought a new 2018 Titan 4x4 Crew Cab. Never had a single thing that needed repairing, but there was 1 quirky thing about the 7 speed auto that I didn't like. At highway speeds (65-80), slight inclines that you would think would need a 1 or 2 gear drop, would illicit a 3 gear drop, all at once. It'd go from 7'th to 4'th, and the tach would jump from the upper 2k range to the mid 5k range. I traded it for a like optioned Ford in 2021, but went with the 2.7 twin turbo and 10 speed auto. It's been trouble free as well.

I bought 1 and got rid of it, everything seemed somewhat of an afterthought and it needed a few upgrades from Nissan.
    1. Clutch fan is mechanical and huge, towing on the mountains when the fan came on it took away like 100hp 😂 thing was a dog.
2.the truck doesn’t know there’s a trailer plugged into it, every time you put the truck in reverse you have to shut off the Parking aid button. Not once not twice but every time you switch it from drive to park if you forget the thing beeps and brakes every second.
    3.the radio started bugging out
    4. Front shocks started to clunk 39k
    5. A vibration appeared and no one could figure it out
    6. Left wheel bearing went out
    7. Left upper ball joint went out
    8. Clutch fan went out
    9. 26 gallon tank towing got me 170-200 miles
    10. If it wasn’t for the vibration driving me nuts, I’d still have it. But I’m back in my 2017 F150 with 170k miles and all I’ve done is brakes, oil changes and front wheel bearings.
Traded the Titan in at 39k miles and never looked back.

@@upshifter5316 that’s the reason I snagged one up, no stop start, no cylinder deactivation, simplicity. Used to be cylinder 7 only but when I was at my dealership they had one getting a new engine at 60k 5 out of the 8 cylinders were scored.
