I have a 2018 Nissan Titan SV that I use mostly to carry my dogs and clients' dogs in a dog box in the truck bed. Very reliable truck and no issues since I service it whenever it's needed. It's at 102K miles so far... I'm definitely gonna get a 2024 Titan since it's the last one.
I'm considering moving from a suv to a titan. How's the dogs in the bed going? Seems OK? I'm in a 4 seasons state, so I'm somewhat hesitant on this concept.
@@uploadtime1780Sorry for the late reply It entirely depends on the crate/box you get for your dogs. Mine is an aluminum dog box, it's fine as long as I don't leave it in the sun during the summer but I'd recommend getting a aluminet sun shade blanket
@gerardoakseltellez Gey no issues. I understand it's a generous gesture to reply to a complete stranger. Thanks, and it is much appreciated. I did grab a Titan, so we will see how that goes next year. I'll keep this blanket in mind as well. Thanks again, all the best.
I did the same thing. Bought my 2021 for a tow vehicle for my RV. Thoroughly enjoyed everything about it, so when they announced the end in 2024, I traded for a new one. I upgraded from the SV to the Platinum Reserve. A Ford or Ram with the same features would have been 15k more!
Best truck I've ever owned. Love my 2018. Would buy another for sure. They need to keep it going. 5yr 100k Mile B2B warranty. I never needed mine, but it was nice to know I had it. Now they're also offering 0% for 60M financing on em...Crazy good deal. Crazy good truck.
I’m hearing that Nissan understates the Titan’s real-world, practical towing capacity and the competition is overstating theirs. And whether we like it or not, this makes sense.
Cool review man! I’m going to miss the Titans. I have a 2018 with 90,000 miles. Not a single issue with it. Just routine maintenance and service. These trucks are terrific! It’s sad that more consumers simply didn’t give them a chance.
Oh by the way that neat little lockable out board storage bin on the lower driver side rear rocker panel was created as a F Series option way back in 1973
It’s honestly crazy that it isn’t the performance or durability that killed the titan, but rather that people don’t know fuck all about trucks and choose more expensive shittier options.
Click the transmission into ‘Manual’ by selecting any numeric gear, rather than ‘Drive’ and you’ll see better acceleration and higher RPM before shifts.
I had a 2005 Nissan Titan SE sold it 3 months ago 363K miles the only issue I had was the axle seal other than that everything worked. I’m looking to buy another truck , was looking at the 6.2 gmc but I heard it has a lot of issues. I don’t like the F150 just because it has twin turbo. Just more things that can go wrong
just get these last new ones. I still have my 06 with over 260k miles. The only thing it needs fixing are the manifold and cat integrated system which is a known issue for 1st gen.
hopefully with the Honda Nissan merger we will see this back in 2026. I don't care if it says Honda on it as long as it's the same frame, engine and transmission..
I have a 2018 titan xd 5.6 67000miles catalytic converters went bad $5400 defects now 69000 have tick in motor they say #7 cylinder is bad. Have an extended warranty they are using all kinds of excuses not to warranty the motor.
What a great looking truck! So sad that Nissan has their heads up their butts. Don't they know how great this truck is compared to the new Toyota and overpriced Turbo nonsense from the big three? C'mon.... The Titan really IS the last of it's breed. Crazy decision on Nissan's part, but then again... the Titan is a truck for people that KNOW trucks. Few and far between.

I got a 100000 miles on it with that 9 speed transmission while it brand new in 2021 .
@@scottmendoza8989 That may have been the case for you but a simple google search shows that this is an ongoing issue with titans and frontiers and that it does not solve the issue for everyone. Some people have it flashed with no difference some people have to get new transmissions only to have it happen again. Also it would only start acting up once it got good and warmed up in stop and go traffic and the dealership tech could not replicate it because they will not drive in stop and go traffic and get it warmed up.
