@@PhastekPerformance my check engine light came on and also flutter from the turbo.the next day I Tom it off the car and reinstalled it now the flutter is gone the car runs real smoothly and the check engine light is off is that normal and what could’ve caused that to happen everything seemed to be installed properly?
I installed a GFB Diverter Valve + on my 2013 Cadillac ATS Performance 2.0T two months ago and it really made a difference. I've had no problems with it nor have I had a CEL go on. Has made my engine much more responsive especially when changing gears. Was well worth the money for me.
@@brianhouts Hi Brian. Mine is an Auto. I have had zero issues with mine since installation except for...better performance. LOL I've have had no negative issues with the shifting or shift points when driving, just seems to give it more "git up and go". At least that's my "feel" when driving around after installation. I don't have an scientific "proof" as some people seem to want in order to justify their purchase and I don't race mine at a strip so have no clue as to whether it increases 1/4 mile times and what not. But if you want an easy to install (for me it was anyway) after market part that you can enjoy a better "feel" after installing, I don't think you can go wrong with this. It's still an improved part over the stock diverter valve. Good luck and have fun!
@@allcars7944 my fault I thought this was a comment on the intercooler. The diverter valve is a must have. The stock BPV is ok but this one is so much better. It lets out what’s needed then gets right back on boost. With a automatic it seems that the stock BPV stays open when casual acceleration and shifting through the gears. This one does not dump boost like that. It’s hard to explain. Just know you won’t be disappointed with buying it lol

This kit was designed to retain as much of the boost in the system as possible, so it could make the car feel faster by responding faster then normal. This will not effect shifting.

I have an obd2 reader and I just clear the code but it comes back after 1-2 days, sometimes within the same day. I just keep on clearing the same code for months but got tired of it so I just let the check engine light on. Today, I reseated the electrical harness to see if that will solve the issue (as other forums solved the problem for them. I'll see how it goes.

I got a check light engine after installing. I've made sure everything was tight and installed properly. Any ideas why? I'm currently resetting the check light engine to see if it re reads it normally but not sure what to do after besides uninstalling it
Unfortunately the sound did not come out that great when we tried to get that on video. You do hear the valve open but there is also a lot of engine noise that cancels out the valve.
So I just installed the part and my car won’t do that auto remote start? I plugged everything back in the just the same. Have you guys had this problem?
We did not run into that issue. I would suggest that you clear the engine code if you have one, the auto start should work from there but if the code comes back then you might need to double check the installation to ensure everything is plugged in correctly.
Picking up the sound this kit made was difficult to capture on video. There were more engine noises that were picked up rather then the noise from the kit.

It came on once I was getting the pronounced “fluttering turbo” sound. Before that it was just the BOV sound when it was dumping now it flutters. Ironically MPG has increased since it came on though 🤔

That could have been just a little hickup with the ECU. I would suggest double checking the install to make sure everything is in order and tight. Then clear the codes and see if they come back.
You will 110% get a CEL without a tune. The ECM is tuned for dumping and calculating AF ratios and unused boost. ECM is not tuned to recirculate unused boost. You all are dishonest AF.
We have not experienced any check engine light issue with this kit. The only issues that we have come across have been installation error, once corrected the kit works as intended. If you have experienced any issues, please reach out to us or the manufacturer and we will do the best we can to see if we can find an issue.

I've been running mine for three years, never thrown a code and not had to tune it. Tune has nothing to do with the way this device operates. Go back to mechanic school.

This diverter holds the excess boost so the next time you gen on the throttle it throws a lean mixture code BECAUSE THE ECM ISNT TUNED for the stored boost you fking 🤡

It will work for the Cruze 1.4T and Malibu 1.5T and 2.0T

BS. Your cars factory tune is set up to calculate the unused boost dump. That calculation needs to be removed from the tune with a new tune.

Installed it and was ok, a week later I’m getting a 2261 code. Gonna take out and see if code once cleared stays off. And examine diverter valve.
This is Jacfab's invention....He stated you will get this code from time to time...just turn it off.

The factory O-ring does get reused, sorry if we missed that step.

There is a slight sound increase, it is hard to hear but there is a little bit that is noticeable.
That company had all kinds of issues with it when it first came out for the 2.0T Camaro. Did they fix it and get it right?

I have done the research and to tow the car they have to tow it from the bottom no tow hook on the RS 2019 unfortunately

Yes there is an improvement in driving. The throttle response is much better and it seems like the boost kicks in a bit quicker.

Yes, this will work with most any intake system with out any issues.

This diverter valve. It has made the drive a whole lot better with the improved throttle response.

Do you know the code for the check engine light? We would suggest to rese the light and see if the code comes back.

Yes, these should work with out any issues on the Cadillac with the LTG.

You need to show mods for the 2014-15 Camaro SS. 14 and 15 seems to get skipped.

Unfortunately the sound did not come out that great when we tried to get that on video. You do hear the valve open but there is also a lot of engine noise that cancels out the valve.

The error code is P2261 “Bypass valve stuck open”

We do not have any sound clips, this kit was not loud enough to capture on camera.

It should not void the entire warranty but we would suggest checking with your servicing dealer since they will be the ones to make the call for this.

Phastek Performance i had the check engine light for while then i drove it for about 1 hour and it went away but the codes i got were p2227 and p2229
