Awesome there is a restaurant that makes baked tomato soup it’s just like French onion; soup croutons on top topped with cheese and browned in oven yum
I’m about 2 months away from using my vanilla extract from your recipe. I have a batch with spiced rum, another with vodka, and a third with bourbon. Can hardly wait at this point
I can no longer enjoy tomato soup any other way! Just popped some sheet trays in the oven 🎉 I made a load of bread yesterday to pair some melty grilled goodness with this delicious soup. Thank you for sharing your recipe!
I spread Brown Spicy Mustard on my bread and use sharp Cheddar & monzerella cheese to make my Grilled Chees Sandwiches. I love your idea for the croutons.
I came from a big Italian family, & this recipe is so similar to ours ❤❤ We make our own tomato soup at the end of the summer, we make it in an outdoor kitchen, then we can it. It’s like a huge ordeal every year lol, we also make & can marinara sauce (we call it Sunday gravy 😂) salsa, & pico, we make all this with what we harvest outta the garden. But your recipe is really good, Nonna always sprinkled just a little bit of sugar in it so that became like our family recipe, although IMO, the tomato soup could go without the sugar lol. But I put my finished grilled cheese squares in an iron skillet & throw them in the oven until they’re very crispy, but everybody probably doesn’t like them crispy like that, but my family does. Sorry for rambling 😂😂 this video made me smile, reminds me of good memories 🥰 Luv this channel, glad I found it ❤ New subscriber ♥️♥️
Looks so good. I have Amish paste tomatoes in my freezer ( from my garden). I’m trying tomorrow for dinner. The sheet pan meal was delicious. Thank you for sharing.
Made on very similar before I seen this recipe..will give it a whirl..I made a few batches and froze. I would imagine this would freeze well also since ingredients are very very similar..
What a wonderful Halloween Slow Food Decadence!!! Your grilled cheese recipe is much better than mine. I must borrow the garlic prep technique. Although am not sure about the coconut milk…but will try it in a separate smaller bowl. This might be my new slow food tradition top with the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Tricks or Treats indeed, thank you for the inspiration my friend.
Hi Kaleb, I hope to reach you or Joel here. I have been watching you for many years. You mentioned other people trying to use your account name on FB. I noticed their are many recipe groups in your name. I don't know if you know about those groups. Or if they even have your permission to have the groups. I think your Brilliant and love your channel. You're so much fun and Joel is great at his filming and and computer skills. Thank you for sharing all your ideas.
I don't have a garden. I think buying so many tomatoes at the store would be cost prohibitive. But I want to make this so much. How many would I need Kaleb? I bet 16 is the number
OK I have searched the Internet and I don’t really find this recipe anywhere so I am going to give it to you: Savory Green tomato pie. Would love for you to try it and share it. You bake 2 deep pie shells at 400 degrees Fahrenheit, until golden and set aside. Heat 3 tablespoons oil in a large skillet and add half an onion chopped. Sauté. Add one clove of chopped garlic. Add 8 cups of sliced green tomatoes (they should be fully green and not ripening at all) to the pan. Stir, cover it and cook, you want it soupy and liquidy. All tomatoes should be soft. Takes a while. Add 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, 2 tablespoons flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Stir till mixed. Spoon into the pie shells . Sprinkle top with grated cheddar cheese as much as you want. Bake about 15 minutes or until they look done. Cool at least five minutes before slicing. I hope you will love this!
What is your Recommendation for a good blender that won’t break the budget I know what they say about Vitamix but who’s got $600 to spend on a Flippin blender
Noooooo I hate soggy bread or anything like it and I was Married to a Scallion for 13 years and I couldn't eat in the same room he dipped his bread in everything 😂 😂 😂
I can smell those roasted aromatics….tomatoes, onion, celery….so nice. Love tomato soup! What a great recipe,

Beautiful way to use up the tomatoes at the end of the gardening season. Outstanding compilation with the addition of the grilled cheese croutons.

Love your presentations. This has got to be the best tomato soup and grilled cheese!
That is my all-time favorite winter meal. I cut my grilled cheese sandwich in the strips and dunk the strips in the soup. It's so good.
I've never been big on tomato soup, probably because it was always Campbells. But, after watching your version, I can't wait to give it a try!

So good! Good comment about using cultured butter…makes a large difference in flavor.

Can you water bath can this to have as a quick meal later
When I went to print the soup recipe it only took me to the grilled cheese. I’m I doing something wrong?
You can find the soup recipe here: www.wyseguide.com/roasted-tomato-soup/
Your wasting the tomato…I’m a gardener and the brown lines are where the tomato split from to much water. It’s perfectly safe to eat
Noooooo I hate soggy bread or anything like it and I was Married to a Scallion for 13 years and I couldn't eat in the same room he dipped his bread in everything 😂 😂 😂
Only could see croutons recipe, no soup, no sandwich
Good soup but Super Ghey
