Way back in the 60's my mom made tomato soup, but we had no blender. Parr boil the 'maters ,skin them , them w/ a potato masher. Then she added whatever was available! BEST SOUP EVER!!!
I love to cook so people can eat. It's fun for myself to make a good meal from scratch and feed others. My in joyment is how much they love to eat, what I cook.

Did I see you pouring the soup from the blender into the plate? That would be lukewarm soup at best, you added cold stock and cream to warm vegetables, blended it and set it to the side while you slowly made the grilled cheese. How could that be good?

Caramelized onion grilled cheese is my favorite, though I usually use a brie for it.
