Looks yummy. I never use a bottom crust on a pot pie. Great instructions on making pie crust. Whoever is behind the camera does an excellent job. You need to give him/her credit sometime.
This looks great. I love a cheddar crust. I also love that you make sure to scoop everything out of the bowl. I watch a lot of cooking videos and nothing is more distracting to me than someone leaving several tablespoons of sauce in a pan. Thank you. ❤❤

This is great! I wish you’d make a video of you make like individual pot pies. A friend of mine really likes the KFC pot pies, except she likes corn in hers too. And her birthday is coming up & she has kids too & they want to make homemade individual pot pies with top & bottom crust like the ones you make with butter, flour & cheese. Can you still make individual pot pies with top & bottom crust with this filling with corn add too or other ingredients and still put in oven at same temperature & time? Other recipes say you need to put foil on top for it to cook properly, but you obviously do not do this & seems like they still can turn out just fine? I’m fixing to go make another squash galette and thinking about also making some ravioli with some of the squash as well! Thank you! Do you have any videos making your own easy to make pasta or ravioli? 🥧🍝🍕👏👏❤🕊💕
Would blind baking the bottom crust make it a little better. I’m guessing it would but truly lack the experience to say for sure. Love to hear from those who know.
I've a li ways used Ina Garten's chicken pot pie recipe. I also used thighs and breasts. However. I roast them bone in and skin on in olive oil, salt, pepper, and rosemary. This results in very moist flavorful chicken (even the breasts are juicy). I'll try this recipe; it looks pretty good.
I'm surprised that no milk was used. I always thought that milk was used in a pot pie. I'm also surprised that there's no bottom crust. I've never had a pot pie with no bottom crust

Can you please also give the dried equivalent of the herbs in your recipes? Many of us don’t have fresh herb options easily at hand.

Just use puff pastry for your top crust. Huge time saver!
You forgot the potatoes. Chicken pot pie needs potatoes! Other than that, it looks delish!
You can use leftover mashed potato on the bottom, or Tater Tots too!
