This kind of offense is extremely serious, and it would be a shame if she couldn't have him suffer financially for putting her in that same position.

I recorded an owner bragging about knowing the health inspector from college when I quit and rightfully called the health department on them. Literally the most disgusting restaurant I’ve ever seen. Like an episode of hoarders. He said the inspector played football with him in school so he had nothing to worry about. I sent the recording to the health department and he posted on social media before the end of the day announcing his restaurant was permanently closed. All because him and his wife couldn’t show even the tiniest shred of respect. The wife threw away my book of hours and wages claiming I was trying to steal from her. They didn’t use a computer. When I asked where she put it, she picked up the trash can and started throwing trash at me asking “is this it? How about this?” I took my stuff off, threw it at her, and walked out saying they would regret this more than anything they’ve ever done. When I make threats like that, I mean it.
This is why I treat co-workers as if they're strangers on the side of the street, not because I don't like people, because I actually don't know them. So many people get the wrong idea so fast, you start working out of new place and suddenly all the co-workers think they can mess with you like you're their friend, yet you've only known them for a few days.... It's just a little bit ridiculous that people, that deep down know they're strangers, act as if they're not. It tends to get me and lots of trouble because people will try to 'mess with me' in a playful manner, and then I have to tell them that every time they mess with me they're messing with my paycheck, so it isn't as innocent and playful as they're making it out to be. But apparently I'm the butthole in that situation, you know the guy that doesn't mess with people and is civil, apparently he's the butthole because he doesn't like it when rando's he doesn't know the names of, mess with his productivity and almost get him in trouble.
