I live in Canada and have a 2020 Ram Sport. It looks sooooo much better with blacked out decals and it comes with 22” rims and is almost fully loaded! Plus it’s cheaper then the U.S models! Score one for Canada!!!!
Just bought a used 2021 Laramie sport just like this one except mine has the sunroof and a the bed liner, and it's the granite color.
Truck is amazing so far. And super comfortable.

That combo seems impossible to find. The off road package on the Larime with L2 and Night strikes the best overall balance for me and it’s what I’m looking for

I have 2021 Laramie sport. I love it! I also love the fact that the badging isn't blacked out.
The Sport hood never went away. The Laramie Sport package includes the Sport hood. The Big Horn Sport package does not. In Canada, "Sport" is not a package. "Sport" is a model, like "Big Horn" or "Laramie."

It’s not a dodge. Ram became a stand alone company over 10 years ago. Just a Ram 1500 now.
I bought the 2021 Laramie with moon roof. I did a 4 inch front lift. I sprayed on a bed liner. I got the Winkos tint. I jad to purchase the Spark from AT&T because the U connect does not work at all even after i purchased it. Only glitch i have found. That break assist scared the crap out of me when i was backing up! 😂

Ordering a 2022 laramie. Question... if I order the black out package, isn't it the same as the sport package but with details?
The package to get is the Southwest edition that is only sold in Texas.

I don’t know if it’s just me but it sounds like the sport 5.7 is different than other trims like the big horn or limited.

Agreed on the badging. I like that the sport has the body color accents because it sets it apart from the hideous chrome accent non-sport trims, but the chrome badges on the sport trim was a mistake. Canada got it right on this one. I had the same issue with ford putting chrome badging and accents on my explorer sport. Like why? Even my door handles were chrome 🤦♂️
Don't painted front bumpers and grilles get lots more stone paint chips than chrome?
Does the sport package come with a leveling kit?
They all have eco mode? Its not new, you just have to enable the indicator light through settings. Also its not just when you're saving fuel, it also indicates when the engine is in MDS or cylinder shutdown. I know its not new because my 2019 sport has it, and I think hemi's all the way back to the late '00s have MDS
Completely agree with the sport package and blacked out badging. Should come standard.
I have a 2014 Laramie CC RAM BOX. I'd love to get a newer one, but the prices have become astronomical.

Do the sports just not come with the 360 camera system or can you get it as an option? I would love the night edition of this truck but I need that 360 camera after seeing it in reviews.

I got the 19 Laramie sport brand new last year and I love the truck. Only regret is I didn’t get the moonroof, but other than that, through 30,000 miles in the year I have had it (yes I drive a lot) I haven’t had any problems.

Luckily we can get the Laramie with the sport appearance package. Although, that way is probably a bit more money.
Ben I agree! I just got my 2021 Ram Big Horn crew sport in olive green Monday and it’s beautiful but all the badging should be blacked out it definitely would look better!!! The chrome badging is a little too out there.......

Got mine for 54k with the exact same everything except not 4x4.. absolutely love the sports appearance package with the hood and the grill and paint updates.. definitely upgraded the exhaust immediately so you can actually hear that Hemi engine. Love this truck so much

@Radford Tataryn I can see that, but I found out later on that the Canadian Sport models get different things in their packages. He never mentioned that this model had the off road package.
What do you think of ride of the sport vs the offroad package. I like the idea of a 1" lift but most driving is on road not off but do tow and go off-road on beach sometimes
They are very similar
Only thing I wish it had is the heads up display and a steering column shifter otherwise very well optioned truck and I don't even like white cars.

Just got my 2023 Canadian Sport and its all blacked out badges inside and out. No chrome anywhwre on the truck and the closest thing inside is dark Smoked chrome

Nice review but a few items I think worth mentioning. Consider custom ordering this from a dealer and you can drive the price down - a lot.
The Sport package is the most economical way to get rid of most of the chrome, get leather seating, get 20" wheels, and the power exterior mirrors. There's a delete option for the Sport hood with the fake plastic air inlets (pathetic) and that saves you $300. But if you don't need max towing capacity, the real savings comes from ordering this in a Quad Cab configuration with the V6 eTorque motor. You'll never see this configuration on the lot anywhere.
RAM charges you an extra $2,850 for the short bed Crew Cab plus another $2,295 for the Hemi - that's over $5K. If you don't have kids or need the larger rear seats, the Quad Cab gets you a real 6' bed but the overall truck length is still 4" shorter than the Crew Cab. And the V6 eTorque option gives you 305 HP and with the $95 optional 3.55 rear axle, you have a max trailer capacity of 7,530 - still pretty decent. Plus fuel economy bumps up 10% from an average 19 with the eTorque Hemi to 21 with the V6. Something to keep in mind with gas moving toward $4/gal in a lot of places.
Eco mode is not new to that truck my 2017 has automatic eco mode

The sport is not actually a package in Canada. Its produced as a sport like a laramie or rebel that you can option up or down etc. We got the sport and you people got the trx LOL. JK its all good

Smooth is a perfectly good word to use for ride quality. What other word would you suggest he use?

He’ll say it’s “Smooth” or “Pretty Smooth.” There’s no context. It’s not about replacing “Smooth” with another word that’s the same, it’s about describing the ride quality in greater detail. Watch 5 of his videos and tell me I’m wrong. I’m trying to help guy with something constructive.
