- In this video, we look at some of the new technology features available in the 2021 Ram 1500. This 2021 Ram has the technology package and I go through the new heads up display, digital camera rearview mirror, off-road pages and talk about the comfort and convenience package now available on the Ram Rebel and Canadian Sport.
There are some other great new features available as well like the trailer reverse steering control, and power-folding trailer tow mirrors with 360 camera but we will do a separate video on those when a truck with them is available to us.

Did this one have the regular halogen headlamp lights or are they the LED? I wish they all came from LED. Looking at a similar Ram right now but it’s the halogen and it doesn’t look as good but it does have the night edition black outs.
Any idea on how much it would cost to get the LED headlights? Searching around I saw one place with the full replacement but it was over $1200! Factory equipped is $995 then I think there are options to just replace the bulbs for $100-$200 but it doesn’t change the housing to the cool full LEDs. It would just replace the bulbs which would definitely help for driving but probably wouldn’t change the aesthetics much. Or perhaps with the night edition does the blacked out lights make it look more streamlined even with it still behind halogen, and perhaps only needing to change the bulbs would be a solid upgrade? Thanks for any guidance.

Hopefully this means they fixed all the electrical problems they were having, I have been wanting one but heard they had many issues.
I am on my 5th Ram since 2009 and had zero issues with any of them. Granted I obviously only had each of them for a few years each before trading for a new one...
Thought the 2021’s were coming with Uconnect 5. Now it doesn’t look that way. What have you heard?

What's up TH-camrs please humor me I'm trying to find out if all 2021 Ram Limited trucks have heads up display. I work OTR just brought one drove it for one day and went back to work. I don't know if I have it or not.
If you put a cap on that truck the camera won't work for the digital rear view mirror.

Mine does the same thing but when they gave me the free wifi trial it goes to searching online. I think is connected to the wifi hotspot in the vehicle which is dumb.

Do you know if the digital rear view mirror can display a camera mounted on the back of a trailer? Or just the 3rd brake light.
its not all new from the 2020 models the only thing new i see is the HUD and the rear view mirror... either way with or without that its a really nice truck

I just bought a 2021 Limited with a 12" display. The manual doesn't say "If equipped", yet I don't have the option to scroll in the Settings menu to it... Boo!

Many of the features you list as new for the 2021 Ram are on my 2013 Ford F-150 - For instance, the two memories for the auto seats.

My 2019 Laramie sport doesnt have a heads up display or a digital rearview. Do not need any of that. I can see the digital speedometer and out the back just fine...but it does have self parking, 360 view, adaptive cruise, 12" screen, 19 speaker, and power steps, just to name a few. These additions are not even beneficial or really a usable feature as mine are, just sayin. Ram doing way to many models

Give the camera operator a kick!! Why try filming you changing settings on the panel from outside instead of being in the back seat where we might actually be able to see what the hell you are doing! Not a good way to show a brilliant vehicle.
Copied everything for GMC, At4 and Denali had these features in 2019

Some GM cars like Corvette have had HUD since 2005 and a rearview mirror display for the backup camera since almost the same period.
@@theflyingfox2602 Even older than that. My 1998 Grand Prix at HUD. I think it either first came on GM in the 97 C5 Vette or one of the Cadillac's around the same time.
Went from a GMC to a Ram a month ago. Do yourself a favor and drive a Ram.... they have stepped up their game. The interior comfort and fit finish is heads and shoulders above the GMC. Not to mention the ride quality is a game changer among other things. Everyone has their preferences but this 5th generation changed my mind about Ram

And when that crap goes bad how much will it cost to fix?! Toyota Tundra maybe basic and lack these luxurious amenities but definitely decreases by far the things that can go wrong, which is why it is THE MOST RELIABLE truck. Tundra over all these fancy trucks any day.
