FYI, you can spec the 2019 RAM 1500 Sport with the 12" infotainment display. I was on RAM's website and did just that.

I just got a 2020 Sport 5.7 V8 with the big 12 inch screen and all the other options, except of the 360 camera, for $69K tax included and 0.99% interest rate. The price tag was $82K before the taxes!!! I’m loving the luxuriously comfortable and quiet ride. It’s easy to forget that you’re actually driving a pick up truck after a bit of cruising! By the way, after the first 800 km of combined city and hwy driving the screen showed 14.5 L/100km, which is definitely not bad for such a beast ;)

I’ve always liked the sport package on 4th gen Ram. You can add a sport appearance package to most or all 5th gen ram packages in US.

I bought this truck. Loved it for a while. Wishing this last year it just doesn’t start intermittently. It’s been to the dealer at least 4 times and they have not been able to determine what the issue it. Wires are properly grounded. Battery is new. It eventually starts and they ask us to come pick it up. The last time we picked it up, we got it home and it hasn’t started again. It’s been over a week. So, we have a beautiful looking truck sitting in our driveway and it’s completely useless. We need to tow back to the dealer and they contact the manufacturer. Not something we imagined we’d be dealing with when we bought this truck.

In Manitoba we have the 2020 Bighorn Sport package called the North Edition. Has a “RAM”
chrome lettering on front and big chrome badge on tailgate. Bumpers blacked out. Tires are 20” Wild Peak snow and mud tires. Off Road Decals. Made for the North, skid plates and all.

I also share your sentiment for the screens. I LOVE the big screen and I find that it is an awesome party trick for new passengers in the truck. But the 8.4 and readily-accessible physical buttons are hard to pass up.
I think that truck looks amazing. I wonder if Ram will have an Express package like last Gen with the black out badges and monochromatic look. Great review, I look forward to more from our new Canadian brother.

Very nice looking truck inside and out. RAM really did a great job. They offer a Black Edition on the Laramie in the USA that looks very much like that but the exterior paint is only in black. The list price I saw with it fully loaded up was 59K and that included another 7K in dealer added custom wheels, 35" tires and a factory optional 2" lift kit. I was very tempted but bought a Ford XLT instead and saved a few bucks.
Want to know what we get that's not sold in Canada same looking thing but dicount..

You can get a Laramie 4x4 with:
-Sport package
-level 1 equipment pack
-Customer prefer pack (off road skidplates )
-3:21 rear end (7,800lb tow rating) no trailer brakes.
In the states for around 54k.
Wheel and deal walk out for 48k.
I'm always curious on vehicles not available everywhere .Ether if it is trim or version like this.
This video is a little misleading. In America you can get the sport appearance package as well as the black sport appearance package in the laramie trim. Virtually identical to this truck. Im sure if you want those huge 22in wheels you can pay extra at your Ram dealer

I just caught that around the 5 min mark, i guess my point is that folks who are unaware of this shouldnt have sit through 5 min of this just to find out that you can in fact get a virtually identical truck in the states. The title is still misleading
Actually on the Ram website they show that you can get all trims with the sport appearance package, so I guess there was no need for a Sport trim anymore.

Awesome vid, Beautiful Truck. I like the new giant touchscreen.... but could never get one, prefer 8.4” touch screen.
Andre had a review a while back with a Ram 1500 4x4 that had a front bench seat, no hump, no floor console .... quick shot of it in the video, 4x4 selector & gear selector on the Dash... looked like you could actually sit 3 wide up in front ... never saw that option again, was it a prototype or a hidden configuration?
Andre tested a Tradesman truck with seating for six , three in the front and three in the back. It’s not a hidden configuration.
The CD player is not weird. Truck buyers are probably the people who are most likely still listening to CDs. Hell, I have dozens of CDs at home with all sorts of music. Glad RAM is still sticking with the old times.
Does Canada get the E-Torque ? I think you can improve up to 3 MPG with that.

Sorry. You are incorrect about no 12” screen in ram sport. At my local dealer in the service dept there is a showroom poster from ram all about the Canada exclusive ram sport about 3 mos ago. It also said you can get the 12” on this poster specifically from FCA. I assume someone told you not available yet as in LATE availability otherwise why would FCA make such a poster pointing out the exact unique features of this Canada only model?
5:40 The 2020 Sport trim does come with the 12" screen as an option.
Excellent review. Definitely agree with the weird... People get in my 19 and immediately comment on the CD player! Also agree with the physical buttons on the dash. The massive screen is a cool looking feature but I took the buttons and the 8.4 for practicality.
Does the Canada exclusive sport model come with LED headlights?

Awesome video. Just a warning to anyone looking to buy one in canada. Be careful with the air ride suspension. I have a 2016 sport which the warranty expired 2 months ago and the air ride is having issues due to cold temps. It causes moisture to get into the system and freezes up. Worst case you will blow/tear a airbag or damage the compressor, or if you are lucky like me, just blow a fuse and require a system purge. Dodge/chrysler knows about this but wont do anything about it (yet). Spent the last couple days looking at a new truck without air ride.
We have milk in bags in Nova Scotia. Mostly old people buy them.
I had a ram sport new in 2012 and loved it, new trucks are getting so expensive now though

The look is starting to grow on me. I also like these headlights more than the thinner squintier headlights of a laramie/longhorn/limited models.

Yes i wld buy a dodge sport package here in the states bc i currently one the avenger from dodge n i really enjoy the ride quality of it n hoping the ram is the same way but i will get it in a v6 engine instead
you could mention tow capacity and weather it comes with an epoxy topped wood grain steering wheel or saddle interior option

Gotta say Alberta beef as well is one of the best things y'all have, had it in Edmonton. Ketchup chips are awesome to! Oh and Tim Horntons!!!!!!! As for the Ram, you can't beat it for what you get.

I lived in the extreme arctic for more than 30 years and only Toyota vehicles could withstand the extreme weather ! Dodge, Chevy, Ford and Nissan all failed . My 1993 Toyota landcruiser 80 series had 500k miles on it when I sold it 9 years ago and I hear it is still running strong to this day ! TOYOTA IS THE MOST DEPENDABLE BRAND PERIOD!!

The Bluetooth is nice, however when you listen to music off of your Bluetooth device sometimes it doesn't have a good quality sound. I'm glad to see that they're actually still is CDs in the Chrysler products. We do have a Jeep Wrangler in our family that does not have a CD player and I am disappointed about that.

Nice, I reside near the Warren plant and I see them every morning on my way to work. Wish the reviewer went in more detail on the interior. Guys if you are a die hard F-150 owner, go to a Dodge ram and sit in a limited...OMG! FCA killed market with this one interior wise. Now for me to trade in my Grand Cherokee I need a 392/6.4 option.

They chose to offer an electric motor to assist the gas engine as an option instead

In Texas WE ARE GETTING BLACK BADGES as an option in the Lonestar Edition.
Just specced one where I live and it comes out to be just under $63k for a 4WD model. I don't particularly need 4WD where I live but it's nice to have if we do, by some chance, have a real winter. If I had the money I'd totally spend it on one of these.
I love my 2018 laramie ED but I can say the 19 is a beautiful truck, I think they smoke everyone else on interiors.
Yep and has been on Wards top 10 list of best interiors since ‘09 that’s impressive.

I got my awesome 4x4 crew cap bighorn 1500 2019 for 36,900.00.
I added ARM Reaserch running boards and USA roll for the bed. Both expensive but really nice.
And the best ! Money can buy so now I'm at 40,900.00 with these added. My Alpine 9 speakers system kicks it!

I think the 12” screen is legit but I am still leaning forward the 8.4 and note buttons. 8.4” was never lacking for me.

The 12 inch screen is tied up with the safety package. Runs the price up by over $7200 USD in a Laramie. Ridiculous.
Drove a 2019 limited today wow are these trucks legit. That 12” screen is very nice and more fitting that I thought it would be. Surprised how nicely packaged even the Big Horn is. No reclining rear seats in the big horn I saw. The reclining, heated and cooled rear seats in the limited were amazing. Very comfortable truck especially fully loaded. Was a bumper to see manuals folding tow mirrors even in a limited. Also a manual tilt/telescoping steering column but I guess that’s just a nick pick. Nice to see a telescoping wheel in Ram finally. Center console is quite excellent. Liked what I saw but not ready to leave my 14’ Ram.

Three recalls, transmission jumps at low speeds. I've always had a ram but getting so tired of always having it at the dealership

it absolutely is an issue. especially in climates with wide temperature variants. Oh, Canada. Small ones are over $1000. Can't amagin what the giant screen cost.

Not about the OS The screens black out. You can't use them. When they get a couple years on them and go through temperature changes. Hot cold hot cold hot cold black screen. And it is NOT just a couple of screens. Many of them do this. People want "tech" much of it is not reliable or maintainable. Not paying 75k for giant headeach.
built this identical (in appearance) truck in the usa for 65-66k. I've used the new "big screen" and it is awesome.. don't doubt there will be many malfunctions and issues with it over the years though.
I just bought a 19 sport in Canada with the big 12” cause bigger is better ! I love this truck and I am a Chevy .But the interior sold me hands-down
