    hey guys this is a correctional exercise routine to fix the protruding jaw.
    The protrusion of the jaw, or so called 'underbite' can be fixed if it is acquired(that it is due to tight muscles in your face and neck, an imbalance of your muscles surrounding the mandible bone). Otherwise in the born or congenital these exercise may not be of help to you. However even in such cases, due to the tendency of the muscular-skeletal structure to move into the accustomed, comfortable direction, some of you with inborn/congenital structure may benefit from these facial exercises, as it is the way with all movements of the body - all beneficial if done the right way(amount, intensity, carefulness.

    You should only move to the extent you feel comfortable and be slow and soft.
    If any pain or discomfort is felt then you have two options : 1. Decrease the intensity to the point you feel refreshed. 2. Rest for a few days and you may start again.

    it really works. i been doing it after a week, i can't see the different yet but i can feel my lower teeth slowly move backward so i can bite normally with my front teeth, if you want to try it please do it slowly but usually, once per-day and please don't do it too often.. my jaw hurt so much after that
    remember nothing is instant, even surgery take times for the recovery, it's better than doing nothing, i can feel my insecurity slowly fades after feeling the result, goodluck guys

    My orthodontist said I had an underbite. I was also having bad jaw alignment and headaches. I have been doing these exercises for a couple of weeks. My jaw alignment is a lot better, and I have much fewer headaches. I will keep doing these exercises and seeing the improvements!

      @@nanahs85 My underbite is partially caused by my teeth shifting. I am now in aligners. However, I will keep doing the exercises because they strengthen the muscles to keep my jaw aligned correctly. Edit: I forgot to add that nail-biting can also cause the teeth to shift, so I will stop biting my nails so my teeth will stay in place.

    Extra tips:
    1. Maintain good posture
    2. Combine this with mewing
    3. Chew your food properly
    4. Do not breath from mouth
    5. Sleep with closed mouth (you can even go as far as taping your mouth)
    Do this in front of mirror so you can see what you're doing, also take a video from the side to check. Good luck!

    7/7/2024: I realized the problem was with the way the teeth grew, not with the upper teeth receding inward. So now I decided to stop, I am gonna get braces.

    This is my main insecurity, if I had a normal chin I would be much more confident. Most of the time I’m just wearing a mask

      @@tsetsegmaatsetsegmaa5268 11 months later n I would say it’s helped js a little but what has helped is maxing out the rest of my face features which makes it less noticeable, but if you want to fix your chin you would most likely need to get a chin filler which is what ima get in the future

      sooo i would suggest you shouln't depend on anyone here and just try it for youself, but i would recommand you *(just as im doing now...)* that you do this exercise for solving your respective maloclussion for at least 2 months to comfirmif is effective and still make plans to make money enough for your maloclussion treatment in the dentist *(for incase it doesnt make changues in these 2 months)* ok?
      so do that!!!! i beleive is better to have a backup plan, a plan B for incase

    Doing this facial exercise does work. It worked for me but don't overdo this exercise cause it will loosen your masseter muscle and TMJ causing a jaw dislocation and making your face uneven
    Note: I learned this the hard way and regret it
    Note: to all of you who are insecure about the way your face look just remember someone got it worse

      @@hooh1749 yes if you're doing this exercise you'll see progress in about 2 weeks just be consistent with it but like I stated don't over do it or your masseter muscle will loosen and because the masseter is the muscle that's hold your jaw together if one side of the masseter on your face snap then your jaw will be left hanging.

    Yall i have a mild underbite and ill be doing this exercise everyday. Im kinda desperate cause I look ugly asf on my side profile lmfao. Its been 1 week today. The first day it really hurted alot when I was doing this exercise. Same for day 2-5. the pain will slowly decrease after a few days. I'll update yall after 1 month i promise
    UPDATE:
    So its been a month
    I did this for 20 times a day
    the first week my jaw hurted like so bad but i was desperate af so i still continued
    the second week i could see some very minor changes
    But since it was slow af i decided to combine this exercise with Mewing (its basically a jawline exercise thing idk)
    the 3rd week its still looked desame but my lower lip is slightly almost aligned with my upper lip
    and finally after 4 weeks both of my lips are aligned.
    it DOES work, but you have to be consistent
    here are bad effects and good effects that can happen:
    Bad effects: This can cause TMJ (Jaw dislocation)
    Jaw can be put back into old position when you sleep
    Can cause teeth shifting
    Good effects: You have better jawline plus your underbite is less likely noticeable
    Btw i advice yall to get something to always push your lower jaw so you can get better results like laying on your couch while your jaw is at the corner of the couch
    Since my lips are only aligned and my underbite is sometimes noticeable, Im gonna do this exercise FOR ANOTHER MONTH. Ill see yall again after a month
    im 14 and im very insecure and the case i have rn is only mild underbite, if you have severe underbite I advice yall to just wear braces lol.

    2months in. My jaw shape changed alot but I still have a very very slight underbite. But its really not noticable anymore. But for me it is

      ​@@shantanu_sarafbro for me that's not possible. Don't close your mouth totally, leave a little gap between upper teeth and lower teeth and try to suck your lower lip little inside and add mewing these really helps.
      You can try if this helps you as well

    I was in under braces treatment for underbite problem since 2019.. and its 2023,underbite was cured for a while but after braces off,my lower jaw comes forward..now the dentist says my muscle doesn't support it that's why i ve to undergo for jaw surgery.. but that is very expensive and i feel very nervous to do that..
    Also ive long chin and because of underbite it looks very bad..and this is my biggest insecurity.. and my side profile looks very bad..
    All my friends relatives make fun of me...
    I saw this video and will continue to do this for months..hope it will work for me :'(

    i totaally feel you and everyone one here in this video, but i'm doing this exercise for 2 days now and i don't know if it works but i'm just doing it for incase is effective to try it out cause, why not? at least is better than doing nothing! and at least you are doing something to solve the maloclussion PROBLEM... 😉
    sooo i would suggest you shouln't depend on anyone here and just try it for youself, but i would recommand you *(just as im doing now...)* that you do this exercise for solving your respective maloclussion for at least 2 months to comfirmif is effective and still make plans to make money enough for your maloclussion treatment in the dentist *(for incase it doesnt make changues in these 2 months)* ok?
    so do that!!!! i beleive is better to have a backup plan, a plan B for incase
    Extra tips FOR A BETTER/IMPROVED AND MORE ATTRACTIVE FACE *(ALSO INCLUDES SOLVING YOUR RESPECTIVE MALOCLUSSION)* but still try all these for 2 months or 4 and then consider braces...;
    1. Maintain good posture
    2. Combine this with mewing
    3. Chew your food properly
    4. Do not breath from mouth
    5. Sleep with closed mouth

I can't give an accurate update but I'll tell you everytime I do it I feel my underbite correct a little but then an hour later it goes back. If you did this three times a day and worse something to keep you mouth closed while you slept it might actually work I correcting a not to bad underbite

    The lack of comments here made it hard for me to believe that it worked back then but i kept doing it for 4 months and my jaw definitely improved (not just my opinion, but from friends and family too)
    Some other tips i can recommend in order to accelerate the improvement or simply make it less noticable is to do these
    Chin tucks
    Mewing
    And dont make your hair slicked back so that the protrusion is less noticable

      How do you actually mewing with underbite problem? Do you mew with regular jaw position (underbite) or try to force a normal jaw position then mew? Sorry for my bad English.

My lower lip is usually much more forward back then and rn it seems to be more further back than usual. It worked a bit on me.. but im not sure it works for everyone.       I'm 6 month late, but hey, symmetrical face doesn't mean pretty,,, its okay to have asymmetrical face! Its normal and more natural! :D,,, even in arts and paintings, we reccomended not draw the faces too symmetrical :D
