    Mate, you have opened a door here I never knew existed!
    I had only been familiar with the term "sphenoid" in the context of sinuses - due to my life-long problems there. When you mentioned the bone, and the tilting thereof, my face started making sense.
    The entire left hemisphere of my skull, and my face, is smaller than the right. Left jaw slants outward from the ear to the corner of the jaw, but is more tapered and higher than the right, from the corner, down to the chin. Left eye is slightly higher than the right. Nose has a septal deviation to the right.
    Right jaw is fuller and lower. Back of the head is fuller than the left. Left/back is flat at the base of the skull. Left nostril appears larger than the right.
    Your video instantly put so much in place that I could never put my finger on, and has given way to a whole bunch of research for me to dive into!

    It is the posture that causes face asymmetry. I changed my posture, and my face asymmetry disappeared. My case was easy because I knew what caused posture asymmetry in the first place. I practiced the Yoga Lotus pose (Padmasana) one-sidedly for some time. My pelvis became asymmetrical, and my face started losing symmetry, jaw, eyes etc. As soon as I realized what the problem was and started practicing the Yoga Lotus pose with another leg below, my facial asymmetry disappeared in only two days (!) after several years of suffering. I should thank Neal Hallinan for this realization and healing. The main realization is that the jaw and pelvis are linked and can influence each other.

    That makes sense. I think this is why my face is asymmetrical. My left upper palate is higher than the right due to asymmetrical tongue posture (I've been putting more pressure on my left than right). So, since the right is lower, my sphenoid tilts more to the right side and is making everything on my right side lower.

    Craniosacral therapy (CST) manipulates the bones of the skull and I believe can affect the positioning of the sphenoid bone. Also, some chiropractors can do a cranial facial release where they use a balloon to adjust your sphenoid bone into the right position. Dr. Mew recently posted about it on his TH-cam channel.

    Nice. What about TMJ APPLIANCES to re-symmetry the TMJ kondoyle areas by dropping the jaw on the heightened side, and moving the jaw slightly forward?
    I'm using that now. My TMJ joints weren't symmetric, one side ( i think the right side) was slightly higher...so I've been given a TMJ mouth appliance to wear (looks like invisalign but with a splint), and I have to wear it for FOUR MONTHS.
    The improvement in my body's symmetric function was actually INSTANT the moment I put it on!
    Can you make a video on THIS specific topic as well!?

      @@smilylaugh3725 I hope he replies. I have had success with Neuromodulating medicine (Botox and xeomin) in the masseter and temporalis muscles which has over 9 months led to a big reduction in the size of my masseters and the visibility pf the temporalis’. Jaw clenching has been a huge issue and caused significant teeth damage and loss before a dentist recommended relaxing the masseters in addition to the use of a night time occlusal splint. Unfortunately that medical solution is extraordinarily expensive and must be unkept with expensive high dose treatment to continue to alleviate the issues. When I have gone for over a year without the medication in my masseters they have returned to strong clenching pressure and the masseters size grew back to pre-treatment size . Again causing jaw and teeth pain wear/tear.
      I do like the aesthetic outcome of reducing my angular jawline also but wonder about people that are doing the treatment for pure aesthetic reasons to make their jawline heart shaped and whether they are causing any negative flow on effects from ‘unnecessary’ muscle manipulation. It’s just an area of interest for me as Counsellor that guides mostly women that are caught up getting injectable medicines and start to lose their ability to see their own features with any objectivity (body and facial image disturbances or dysmorphia in the extreme)

    If you dont already have perfect teeth and a wide smile here is a GREAT advice;
    Use a palatal expander.
    I had some crowding and needed to expand the palate (which was steep) and now after more than 10 month its crazy what difference it made on the symmetry, somehting that was just a bonus although I was familiar with the effect expanders would have before starting.
    Some differences, eye brows are now way more similar and have more symmetrical angle, nose more straight, eye symmetry has greatly improved and are more sharp, cheek bones are wider and whole face looks healthier.

    Hey Connor, great stuff as always! Do you know how much he paid for his ALF treatment? I’m considering it but it does look to be pretty costly. I have pretty severe malocclusion thanks to a childhood jaw injury+childhood orthodontics. My current bite causes my jaw to deviate severely to the right, resulting in lots of over-activation, restriction and internal rotation throughout the entire right side of my body. I’m considering Invisalign but am worried about their ability to determine where my ideal bite should be. What are your thoughts? Thank you for all of your help.

Obviously they arn't that severe and most models/attractive people do have good Symmetry but it isn't a "death sentence". @@simulatingme at 5:02 from what I understand, if your right eye is lower, means that your jaw is likely to tip more to the left side of the face. But seeing the exercise he demonstrated, it doesn't matter which side of the eye is lower, you just need to do the realignment of the jaw so that it will be more centred, and then the eye position will follow. Have you ever tried mewing?
