There are multiple reasons that change your facial symmetry. Lifestyle mistakes such as sleeping on your face squishes your face and changes the way your face appears on one side. It can cause droopy lips on one side of your face, more wrinkles on one side versus another. Chewing gum may be a good jawline exercise but it mostly develops one half of your Jawline which ultimately gives you a crooked jaw.
If you want to have a better looking face Not applying enough sunscreen while driving is not an option. It damages your skin on 1/2 of your face. It not only wrinkles one side of your face faster but it also causes more skin thinning, age spots. Adding face yoga exercises and face massage techniques is a great idea if you have ever thought about how to get a nice jawline evenly on both sides of your face or to naturally get a face lift to make your face more balanced.
I have shared multiple mistakes that change your facial symmetry as well as solutions to fix the problems.
Just by changing your sleeping positions, chewing habits, lifestyle and including face firming exercises on both sides of your face equally you can not only reduce facial fat, reduce double chin, develop a sharp jawline, Lift droopy eyes and change the appearance of wrinkles on your forehead.
In my upcoming face yoga group sessions starting March 9 you can join me for step-by-step sequence office yoga workshops once a week for four weeks. I host these classes myself. And nothing gives me more happiness than to see face transformations and success stories of women who want to feel confident in the beauty without undergoing surgery, fillers, needles or Botox. Face yoga is a natural non-invasive method to boost blood circulation in your face and to strengthen your facial muscles.
You can reach my team via my website or on the email mentioned here.
They will schedule a complementary phone call with you to answer all your questions and help you understand what is the best way to enroll into upcoming sessions with me.

knowing that i have an asymmetrical face affected me a lot. i never get to open my camera during online classes since im scared to be made fun of. ive been so insecure of myself for a very long time, and knowing that i have an asymmetrical face just made it 10x worse. now i just feel like crying cause i dont know what to do. i keep trying to be positive and not think about it, but i always think of it every night and have trouble falling asleep. i just hate myself. i feel like im the only person living this ugly..

These tips work if you want to prevent future asymetries. For the ones you currently have you just need to work on the opposite side. For example chewing gum on your fatter / puffier side, helps work this side more and become more chiseled just like the other side. I have been makinh an effort to do everything on the opposite side than the one i was used to, and my face is already changing! Your face wont even out by jusy doing the correct things, you have to do the opposite 's side first and then proceed with the correct.

Same for me. Although I noticed it more as a I got older. When I was younger my face was more symmetrical. With a picture the way the lens is , you are not getting a full scale view of how you look, minor asymmetrical features are enhanced and look more asymmetric. I believe when people see you in real life, the asymmetry is not as bad. But that's at least what I've found based on hours of research lol.
Different cameras have different will make you look different based on the mm of the lens. So unless you have a specific mm lens, you aren't seeing yourself how a the human eye can see you.

You have a facial asymmetry. You're friends and family as re used to seeing you like that and see nothing wrong.
Similarly you are also used to seeing your assymetry but it's laterally inverted.
Our cameras (rear) capture us the way we actually look to others. When you see that image, it's new for you coz you always seen your face laterally inverted in a mirror.
I have same issue, I used to sleep on one side because of the power plug. Now I have a asymmetrical face.

After the inverting tiktok filter I haven’t gone back to feeling fine and confident. I feel like I’ve picked out my asymmetrical features from older pictures on back camera and honestly look so different. Does anyone else also feel confused if they’re ugly or pretty 😂I honestly have no idea if I’ve been lied to or not? In the mirror I look super symmetrical I even used a ruler although one of my brows is slightly different I’m still pretty symmetrical and my nose is straight. My hair line is in the middle and also straight but when I take a picture from back camera or flip the photo my nose is wonky and moves to my right and my brow looks more thinner then the other, my hair line isn’t in the middle and I can’t fix it. I truly have no idea what I look like and it stresses me out. My friends and family saying “don’t worry about it your just looking to close” isn’t helpful at all like I just want to know if that’s what people really see.
Also it’s currently 5:30 AM while writing this so that paragraph probably made no sense but please comment what u know about inverted and stuff because it keeps me up all night and I constantly think about I

    • @lemanumarova
      @lemanumarova 2 ปีที่แล้ว +188

Hey! Don’t worry, if you find yourself ugly in photos. Most of us have somewhat asymmetrical faces. When you look at yourself in the mirror, you see a reflected version of ur face, but when you look at photograph of your face, it’s not reflected, and any lack of symmetry in your face is exaggerated. Because you are not used to see yourself in that way. I really hope i’ve made my point clear. Andd last but not least, don’t forget that you’re beautiful and special just the way you are no matter what ❤️

The moment she mentioned chewing gum I know what she’s about to say are hard core facts! And the tip of sleeping on your back is again hundred percent practical for a more symmetrical face. I noticed over ten years ago that the side of my face that I sleep on more is less attractive. Quite recently, after I chewed gums for about two weeks my face twisted on one side. Immediately I stopped and in less than a week my face straighten and looked better. Also I have observed that less and soft talking reduces asymmetry, while the opposite deepens the asymmetry of our face.

Brilliant! I've been unable to chew gum for years, because it gave me a headache (facial trauma/ reconstruction). But dental work recently has allowed me the freedom to chew gum again--so I've been doing that like mad. But I didn't want to continue that, and I had no idea it was probably increasing the asymmetry I was trying to fix. Great ideas! Thanks

Pro tip if you’re also here because you’re insecure of how you look in pictures and videos. Most of the time, in person, people are seeing you from an angle so the symmetry doesn’t matter that much. Use this to your advantage in pictures, turn your face slightly or position the video camera to the side. Don’t exaggerate it, just a little. Hopefully when you get more comfortable, it will matter to you less.

Most (if not all) body asymmetry is caused by dysfunctional connective tissue (hereditary or not), including premature fusion of cranial sutures (craniosynostosis). Eating habits are usually the result of this inherent dysfunctional connective tissue. Exercise & pressure point therapy can re-sculpt the body, but it takes persistence. Also, asymmetry increases with age.

When you sleep on your side, it also thins that side of your hair on your head. Sleep on your back with your hair swept upwards (so the nape/thickest part is what is exposed to the pillow.) This also helps with split ends, etc. Real silk pillowcases are good for skin and hair too (the cheaper alternative is satin, although not as beneficial)

In 2021, I went to the dentist because I couldn't deal with the pain anymore, it's all good now, but the damage is done.
Now I mew again, and am watching the video to see if there is other way of "fixing" this. Plus, I have to get braces, maybe that'll help too.
PS: BTW, I'm 15. So it hasn't been that long and I'm still a teenager, that's why I worry, because that, I think, will affect how I'll look in the future.

Instead of not chewing gum just dedicate an hour to chewing one side and another hour to chewing the other side. That way you get the best of worlds by increasing the hypertrophy of both masseter muscles.

Thank you so much for this. I always wonder why my face is really asymmetrical. Also I just start doing face exercise or yoga. I hope it'll "fix" my face
