    The great thing about screwing up tubing is you can usually fix it by just slugging it with the next size smaller tube and welding it together to the correct length ...I have a beefy cage that has a few tube sections o fixed just like that and it has held up to alot of abuse .

      Proper slugs are important for sure!

    Those interiors are really tight. I’m 5’ 7 and noticed it when I had my Cherokee. No need for a rear seat anyway! Thanks for the video.

    Por 15 doesn't have much UV resistance, it might be worth top coating your sliders for long term protection

      True, I have read that as well. But I’m curious to see how long/well it holds up without a top coat. Especially on a part I know will get scratched up like a rock slider.

      You called it, the sun nuked the POR-15. It’s super faded now

    How many weeks roughly did it take you in your garage? I wanna take on this project but I live in an hoa so would have to do it semi secretly 😅. Awesome video! Helps a lot

      I think it took like 20 days for a couple hours of work per day.

    Did you use DOM ?

    • @machinesinc
      @machinesinc  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Cage is 90% DOM. I ran out and used HREW in a few spots. But everything surrounding driver and passenger is DOM.
