You'll get an audience really quickly if you keep the quality and consistency of videos like this.
Appreciate it!
That looked like a lot of work but turned out awesome. You should be proud of all the work you done.😁
Thanks! Definitely a lot more work than quick editing shows haha
like it. thinking about building a cage like this similar in a couple years. Once the kids are old enough I want to take them off roading but would want a roll cage in it and would probably install 5 point harnesses. I know they make 5 point harness seats for up to three in the rear for wranglers and side by sides so was going to adapt one of those seats to the rear.
Nice
Wow nice performance 👏
Thanks!
looking good brother the one thing you dont won't to cheep on is the roll cage thanks for sharing stay safe and have a great year
Agreed, all fun and games until someone gets hurt haha
Love the sandwich plates. Does the xo-fab cage have the same setup or do they require drilling holes in the roof? Also what did this cost you tubing/bender/coper included?
Pretty sure xo fab is identical setup with sandwich plates that drill and bolt through the roof. Cost wise I’m not positive. Bender was about $1500, notcher $200. And I think about $700 in tubing. Plus another $200 for paint, bolts, tube clamps, etc. So that being said the XO fab kit isn’t a bad deal
hello, how thick is the pipe you used? I want to do the same, hybrid, is the 42 mm pipe too thin?
NEVER use pipe for any safety items. You need to use tubing. Either DOM, or HREW if on a budget. You need to size the tube based off the weight of the vehicle. Lighter vehicles can use 1.75” diameter X .120” wall. Heavier vehicles need 2” tube.
Do you have any idea how much you raised the CG with all that?
I’m bummed I totally forgot to weigh the cage before installing it. So no legitimate numbers. However on trail ripping around corners I was surprised it does not feel any more top heavy than before. Definitely happy with the handling.
How much lift is on your rig?
Probably 6-8 inches
Looks like a beefy build. Almost time to hit the trail, no?
Hit some trails last weekend and it went great. Harnesses definitely give a false sense of confidence when trophy trucking around 😂
I’m in the process of a building a 96XJ doing a Dana 60 axle swap 6.0 LS I’m located right outside of Dallas Texas where you at located at bro what state ?
