Delays are because of less man power. Construction companies have not hired too many workers like other cities. On construction sites we see hardly 50 to 60 people working in a shift and 60 people will be spread to different areas.

Sub urban trains needed this will help satellite town people to travel other parts of the city, travel fare is cheaper compared to metro it runs on 35-40kmph and more buses needed to give better connectivity metro cannot give better last mile connectivity helpful only on it corridors, commercial regions but metro operational cost is high compared to buses,suburban train
Green Line Nagasandra to Madawara was due to be completed by 2019 & it's still not ready. 2 stations Manjunathnagar& Chikabidrakallu are purposely kept locked as BIEC is still not ready. After the New government was formed they initially announced to open by August ,2023, then Dec which became January 2024, later March, then April and now pushed to July 2024. It's 5 years of delay already. Lethargy is everywhere no progress being made. Last mile is pain on Tumkur road. Buses don't stop & Autos charge exuberantly.

Bangalore south is being neglected, nice road is after electronic city, there is huge truck traffic in nice road, hope they finish connectivity from sarjapur, attibele, chandapura, kanakapura road, mysore road, tumkur road where the truck traffic is usually high, where as tumkur road (dobbaspet) to Hoskote(tirupathi road), the traffic is mostly cars and will handle future traffic of chennai express highway

Metro is not solution to traffic 🚦. Day by day new vehicles are comming and goods cannot be transported through metro. So Banglore grown more fatter that it cannot become slim 😅. They must construct 3 new big cities 50-60km away from Banglore and give smart City plan and infrastructure specially IT companies must be transported to those cities first. Then only the huge population and traffic can be controlled.
