      Picked my 2018 model up end-Feb 2020 with 27k miles and glad to see someone has done 100000+ miles in one, though it would be good to know when Audi replaced My BMW C Revolution's A3 Etron battery, as mine also gets around 28 miles on the clock when fully charged-is battery degradation quite slow with these?

      @@lw2978 Hi - i believe the battery was replaced around the 110k-130k miles as it was done by a previous owner. I don't believe the batter failed but they had a recall on the battery casing due to moisture leaking in. For some it was a case of replacing the battery casing, for others (if moisture had gotten in) it was a case of replacing the whole pack. Hope that helps.

    Love the blue, like my Nogaro blue S4, but smaller. I got the 2017 A3 e-tron in a dark blue, almost purple in the sun. I'm loving the car even it only has a 23 mile range, which is great around town. but on long distance drives, the 4 banger really gets great MPG.

      I have a 2018 A3 e Tron - it returns about 60-80 MPG on a longer run, assuming you start with a full charge and don't drive like a lunatic. I haven't tried any significant driving just using the engine - I'd guess you'd probably get about 40-50 MPG on a combined drive. A full charge takes nearly 4 hours at home, but at one of the faster charging points you can charge it fully in about 2.5 hours or so. We still have ours and still loving it. She's now done nearly 155k miles and still going strong. What model year have you got as the new model years have bigger batteries. My A3 8V model came from the factory with a 8.8kWh battery and i find that when we drive it to empty and charge it up to full, she takes about 6.5kWh...so Audi keep a bit at the bottom of the battery and the top to manage any battery degradation. The newer models have a 12.8kWh 'gross' battery capacity and a 10.4kWh usable so quite an upgrade...
      On a full charge (6.5kWh charged) driving it all the way to empty, we get up to 24 miles in summer (driving carefully) and 14 miles in winter (with the HVAC on). I tend to plug ours in as soon as I get back home most days but there will be times it's left empty or full a few days as we also have a Tesla Model S that does all the longer journeys.
      The reverse camera I bought off AliExpress...i think ours is now somewhat outdated and you can get versions that would allow e.g. Apply Carplay so I would probably recommend going for a more modern version now...but Aliexpress would be where I'd look to purchase it from.
      Hope that helps and hope you enjoy your A3 e-tron.

    • @mybmwcevolution1415
      @mybmwcevolution1415  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think i programmed the mirrors with the OBD Eleven app and OBD adapter to have the auto mirror folding enabled.
      The wing mirrors were really easy…carefully pop out the glass, undo a few screws behind it and the cover comes off. You can then also unplug the indicator lights and replace these too if you wish which is what I did.
      I have 3 EVs (BMW C-Evo, Audi A3 e-tron, and Tesla Model S) so we have a NewMotion home charge point. It is capable of 22kW but our UK home typically only have single phase so we all pretty much get 7.4kW from the charger.

    Great review of your etron. I’ve got a very similar spec bar the leather and pan roof. The B&O sound system is amazing - when I first bought the car, I’d listen to music on the driveway, it’s that good.
    The lights are LED rather than bi-xenon - they give the car a premium look. I wouldn’t want to go back to a car that didn’t have LED lights now.
    I’ve also added a set on 19 inch Audi S3 saloon alloy wheels with Eibach pro lowering springs. It really sets the car off and improves the handling no end - definitely recommended.
