I own one for the the last 4 years, I don't have any bad thing to say about this, I charge religiously every day sometime twice a day and the worst mileage I get is 20 miles per charge, one tank sometime last for 1000 Miles, this car has different modes, hybrid, battery hold, electric only etc.. and if you know when to use the correct mode i.e if you are on motorway use battery hold and when you come to city traffic use electric or hybrid then you can get the best mileage out of this 210 BHP beast with super charge little engine combined with battery power which gives instant torque, this car cannot be COMPARED with Toyota Prius!!!.
I brought mine in 2015 and last year our car got recalled and the sealant had leaked. We had to get a brand new battery installed. We was lucky that the battery has an 8 year warranty so we got it for free. We was told that the battery was worth £8000 🔋🔋 it’s a lovely car to drive though!
I bought a 16 lease return with 22k miles from a non audi dealer. It's actually been in my possession 8 days out of the last 3 weeks! It went into the audi shop the day after I got it for charging issue. Then found out it had 2 recalls. Got that fixed, then it went back because the satellite radio antenna went bad. Finally got the car back this past Monday. Previous owner bought a 45k maintenance package so the dealer says it's good till I hit 55k miles. Plus I also bought an extended warranty with it. It paid for half of itself with the cost of the antenna repair. Other than that it's a nice little car! Definite learning curve with mmi system.
Yikes!! I hope the rest of your ownership is trouble free! Thanks for the comment 🙏 Please be sure to give the video a LIKE 👍 and SUBSCRIBE to the channel! 😀
So one issue caused a break-down of trust in the vehicle? Only one problem was mentioned, not mutiple (it was the same issue she had with both cars)? I have averaged around 20 miles of Ev range (24 miles Uk), doing speeds up to 60mph (but usually 20-40mph), although I do find that I drive more carefully/economically in the E-tron than in other cars I've had, it seems to promote this! 'Never had an issue with filling up the tank either, 'though I've only had to do this a few times, as most of the time, my driving is in Ev mode.
Thank you for your comment 🙏 Nice to hear that your experience with your A3 etron has been positive 😀😀. 20 miles on electric is pretty amazing. Unfortunately for Carol, it has been primarily the one problem (there was also the brake issue on her 1st car). Given that it’s something she has to deal with on a regular basis, it has become quite an issue for her. Please give the video a LIKE 👍 and SUBSCRIBE to our channel 😀😀🙏🙏
I've had mine for only 3 months (bought a lease return with only 25K miles and with a CPO warranty), but I usually get about 18 miles of EV range and overall I'm up to 125 mpg. I've only bought one tank of gas so far and I didn't have any problem at the pump.
That's bad luck with the tank problem. Carol, you seem like a nice person, I think you are using the car incorrectly; 29/38mgp? We are getting 55mpg on 2+ hour trips. 80-120mpg on under 1.5-hour trips and full EV 0-50 minute trips. Our average since we bought it including road trips is 71mpg. We were also only getting 12-mile range when we bought it second-hand. We plug in every day and are now getting a 20-mile range every time. My take is that in order to get the full juice out of the battery you need to plug it after every use to condition the battery. We bought it for $18k last year, and the battery is still under warranty for another 50k miles! There is no better car in the used market for this price when you factor, mpg, maintenance, sustainably, style, driving quality.
I have the same car. I got almost a year ago. I had the same issues with it only once or twice but never again. But! A big issue on mine is it's prompting me about a safety system failure. Took it to the dealer and asked me around $7k to fix it (replace the whole passenger seat pod) since my warranty is over. I said I'm gonna wait it out (idk, it was just a lot for me at the time). Came back to the dealer to pick up my car and all of a sudden they "temporarily" fixed it for courtesy. Learned later on that there's a recall for that and "temporary" and " for courtesy" are probably lies. Not gonna get another audi, or at least from that dealer.
Audi (plus vw) doesn't test their new cars they throw them to you buyers and learn from you the malfunctions and imperfections of their new models. Especially the new golf and the new a3 they suffer from heavy electrical and electronic issues same for the hybrid a3. For my experience a new golf 8 stopped working, and the keys weren't working, the problem? bad software we changed a j519 and worked, in an a3 1.5 of 2021 suddenly it stopped on the street and the ignition was dead, again the j519 failed, another one, audi a3 hybrid 2021 the engine control module failed and the power electronics.... the list goes on and on they SUCK

Can you please stop using that ridiculous sound effect.
How does she get such terrible mpg ? I have one and get at least double what she is saying. And double the electric only range

sf hills kill mpgs lol
Coming from Toyota to Audi and expecting the same reliability was your first mistake.

There is now a recall for this issue
By far the worst car review ever
Battery failed twice on mine, case currently at court.
Good video. Different style car review in a good way!

Dang it! Its the best looking hatch on market. Oh well, next!
What the heck is she talking about lol... specially about the range and mpg.
She probably never even drove an Audi. All seems a bit fake
