New subscriber but old seamstress. You do such fascinating pouches. Purses and wallets. I'm sewing for my church ladies group. As a small surprise gift. HeHe. I love to treat our little group of 6.
I would like to thank you 😊 very much for this tutorial. Very helpful, well explained, and user-friendly. It got me back to sewing. I haven't sewn for the past 26 years. You make a very good teacher, and the end result is professional.
I haven't sewn in easily 30 years. Picked up an old Singer at Goodwill and been trying to find small easy projects to try. Came across this video and it looked like a good place to start. Mine didn't turn out quite right but it's a start. Gotta work on my seam allowance. Your video was very easy to follow. I will definitely be giving this one a go again. Thank You!!!
Saying thank you is not enough to show how much I value everything about you on Telegram I got a very high balance on your credit card's... So Amazing*** you Are the best❤Darkcreed90😚😘☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺
Beautiful. Tried this and it came out better than I expected since I am new to sewing purses. Even my little 9 year old daughter loves it and is asking me to sew her one. New subscriber.
Habe diese Coin Purse für mich und meine Freundin genäht. Sie sind mir, Dank der guten und leicht verständlichen Anleitung, gut gelungen 😊😊. Herzlichen Dank und liebe Grüße von mir ❤❤
I have tried the easy fold wallet pattern and have only once managed to get it right. I thought oh well ill try this one bit more sewing but that doesn't worry me. What a revelation it worked so easy and quick thank you thank you made an old lady very happy
Just found this and only had 5” wide fabric but it still worked. The outside was a men’s silk tie and lined with cotton. I lowered the bottom pocket and top stitched it as well and it came out beautifully! I need to find the poppers you use. I only have the old metal ones and I’m always worried about them getting rusty! Thanks so much for this lovely video tutorial. Now I need to go clean up my bits! 😉
OMG! Your tutorial was so easy to follow. The way you showed the step by step instructions without just rushing through. I was able to make one without any mistakes! I have now subscribed to your channel because of the easy way you show how to make it. Thank you 🙏
Hi! Made this purse, so easy to do. Really well explained. It didn't take too long, used odd bits from my stash. I'm going to make another a little wider to take my mobile phone! I machined buttonholed flap and sewed on a button for fastener, Cost nothing to make....I'm really pleased with the outcome. Thx
This is my favorite project from the dozens I have done via You Tube tutorials. Love the size of the finished project and when made with cotton it is machine washable. Have been carrying these as wallets for several years and love them. Thank you so much for the tutorial.
I am totally not a sewer and I have made seven of these purses in two days for gifts. I absolutely love your videos so easy to follow. And you are so fun.Cannot wait to try your other projects. Thank you for sharing.😷 Diana in Arizona
Thank you, you gave me the hidden seams without bulk and also the idea of double pocket so might try a few like yours now. Had to get my head around flipping outside in bit but thanks to you doing video I was able to come back set by step to get it right. Big thank you for your no nonsense tutorial.
Lizzie, just watched this video to make a purse, really enjoyed it, clear instructions and so easy. Id like to ask if iyou make the bag on the shelf behind you, in front of the teddies? I’d love to see a video of this as I love the shape so much. Thank you
That bag is called Stasia, the pattern is on my website www.lizzycurtis.com just use the search facility the video is in video tutorials or try searching here on TH-cam. X
4 seam purse with popper......i thought. "what the heck is a popper"? lol. great video....i love your energy and sense of humor....you made this project fast and easy....and really great clear concise directions!!!! well done....just made my first one....and just have to add myyyy.....popper!!!!! lol.
I love this little pouch and your tutorial is fantastic. I will be making a bunch of these for our church bizarre coming up. I’m so happy that I found your channel, you are adorable and so is this pouch. Thank you,
I only had 4 1/2” wide fabric but it turned out beautifully, but a bit taller than I wanted. I loved that I didn’t have to do much to stitching. Any idea what dimensions to use for 4 1/2 “ width? length? Depth of pocket? etc. I’d like it to be slightly larger than a credit card. I’m not very good at pattern making😬Your video was so easy to understand and demonstrated each step all the way to the end. Oh and love your voice!❤
@@fayetronsgard1673 why don’t you cut a strip of scrap fabric slightly reduced in length and fold as if you were making one. Test it out until your happy, that’s what I would do x

Hi Lizzy the material I am using is pretty thick with mirrors. Just wondering if I could sew it without liner. I used one of your other patterns and added a belt to it. It was simple and easy. It turned out really good. Wish you could see it.
Thank you so much lizzie for such an easy to follow tutorial. I have come back to sewing after 21 years bringing up my special needs son. I have a quick question for you please, the only interface I have is Heat n bond Lite (I use it for making bookbinding cloth) am I able to use this on the lining for this project as I will be using cotton or should I use something else? Thank you so much again for such an easy to follow tutorial xx
Love this purse Lizzy - made several. The latest I added a removable strap with poppers and added another popper on second pocket so perfect little shoulder bag for 3 year old with lots of poppers and pockets for her to open up. Wish I could add a photo.
Just discovered your You Tube channel. Watched the quick wallet as well as this tutorial. Love quick sew projects that are so useful. Enjoy your teaching style and am looking forward to watching more of your tutorials. Happy Christmas 🎄 from Florida.

I tried this with faux leather but I struggled turning it right side out and then trying to top stitch once it was right side out but looks great. Thanks
I’ve noticed a standing bag behind you that has a curved opening. Do you have a video of the making of that bag? I totally enjoy your videos, Thank you,
I finally made one with faux leather outer and lite canvas lining. Have to find different closure as the snaps on the pocket comes out when I open it. I would be really bummed if it wasn't so cute. When I get the closure figured out for the faux leather, going to make lots more. Thanks for the tutorial. Love watching you sew.
New subscriber but old seamstress. You do such fascinating pouches. Purses and wallets. I'm sewing for my church ladies group. As a small surprise gift. HeHe. I love to treat our little group of 6.
I added a strap for over body and it’s perfect size for passport and boarding pass so no panic rooting in handbag to find them.
How did you get the strap on? I’m new at sewing and quilting and just can’t figure it out!! TIA. Kim
After one false start, I made it & I'm so chuffed.
Thanks, Lizzy.
