As a new sewist, I love this! I’m also chuckling because while I know it’s a ten-minute job for most of you, I need to multiply any time estimates for projects by ~8. Yes, I would spend an hour to an hour and a half on my first one. 🤪
Yes, me too! 10 mins. I was thinking at least an hour!! But, I do see that you could get faster at it with practice… And maybe making all of one element at a time and then putting them all together if that makes sense?
RFID is used in most credit cards now (for contactless payment) with no swiping or inserting so you don’t have to carry your credit cards in a special RFID wallet or case.
Only thing is that I would put the tab wider, so that any changes or any little pieces that one put inside the bag have no chances to come out. Juste une pensée de dernière minute.

Such a cute idea. I agree a bit of interfacing might make it a bit sturdier and I did not read all the comments, but one of those plastic snap things would be great too. No sewing. I might put the closure one in the flap before sewing it to the body of the wallet first and then line up the other side when all is done. Great little project. Thanks for sharing!
This is a cute little bag. Im always looking for scrap busting ideas. I will definitely try some. The small town we retired to women dont really carry purses. A hiking, fishing area so they like to be hands free. Ive hoarded buttons since the 60s so I cut poiny tail bands in half and insert into seam as a loop and button to close it. Im about to order rings and hooks too. Usually I dont buy hardware, taking apart old purses but Im selling more at our tiny farmers market.
@@eetoved1758 add together cost of store bought ring, snap, cost of your time, fabric, thread, stabilizer if used, anything else, then double the total. Love the little idea of a colourful money and card holder even if a bag is used. I would opt for a black purse (wallet in the States I think) and so often nearly gave myself an attack cos I couldn't find it in the black line ing of my handbag .or it had fallen to the bottom of bag. This you can clip to inside of bag to pay at till in seconds rather than rummaging for purse. Thanks. There's one I made as a cuff round wrist under gloves or jumper sleeve. Just fir card and notes.
I enjoyed this video so much! I’ve been sewing since I was about 8 and I’m 58 now! I’m looking into an industrial sewing machine…what machine do you use? I like how simple it is.

Those weren't darts. Pinking shears would've cut the bulk off the seam allowance better.
