She really is a great teacher . I feel like the chance of getting a teacher that will follow a student walking out and recognize the warning signs would be rare. I see teachers getting mad at the student walking out w out realizing it and letting them be. If she was that type of teacher who knows what would’ve happened

Oh I KNOW what you mean and its completely frustrating to see this...
We NEVER used to be this way. Americans were known world wide for "The good Samaritan". It was common knowledge that if you see someone in distress.. you help them.
It used to be this common idea (and its even written into movies/TV Shows etc)..
That if youre being attacked or injured or something.. first thing on your mind is to get to a busy area, FIND PEOPLE.. a busy street, a diner etc because it was common that if others see a crime or distress they chime in. But its sad how now a days depending on STATE people will just walk right passed you if you are laying on the sidewalk dying.
You know what that reminds me of? CHINA. Back in e en 2010s I used to watch RESCUE VIDEOS (restore faith in humanity comp) where soneone needs help and others jump in.. and its always ALWAYSSS the videos from CHINA where you see a child drowning in a pond and people, families just walking around, even WATCHING the drowning and doing absolutely NOTHING. Or a child falling from an esculator and that one special person in CHINA that catches the kid. Most of us Americans would watch it and PRAISE the hero because the Good Samaritan is a non existent thing in CHINA. But we are slowly become APATHETIC like them..
I actually did some digging to find out WHY the CHINESE ARE SO ONRY/APATHETIC and wont help to save someone in need.. and I found out that back in the day (before MAO revolution) people WHERE empathetic.. but sonce then they are not because the HERO has been arrested by the CHIBESE POLICE and FINED for helping another civilian especially in distress.. and it gets worse.. the VICTIM can then SUE the HERO for stepping in.. no joke.. so over a few decades each new generation were influenced by that apathetic CULTURE. They are never encouraged to help others.. its odd.
Well HERE WE ARE.. LIKE CHINA beoming APATHETIC towards others..
Recently there was a girl on a busy crowded subway car who was savagely RAPED and no one stepped in. The homeless man raped her also beat her badly.. all in broad daylight in a crowded subway car.. sick.
In CHINA theres this inncident where a little girl, a toddler.. was drowning in a river slow flowing so it wasnt dangerous for adults... the police were there.. standing on the edge and REFUSED TO GET IN THE WATER to save.. later they were asked WHY "the officers said they did not want to get their uniforms wet" 🤦‍♀️ can you believe it? She was saved eventually by an adult that just waded into the water.. thats how ridiculous this is.

who walked by? someone was loitering but it looks like they didn't understand quite what was happening - and if they did, they did the right thing by staying away when the teacher was already helping. they could have called the office but many schools take student's phone. so what else could they have done, then, besides get in the way or stand around? standing around is the better option of the two.

Usually people choke on water bottle caps for three reasons….1. They use their teeth to open the bottle instead of their hands and in this process the cap slips down the throat. I actually used to open my water bottles this way bc I have a tear in a wrist tendon so it’s painful to twist but I’ve since stopped this habit after learning of the dangers. 2. They put the cap back on the bottle loosely and forget while taking a sip they did so. For this reason its either best to screw the cap back on tightly so it doesn’t go anywhere when this happens or get in the habit of taking the caps off and putting them somewhere until you’ve finished the bottle. 3. The third reason is usually a result of someone goofing off where they are joking about squeezing the bottle hard into their mouth with the cap on. A lot of people don’t realize that pushing the bottle hard can actually force the cap off it. I would guess in this girls situation either 1 or 2 happened.

    • @sandraestrada3295

as someone who concentrates chewing on stuff , gum is helpful but at my school it was banned , i would def turn to chewing on water bottles. Water bottles aren’t something you could just ban either , maybe if the school provided reusable bottles ? there’s not really anything you can do to prevent it besides that.

    • @sandraestrada3295

also it’s like if a student leaning on their chair fell back and injured themselves. What are you gonna do ban chairs? or the act of leaning on the chair. More like banning chewing on caps and offering alternatives to those with the habit of chewing on things
