    Year and 6 months so far. Around 20 k miles with no issues. Runs great smooth and has an amazing amount of power for a daily driver. Thanks again Breenspeed.

    Truck still runs amazing no problems. A lot of people ask about Mpg of the truck after the supercharger. I think it is the same as before. But its hard not to juice it a bit to hear that twin screw wine. Sometimes I just tell them it gets smiles per gallon. It sure has made a few cameros a gto some mustangs and a few imports second guess what the hell just happened when get pulled by a truck. Thanks again Breenspeed.

    On the Roush Supercharger oil change, at what mileage should it be done? And what brand of oil should be used and how much is required for correct level? Thanks so much for your reply!

    Drove the truck over 3 hours home. It runs and drives smooth shifts a little firmer which I really like. When you stab it the sound and torque is amazing. Breenspeed is a first class facility. Thanks to George and thanks to Rylan for installing the kit flawlessly. And thanks to Brent for owning such an awesome place.

    I have a 2013 Ford F-150 5.0 and I want to put a Roush supercharger. Some people say that you have to do some work to the motor before putting it in. I wanted to ask if that is true. The motor does have 150k miles.

    • @BrenspeedEngineering
      @BrenspeedEngineering  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      As for as a stock truck no that is not true. This is the same supercharger on production trucks. This is the same supercharger they offered a 50 state legal kit on. So if it REQUIRED more mods it would have came with it. I ran it on my stock 13 for a long long time back in the day. Fast truck.

    • @BrenspeedEngineering
      @BrenspeedEngineering  ปีที่แล้ว

      it is pretty easy to achieve 50+ rwhp with the tune. Plus you get shift upgrades, faster throttle response, and the 100mph speed limiter removed. Here is a link www.brenspeed.com/7015f150r.html

    I have a 2013 that I've really been wanting to supercharge but its coming up on 110k miles. Is that going to put me at too high of a risk to blow the motor with a roush stage 2? Am I better off finding a lower mileage motor to swap in?

    • @BrenspeedEngineering
      @BrenspeedEngineering  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We have supercharged more miles than that. As long as it has been maintained you should be fine. We have boosted 150K miles before but like I said oil changes are key. THANKS for the comment.

    I have a 2013 roush rt570 with 80 k miles I just got a new transmission on it (the original went out on me on the highway) and the thing misfires pretty badly any advice before I take her to the shop ?

    • @BrenspeedEngineering
      @BrenspeedEngineering  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes. If this just happened after the trans was out it is very likely they had the flex plate off. When you do that you have to do a crank relearn. This is a very simple process. Not saying this is your issue but 9 out of 10 times you mess with that the crank relearn is needed. They simply plug a device into the OBDII and rev the engine and the system will re-learn. This is required on a coyote clutch/flywheel install and as well on an auto if you remove the flex plate. If the mis fire was going on before they messed with the trans you have another issue.

    The numbers seem kind of low 476hp? I’ve been watching some videos to get an idea of what route I want to go and I’ve been seeing NA calibrations with bolt ons make 400hp on pump I was kind of expecting at least mid 500s

    • @BrenspeedEngineering
      @BrenspeedEngineering  หลายเดือนก่อน

      This has the Roush calibration which means you hit the vehicle speed limiter of around 100. That is why the pull is only up to 6000 or else it would keep climbing but the speed limiter shuts it down. Plus on trucks they set it up pretty conservative and you can even run 90 octane. A tune really helps on this particular vehicle over that cal. Now that truck is over 10 years old the calibrations they have today for the newer trucks are turned up a lot more.
