we are so much more powerful than we realize

happy Saturday! I hope everyone had a great week and if you're in Canada, happy Canada Day to you. I just wanted to put a little video out there just expressing my love appreciation and gratitude for love, life and community.
A few days ago, I spent a day doing next to nothing with my best friend. Due to our connection and capacity for intimacy, this day turned out to be one of the most enjoyable days I have experienced so far. Being on this journey of learning myself and others as we all are, it took me 26 years to finally learn how to properly connect with someone and allow them to see me fully and learning to accept and see them as well. Going through the trial and errors of being there for others in a way that society has not learned to consider a standard yet. Learning to listen with true empathy in realizing what arises for me when I feel judgement or envy, joy or excitement. Not denying anything that is happening within me, but instead fully acknowledging it so I can decide what to do about it.
This journey of learning to be a person is so hard sometimes, and we can all get caught up in so much doubt about where we are and what we're doing. But as I sat in the middle of a field with my best friend on an old scarf, I realized there's never a wrong place or person to be. Just lessons, and decisions to be made.
I really hope my love came through this video, because it is genuine and I feel it for all of humanity. I believe we can all learn to show and receive love, and that should be our ultimate goal.
