Finally a video that does not just focus on posture, intonation, gestures, etc but emphasises the importance of KNOWING the subject you're talking about.
@@jarenong no, more like 50-50, True self confidence comes your perception of yourself. If you base it on something that is not eternal and innate, or something temporary like money, looks, aesthetics. People who know their abilities generate wealth are confident not those who somehow got rich, it's a delusion or cockiness not self confidence, you really need to have ablities and skills to back your self confidence not looks.
A woman complimented me saying she loves the I walk into a room, and that she loves the confidence I radiate. Probably one of the best compliments I’ve ever gotten.
He's right. I've always loved studying the gestures and language of appealing characters and I come across as confident most of the times, to the point where people are surprised when I tell them I have anxieties and various inner struggles like we all do. It's not about feeling perfect, it's about knowing you deserve to be where you're at and accepting that you might feel uncomfortable at times.
@@nigmonster the guy talking is a white man. Marginalized ppl aren’t always in a position where they have everything they need and can walk away when people disagree with them like if a disabled person is not getting accommodations at university or POC are in a position of being affected by systematic racism. They need to convey but also convince. Being able to agree to disagree is a luxury sometimes.
I became more confident when I accepted the idea that I have no control over other peoples thinking and realizing that it is not worth my time and energy to worry about. The things that people say, whether it is about you or anything else, says more about themselves. When someone speaks they showcase and represent themselves for everyone to hear and see. How you respond or choose to say will also say a lot about you, more than the person you are saying it to or about.
True. People spend too much time on people convincing someone of something when they don't care about you. Its a waste of energy. You soon realize those type of people and its best to move on.
Working as a teacher, having good body language and tone to project confidence is super important. It can be the difference between a class that mocks you and one that respects you.
I'm here for that very reason. I'm a young teacher who just got her first real job. I'm going to be teaching at a school of 300 students, starting in February. I'm doing a lot of studying to prepare as I'd never had such a large scale experience with teaching.
Begin kinda strict & you can loosen up over time, but if you start too casual it becomes nearly impossible to regain the control of the room... Good luck it is a great thing to teach & shape the next generation & a couple more through the lives of the students you influence!
Public speaking technique: _shrink_ your audience scale. Pick 3 people in different parts of the audience. Talk just towards them. Not necessarily directly at them, but look in their general area, gliding back and forth between them. It's much easier to talk to 3 people than, 10, 100, 1000 or greater. It will bring down your anxiety and raise your confidence.
@@psychobillynumbnuts1 Don't talk directly to the three people you pick. Pick the space _between them_ and the person beside them to "talk to". To the audience, it appears that you're talking to someone, but you're just talking to empty space. That way, you aren't looking directly into anyone's eyes and won't get self-conscious or nervous. Later, as you get more confident in your speaking abilities, you can start looking at people if you feel comfortable.
There is a fine line between confidence and arrogance. People are comfortable around confident people but they inwardly despise arrogance. Be confident!

Also knowing that other people's judgement and harsh comments are a result of their own fear (for survival on the most general sense) and not an objective reflection of you
Truth. Martial arts and boxing can help with this. If you can square off to someone and hold your own, the average person out there doesn't seem very scary.
Thank you for this great video. My key takeaways are: 1. Show that you are in command and in control. For example, make eye contacts with others. Talk to convey your message instead of convincing others by saying the same thing in different ways or over-explaining yourself. Take your time to say it and answer the questions. Do not show any quick motion like you are in a hurry. Sit comfortably and own the space 2. Ask yourself how you want to be perceived and what should you do to make it happen. Imitate someone who you think is confident 2. You can build and nurture your confidence. Practice. Practice. Practice
I like #1. Show that you are in command and in control. Convey don’t convince and over explain. Do not show any quick motion like you are in a hurry. Sit comfortably and own your space.
Pingu Nootson@ Thats not good wtf lol, by saying that you can excuse a lot of your own behavior, that is not "good confidence". This is something a spiteful person would say when they sit and dwell on negative experiences. Check yourself.
I think "fake it till you make it" is really important when it comes to confidence. You need to practice it in order for it to start coming naturally. Appearing confident, even when you don't feel confident, I believe, can prevent confrontation or becoming a victim (in some circumstances).
As a performer, I can vouch for this! First you have to learn how to LOOK confident onstage, and then with time and experience, you gradually develop true confidence.
There’s a good book describing this called, “The Confident Gap,” you can’t be confident in something you’re not regularly doing it. Just like you can’t be confident in a certain subject since you don’t regularly practice it. Whereas an expert will be supremely confident since that’s his life.
I'd say yes it's a mix of all of those, meaning it would depends on how well you eventually carry yourself. I can improve, and have confidence in myself in many areas, but I will no doubtly have social anxiety all my life. There are some things that you really can't hide though, that points a giant arrow at others that you are different or not "normal"...so some people will be be more targeted no matter what they do...but I still think it's a good idea to learn these things and one can always improve for sure!
Then you weren't confident enough (or at least more than the teacher). I've answered questions so confidently before that I made them doubt their actual correct answer. Being right is half the battle. Convincing others is the other.
Well dude dont blame the teacher, I dee hentai in your profile picture so I assume you watch pornography frequently and just know it kills your confidence and self esteem
Confidently answer back "Thank you professor, you just taught me a lot about the kind of teacher you are: the one who kicks down those students who need your help the most."
my notes: 1. use cadence 2. confidence is about being comfortable but controlled 3. broad graceful smooth movements (less abrupt reactive movements) 4. convey NOT convince (say it once) 5. spaces force people to anticipate what you’re saying next 6. typical “soldier posture” doesn’t equal confidence (comfort) 7. decisiveness is imperative 8. “the person in charge controls time” no need to speed up for anyone or anything 9. self grooming (self soothing) behaviors look less confident (bc why are you soothing urself rn if you’re confident) 10. if you’re scared, own it (say it) instead of trying to not be “found out” (literally worsens social anxiety) 11. rehearse performance so it’s not sudden/new/scary when you first do it (more control) 12. gain full confidence (breathe, etc) before facing the crowd 13. PEOPLE ARENT BORN CONFIDENT 14. KNOW your info/skills have something to be proud of and have the info to anchor and ground yourself in (so you won’t be unsure or face imposter syndrome) 15. look around and make eye contact (keep eyes at about eye level)
As a woman, choosing makeup, hair and outfits appropriately hugely impacts my confidence. When I’m at my lowest, I can’t even make an eye contact, but at my best, my spine straightens up itself.

One key to developing confidence, is getting to a point in your life that you don’t care what others think of you. Not in arrogance, but you realize that no man is to be the judge and jury of how you feel about yourself.

I love coming across confident people, dismantling their internal mental pillars of power, destroying their physical resources of power and then systematically crushing their psychological construct, so that they are left with the same mental outcomes of Justin Longs character out of the body horror movie Tusk. I then go to church on Sunday and help out on the charity stall.
my mother thought me a lot about body language, she just figured it out being a Volleyball Trainer. about public speaking, she said: stand there a sec, then start with a quiet tone, people instinctively try to hear and will pay more attention, then a joke. i used to be confident, then had panic attacks and anxiety attacks.. while my job was to meet new people and be confident, funny and all. i would go to the toilet before, and stand in a cubicle with legs apart, hands of hips, chest up, slow stomach breathing. so confident body language practice to get your body to feel powerful. it helped soooo much!

Confidence in the way one walks is actually very admirable and attractive. One of my classmates always carries herself with certainty and elegance, so natural and smooth, no awkwardness or hesitation in her gestures. It speaks a lot about her well balanced personality and ability to socialise in different environments. Quite impressive in my opinion:)
It's so beautiful how you described her. Your observational skills are astute and keen. It was so vivid in my mind what you described. You're a great story teller :)
How nice of you to put it this way. Some might take that confidence repulsive and others would desire that caliber ruined. Impressed by the way you see the world around you.
Honestly I feel like confidence comes naturally when you care about something so much that you are no longer sensitive to how people see you and how you appear in front of others. Like Jane Goodall or Colin Powell - I'm a person that has a mission that's important to me, plus huge experience and knowledge that built me, and I'm proud, and what the world thinks is not my concern.
Yes, this makes sense. Rather insecurity (the opposite of confidence) is being unsure and uncomfortable with where you are and feeling like you don't belong there. When you want to be there and feel like you belong there you are more confident.
I think that it all boils down to this one thing he said at the end: Know your material. REALLY know it. When you're very good at something-anything- and you know it, you're confident in showing someone, talking about it or presenting it to a room of people. Know your stuff.
I remember my communications class back when I was in college, and I was horrible at public speaking. It wasn't until I learned the art of the pause and mastering my cadence that I truly began to gain the confidence to speak with a purpose and it changed my life.
I know that this is a serious comment written by an actual person but the appeal looks funnily similar to the bot comments related to criptoe (knowingly writing wrong spelling so it doesn’t alert the bots) under some related videos. TH-cam really need to do something for these bots
- Feeling comfortable and looking around the room indicates confidence. - Confidence is demonstrated through posture, gestures, and eye contact. - Confidence can be quiet and commanding, like Jane Goodall or Colin Powell. - Confidence is also about controlling time and speaking at your own pace. - Modeling high-status individuals and their behaviors can help build confidence. - The way we speak, including cadence and pauses, affects how confident we appear. - Confidence is not just about posture but also about conveying information
The key to confidence is having everything you need. You don’t have to pander to anyone or be concerned with anyone’s opinion. Successful people move differently. Watch closely.
I'd add that prior to the "having", comes the "getting". When you set goals and achieve them, it builds confidence. It's not so much the having as the knowing that you can achieve. The having is just evidence of the belief.
@@adiem1653 Yes and there is a lot that every person can do to make themselves look attractive, e.g. good posture, clean and neat appearance, well-fitting clothing, a confident walk, etc. All those things add to our confidence, even if we are not the most beautiful person naturally.
The presenter here delivers his knowledge succinctly. He IS the example of what he is teaching. Thank you for a concise, no extraneous lesson. It is has been immensely helpful.
I agree. People who are comfortable with themselves make others feel comfortable. I don’t believe in this learned confidence it’s just fake. Saying an actor displays confidence could just mean they are good at acting out confidence.
Confidence is not thinking about yourself too much, other than occasionally considering the person you're becoming. Thinking about how happy you are with yourself is a stunting proposition.
Same here. For me, my mind is already far in the next bits of the statement (esp if it's an interesting story im saying) and my mouth is trying to keep up, so my words trip. True story.
This man is arrogant lol he keeps comparing himself to the people around him, checking his gestures and trying to teach himself to do better. Really don’t like him.
confidence can look a billion different ways. really comes down to being comfortable with yourself and having confidence in your whole self mentally and physically, not just mimicking the actions of someone with confidence.
The most awkward behaving people sometimes can be commanding and interesting. While what the video says does apply to a broad category of confident people, those aren't the only characteristics of confidence.

For someone usually timid, anxious and can’t keep eye contact when speaking to someone, this video has taught me that confidence is more about knowledge with whatever you speak about, that it is not so much about forced external confidence (posture, facial expression, tone). You don’t even have to try too hard. I truly wish this video was created and came across it during my formative years. I lacked confidence when I was in elementary and high school, and unfortunately, in college too. I would have been a confident student then and would have performed better.
Would it help you to imagine the quantum world and that what you see as a person is nothing more than a neatly distributed association of molecules that at the very minute scale actually has a lot of empty spaces in there? Definitely better than that old idea of imagine the room empty.

Confidence is really relaxation, and being relaxed in a given situation. Keep in mind how some people who appear confident, can be hucksters and liars and also think they're better than everyone else. Don't automatically believe, confident people always tell the truth. Thank you for writing this. I struggle to understand the point of confidence if it is to be used to hoodwink others to cover one's own inanity or incompetence. But confidence should be for one's own sake and not for others as you mentioned.

Confidence is not a show, because it does not depend on other people’s opinions. So many people fake confidence, but it’s soon exposed as a flimsy facade. True confidence is earned in battles of discomfort, which results in the ability to deal with any situation that’s within your capabilities.

There’s something almost soothing about Mr. Navarro’s easy way of sharing his knowledge with us. I felt empowered in that little time. He should teach a Master Class.
I think it starts with .. being comfortable in your own skin with yourself. I try to treat everyone like they are a family member. Being honest to the point first .. eye contact with a smile. Speaking clearly and with the right tone for the right situations. It's so many things it would take all day explaining it. Everyone recognizes who is and who isn't. Try mirror the ones you have came across. Like he has said video yourself and try it in the mirror. He is right..
A good way to be confident is to simply know wth you are talking about. If you are insecure in the subject matter, then it will convey to your speech and demeanour.
I have ADHD so usually it's hard for me to focus on talks, speeches and so on. But when someone is really good at speaking and confident about what they're saying, I tend to pay more and even full attention. I paid full attention to this video and even remember what I learned after watching only once. This is my 2nd time here! Just to make sure I don't forget :)
The thing is.. why it's hard for some people is because you are telling them how to copy people who are confident. Whereas, ask the confident people, they aren't copying nobody. Being confident is not about doing this or that. It's about the process a person has to go through in order to become totally comfortable with himself and the surroundings.
I remember in audio meetings at some point I was dozzing off and people were asking me a question so I made an excuse about the mic being off or whatnot and I felt not very sharp. Later I saw the same thing happen to someone else and he was just like "sorry I wasn't listening could you repeat the question?". He didn't feel like he needed an excuse for not being able to answer straight away. And people just did as he said, and that was it. And I thought "yeah that's how you should handle those situations" so now I do the same. But not everything is copied/learned. I remember asking myself "why was I sitting like that (one arm behind the back of the chair)? I usually don't do that. It felt good. Yeah I was confident and relaxed. So I guess that pose indicates confidence."
I think the best place to start is the posture, it’s simple and you don’t even have to speak if talking is hard. I had been thinking about my posture more over the last 2-3 months and it’s really started to show. I went to a wedding and a friend I had known over half my life but hadn’t seen in maybe 4 months asked if I got taller or if I changed something about my appearance (other than the suit of course). I’ve always walked with a quick pace, but I’ve noticed more eyes have been following me as I walk around the office too since I straightened up. I don’t puff out my chest, roll my shoulders back, etc., I just stand upright and it feels better on my back
This is happening to me too. I mean, not exactly like you but I’ve become very aware of my posture and I’m determined to improve it because I find it has all to do with my insecurities and lack of confidence.
The Upright posture trainer is worth the cost - it has quickly helped my posture, awareness and even mindfulness bc it ‘jolts’ me into the present moment…😂 ✨👌🏻

I had an epiphany after having to do some presentations and being very nervous about it. When I mentioned it to my supervisor afterwards, she was surprised, she and others told me they couldn't tell that I was nervous. Body language is everything. Learn to move in a confident manner and you will come across as confident. Then others will respond positively to you and it will make you actually more confident. There's a positive feedback loop here.

i have been asked all my life how am i so confident. i told them in the past and i tell them still... "i am not confident... i just don't doubt myself". there IS a difference. if i fail i learn. it is that simple. i am not always right... i am not always wrong but i am always advancing. 'confidence' is for those that wish to lie to themselves. you came into this life alone and you will leave this life alone so why worry about how others perceive you? it all lies in how you perceive yourself. start by not lying to yourself and know that even if you fail you succeed. "experience is what you get when you don't get what you want" cheers and may God bless
I will watch this video every morning to put it deeply in my head. This is some life changing information. The statement “People are not born confident…” alone just gave me so much confidence.

I find the great thing about body language and how it makes life easier is that if you project or use your body language in a way that LOOKS confident, you also FEEL confident. Body language is therefore one of the most effective ways to overcome social anxiety, especially on the spot.
The best thing you can do, is to know who you are as a person. Before, I had also anxiety walking into a room or a bar, but now I know myself and I don't try to be anybody else, it gives me the "I don't care what people may think about me" confidence, non of the situations I may find my self, or some opinions can change me who I am and this way I'm very relaxed
I'm a way, I feel If acted the way in th video I would actually seem less confident. It doesn't feel authentic. I just want to be myself and be accepted for that even if it isn't seen as confident or cool.
«Uptalk» sounds like how we Norwegians talk naturally and politely. We have a different and more varied melody to our language that I know can throw English speakers off. So a confident manner of speaking also depends on your language and your audience’s background.
I've heard it and I think that's just a natural part of the Norwegian language. I once watched a Norwegian TV show and was really surprised when I noticed this feature of the language as I'd never seen anything like that before in other languages. Each will have their own very interesting and unique quirks. The uptalk isn't intrinsic to the English language, but rather an individual feature of some people's speech which is why he can talk about it like that when referring to English speakers.
@@Ouchiness why? Uptalk frames everything the speaker says as a question and signals that they are unsure of either themselves or the subject matter, I’m not trying to be rude I’m genuinely curious bc i have a tendency to uptalk, and find it to be a rather disagreeable tendency

Bottom line is, if you are not confident, you can't show people that you are. But if you are confident enough to act as one, people will buy your fake confidence.
@@nadia4985 but don’t you have to have confidence to act confident? Like you might not be confident at one thing like lets say public speaking, but you compensate that by ‘acting’ confident. You still need to be confident enough so you can act it.
If you’re not confident, your confidence will likely show off as arrogance to disguise it. But if you are confident, your confidence will speak for itself and people will feel it.
I don’t think it’s all about confidence. It’s partially how they convince themselves they are accepted and loved by others. Or they are convinced to be careless about other people think.
yeah of course, it's about charisma too. if someone creepy is confident that's just scary, but if someone has charisma (usually good looks, perhaps nice voice, high status, etc.) they'll be perceived way better
You don't need to convince yourself when you know you are indeed accepted by others. You also don't need to not care about what others think. You can care but be unaffected.
I struggle with crowds as most do. I found that personal confidence happens when you know the subject like the back of your hand prior to stepping out. When someone that repeats themselves and/or uses a number of filler words (um, uh, etc) I question myself on whether or not that individual knows what they are talking about. Enjoyed the video 😊
So because someone says “uh”, they are inferior? What a crappy mindset and judgment that we have these days. “Be prideful and full of yourself” is what I see and it creates more selfishness than anything.
I grew up fearing public speaking, but eventually, I had to give speeches to many people in various cities. The feedback I received was incredible-comments like 'memorable night' or, during an interview recording, 'professional.' For me, it feels surreal. However, as said, the key lies in knowing everything: what and how you’ll talk about it, the gestures, and finding space for originality.
To avoid uptalk as an Aussie is extremely hard as that is just our accent. Yet there is no lack of “confident” Australians. That’s the only thing I can pick wrong with this video.
Another thing I would say is that uptalk is typically used by women, which just didn't really sit right with me that it's bad or unprofessional to use- simply because it's a female associated trait (whether or not people realise but this is definitely why)
Aussie F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo uptalks a lot, yet he drinks out of a shoe in public every time he gets a podium. If that's not confidence, I don't know what is.

If you're still nervous in front a class, ask them a question and that will give you a few seconds to recon 5. Be punctual and the students will respect you more and in turn, that will make you more confident.

There are 2 things , one being genuinely confident inside , and second how one shows to outside world their confidence thru body language .
Well said.

I get nervous just to talk to three people 😭
@@psychobillynumbnuts1 Don't talk directly to the three people you pick.
Well put.

Thank you for this great video. My key takeaways are:
1. Show that you are in command and in control. For example, make eye contacts with others. Talk to convey your message instead of convincing others by saying the same thing in different ways or over-explaining yourself. Take your time to say it and answer the questions. Do not show any quick motion like you are in a hurry. Sit comfortably and own the space
2. Ask yourself how you want to be perceived and what should you do to make it happen. Imitate someone who you think is confident
2. You can build and nurture your confidence. Practice. Practice. Practice
I like #1. Show that you are in command and in control. Convey don’t convince and over explain. Do not show any quick motion like you are in a hurry. Sit comfortably and own your space.
Confidence isn’t “I know they’ll like me”, it’s “I’m okay if they don’t”.
It's also,

Pingu Nootson@ Thats not good wtf lol, by saying that you can excuse a lot of your own behavior, that is not "good confidence".
This is something a spiteful person would say when they sit and dwell on negative experiences.
Check yourself.
I think "fake it till you make it" is really important when it comes to confidence. You need to practice it in order for it to start coming naturally. Appearing confident, even when you don't feel confident, I believe, can prevent confrontation or becoming a victim (in some circumstances).
As a performer, I can vouch for this! First you have to learn how to LOOK confident onstage, and then with time and experience, you gradually develop true confidence.
mf using that to post only fans content
As a member of a minority group, I can confirm this!

For someone usually timid, anxious and can’t keep eye contact when speaking to someone, this video has taught me that confidence is more about knowledge with whatever you speak about, that it is not so much about forced external confidence (posture, facial expression, tone). i always let people know that giving a speech or presentation is nothing more than informatiion sharing or teaching others what u know. it makes me feel useful n gets me into that "cant wait to educate others" mood so nothing to fear

I feel most confident In public when I feel I look my best. Sometimes we cannot control the way we look so do YOUR best and feel comfortable in YOUR skin. Also when you have a good team of people around you (i.e friends) it’s a lot easier to feel mor comfortable, more CONFIDENT.

Not necessarily true, i sale enough bullcrap to know if you confidence enough you can talk about anything.
I'm pretty sure the best bullshitters are the most confident people you'll ever meet.
@@MsSphinx91 because they are experts in speech, not the subject they are talking about. That gives them the confidence.

👏🏾
👍🏽💯
He's showing us, not instructing us to copy.
Confidence is projected when you have genuine self-esteem.
This guy is pretty good, seems very confident about this subject
He’s an ex FBI agent.
I mean, not exactly like you but I’ve become very aware of my posture and I’m determined to improve it because I find it has all to do with my insecurities and lack of confidence.
true. Yoga helped me with that, I recommend it!
Wow man I will try that
Indeed. Yoga has helped me to keep my back straighter, also has improved my mindset to care less about others think about me
The Upright posture trainer is worth the cost - it has quickly helped my posture, awareness and even mindfulness bc it ‘jolts’ me into the present moment…😂 ✨👌🏻
This was greatly needed. Feels like since COVID first struck I’ve forgotten how to interact with people in public

I am not here to convince I am here to convey! That line got me and really resonated with me. Thank you this is an excellent video.
You will heal, recover, and relive life again in a new happy joyful body…

i have been asked all my life how am i so confident. i told them in the past and i tell them still...

That's amazing. I don't think I've ever been told that in my entire life. I literally can't think of a single instance. I can think of many many times when I was told that I need more confidence though :/ I try so hard to develop confidence but it's so difficult when you have social anxiety.
Confidence should not be equated to arrogance.
Shyness should not be equated to humility. 🙂

0:58 One: Traits of confident people
- Posture, the way we present, how we look, where our chin is, where the eyes are looking and gazing
- Our gestures are loose but smoother
3:12 Two: Modeling confidence
People that look around are more confident. More experienced, knowledgeable
Have command of themselves
If you're in charge, you're in charge of time
Real confidence is all about not letting others words ruin our inner peace....

"my pet peeve is uptalk"
Australians: "and we took that personally"
AS A LINGUIST I LOVE UPTALK
And we took that personally??
Or californians
You will hear this a lot in southeastern U.S.
«Uptalk» sounds like how we Norwegians talk naturally and politely. We have a different and more varied melody to our language that I know can throw English speakers off. So a confident manner of speaking also depends on your language and your audience’s background.
Many countries are like that. I think he must be just talking about America
Yea makes me really angry when ppl start saying stupid things about uptalk, i love uptalk.
@@Ouchiness why? Uptalk frames everything the speaker says as a question and signals that they are unsure of either themselves or the subject matter, I’m not trying to be rude I’m genuinely curious bc i have a tendency to uptalk, and find it to be a rather disagreeable tendency
Australians are the first people that came to mind when he said that lol

Facts. It’s also a mindset thing. If u respect yourself to the fullest that energy shines outward on other people, u get a different hand dealt with in life👊🏻
Bottom line is, if you are not confident, you can't show people that you are.
But if you are confident enough to act as one, people will buy your fake confidence.
Theres a reason why the phrase "fake it till you make it" exists
No, I won't. In a matter of fact I would respect more sincere authentic person who is nervous than someone who is faking something. Anything.
@@nadia4985 but don’t you have to have confidence to act confident? Like you might not be confident at one thing like lets say public speaking, but you compensate that by ‘acting’ confident. You still need to be confident enough so you can act it.
@@oRizho Who do you view as confident? Copy them and that same energy will transfer to you temporarily and eventually permanently.
A friend told me to imagine the audience as just a bunch of carrots and cabbages when doing public speaking, helps with anxiety
You just explained confidence.
Brilliantly said
You don't need to convince yourself when you know you are indeed accepted by others.
@@SolidPain6624 i see both sides to this, but theres no denying that a lot of ums and ahs in a speech does not portray confidence or passion

Here are some things that really helped me and hopefully might help you too: 1. Be very thoroughly prepared 2. Do not dissociate. Focus on the present and what's happening 3. Breathe 4. If you're still nervous in front a class, ask them a question and that will give you a few seconds to recon 5. Be punctual and the students will respect you more and in turn, that will make you more confident.

There are 2 things , one being genuinely confident inside , and second how one shows to outside world their confidence thru body language . Personal opinion fake confidence or presenting to show something you are not will eventually reveal itself . Try first be confident on the inside then show it off . TIP - improve your knowledge or skill needed to show the confidence .
What do you mean “fake confidence “ 😂😂😂. Courage - like my “Thalaivar said “ is how well one learns to hide fear. So it’s all an act to start with my friend 😊
