They say you should sleep with a pillow under your knees when laying on your back to maintain good back posture. I have posture problems so i use the pillow tip sometimes.

I have been sleeping on my back for 1 year with a Purple Pillow and a silk pillowcase. I love it, it’s the 10 lb. hyper polymer type. What’s really great is the pillow draws heat away from my head. I am a hot sleeper and now no more sweaty head. I recently got a Japanese Ice Silk pillowcase, it’s made of nylon and helps keep my hair smooth. Also I sleep with the head of the bed elevated which helps my sinuses and I do not wake up with puffy eyes. I have been making progress with my insomnia so I am not giving up.

It's true about putting a cushion underneath your knees... this does make sleeping on your backside more comfortable. Without it my legs feel rather restless and not "right." It better helps position your body and prevents tossing and turning so much. You make a lot of sense doctor... great tips!

I used to hate sleeping on my back. Now my bed is "propped up" at the bottom and top 30% (hospital bed). It is amazing. The bottom is for leg issues, but just elevating your head makes the world of a difference for back sleeping! It is so much more comfortable with that much elevation. I tend to fall asleep on my left side, but more to the morning, I might switch over to my back.

Ive trained myself to sleep on my back, took about a year to really NAIL it, the trick is to catch yourself when you get the urge to lay sideways and resist resist resist. It will feel like you won’t be able to sleep, but you will as long as the rest of your body is comfortable, you don’t look at your phone (looking at your phone will ruin nuke your melatonin and then you REALLY can’t sleep), just keep your eyes closed and focus on your breathing. I eventually fall asleep. I’ve also tried guided sleep meditation videos on TH-cam and those have helped, just find a video with a voice you find calming and enjoy. I wish I could get 8 hours of sleep, I usually just get 5-6 hours. I’m trying so hard. :(

As long as your face isn’t “smushed” against pillow case you will minimize wrinkles quite a bit. No need to buy such an expensive pillow (unless of course you want to). I tried the pillow and didn’t like it at all. One reason is that you have to position yourself on the pillow and as soon as you turn in the night, you have to wake up enough to correctly reposition yourself or the pillow just doesn’t work. And you can’t sleep on it without being in the correct position or you will be very uncomfortable. The pillow is also very firm and it has to be in order to hold your head up. Too firm for me. I returned it.

I only use water to wash my face and then I use some moisturiser. I can not use face wash products or anything bc it makes me break out sooo much. I have tried so many. And trust me- washing for face morning and nights with ONLY water, gets rid of pimples and some wrinkles!

Was surprised at this video. Had felt the Dr. looked out for our wallets. There has to be other pillows more affordable. Loss of sleep usually for me is from drinking tea late in the day which has caffeine, and/or being stressed out.

Vaseline is my best friend for chest wrinkles do your nightime skincare routine moisturize then put a nice coating of vaseline on and you will be a bit greasy but I would rather not have chest wrinkles and be greasy while I sleep LOL.... At 60 I have no chest wrinkles:*)

I’ve really been enjoying your videos and skin care tips. Just wanted to comment on your advice about drinking (or not drinking) alcohol. You made me laugh with the difference between a dermatologist’s perspective and mine (psychiatry). From now on I will share your “drink responsibly” tips with my patients and see if that gets me better results - I have a feeling that it will! Thanks!

I had to get an operation on my nose for sleep apnoea and I have slept on my back for many years as a result. Yes it leads to more sleep paralysis episodes but, I dont get as many as I used to and if I do, those are usually the occasions that I feel cold and scared afterwards and therefore adopt the foetal position. But mostly I go to sleep on my back and wake up on my back (I never got sleep paralysis after I fell asleep, its usually before I go to sleep when it happens and thats when I will curl up on my side afterwards. My cat sleeps with me and I think having cats and dogs in bed with me prevents sleep paralysis much more than other people in bed with you.

Dr dray has a video on crow's feet and other anti-aging videos. There are retinol eye creams. There are also people who do use it but they do the "sandwich" method, apply moisturizer and let it dry, apply retinol product and let it dry, then apply moisturizer on top.

Dr Dray! Can you PLEASE cover Keratin Plugs?! I watched your video on Keratosis Pilaris, sebaceous filaments, and closed comedones but I'm still having trouble figuring out how to treat what I believe are keratin plugs (small hard rice-like extractions and visibly bumpy skin)... of course, I have whiteheads that are similar but not as hard and other types of acne as well. I'm following all your tips and watching soo many videos. I'm so glad I found your channel! Thank you!!
