They make this stuff called nitrous that helps with that. While everyone else is worried about if the turbos will light, Me being a tuner, let’s just hope josh can keep the rods here on earth. Dialing in the boost with this set up will be more difficult. But the end results will be cool to see.

Why not a compound turbo setup? Less lag and the compression is multiplied.
Because I've wanted to try this for so long. I'd go with a big single turbo over a compound setup all day long.

If it were me building a twin turbo EJ I would definitely go with smaller turbos due to turbo lag. Either way you will find out what the weak links are when it is all said and done, good luck with the build.

Might want to think about a destroked ej from IAG. Higher revs would help a lot considering you’re running 2 massive turbos on 2 cylinders each.
I build all of my own engines in house. We'll more than likely be revving this one out past 10K with the twins!

at 18:34 you were trying to explain what is called a venturi (bernoulli's principle of fluid flow) . its pretty neat, same way how a carburetor works.

My Sti has a turbo that size & it don’t start spooling until 2500rpm and hits full boost at 5500k rmp. Insane amount of turbo lag only at 25lbs. Wondering if just 2 cylinders can even get this turbo going, nitrous is going to be your friend but I’m worried all that boost is going to start lifting heads…
Gonna take about 10 minutes to spool up. But when it does,hang on. Good way to bring in the 4th.

Looking forward to seeing this. lol you beat me to it since I’m doing my twins on the truck first. 6466 1.05 on the truck and I have 6466 .84 for the car. Now that they have the mirrors I need to change the car again. I’m still concerned you won’t have enough fuel to run them but that’s a challenge for your tuner 😂😂

I’ve always wanted to know how much a stock sti 6 speed can handle. We’re gonna find out with this one.
I think Bader was pushing a stock one at 800hp for a long time before it started to slip. Not 100% sure

I wonder if the only way to really do this is to quad dual compound turbos. Tiny turbos to spool giant turbos.
