      Not trying to be mean but you replaced all of those sensors etc, like $1500 in parts for a single injector that mechanically malfunctioned, that cylinder was basically dead which is why you lost all of that power. A $30 Noid light kit & data for that cylinder had to have shown current/history DTC's for a misfire, the spark plug would have shown it was lean as well.. that's why the exhaust sounded off. This is why people should let trained mechanics do their job. You're obviously automotive savvy and knowledgeable so that really surprised me. It's hard for me to comprehend someone dumping $20,000+ into a 3v for 400hp, you can buy a 1000hp big block for half that cost, but I respect you chasing your dream.

      They were quick for a non cobra 4.6 but still got bested by the older 98-02 fbodies with the LS1 motor. A car out of production for 3 years when it came out. And the LS1 is way cheaper and easier to install upgrades and bump up the HP.
      I've owned 2 Sn95 Mustangs equipped with the power improvement 2v 4.6 so I'm not a GM purist, but this engine needed mods to keep up with older cars.

      Also needs to be noted that the engine was set to work in a number of different applications - performance, reliability, heavy load applications etc. It's been voted one of the most reliable engines that ford has ever made.

I used to like big American cars with big engines. However, after owning a second generation rotary powered RX7 with a 5 speed manual transmission, my favorite car to own is a Japanese 2600 Lb sports car with a rotary engine, manual transmission, 50/50 weight distribution and a hatchback for practicality. I admire your car and ingenuity. But it is amazing how much fun I had with the RX7. I want another one. To each, his own.

    • @kuchenblechmafiagmbh1381
      @kuchenblechmafiagmbh1381 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      IMHO The Front is a good resemblence to the original, but it's too clumsy, these Halogen Headlights with large reflectors look too old-fashioned, yes, they hadn't Xenon HID headlights for the Mustang back then, but also a bunch of other cars like The Audi A4 B6, the first gen A5, the Mercedes W211, W204, Volkswagen Passat B5 GP/B6, Touran GP and several BMWs like the 5 series E39 had projection headlights with halogen lamps that looked very similar to the optional Xenon headlights (almost every car uses such projection headlights, AFAIK just the Volvo V70 used Xenon with a reflector).
      And also the turn indicators, not sure about the regulations, but you might use a clear cover and also an amber bulb that is silver-plated, so it just shines amber when in use; in Germany we call this "Spiegelei-Effekt" (meaning it looks like a fried egg) and it especially affected the Porsche Boxster 986/911 996 where they combines the turn indicators with the main headlights that were always separated in the previous 911 generations.
      And I know that for a lot of cars like my A1 even the manufacturer itself offered two more styles of LED rear lights, the normal is red with a white lower section for turn indicator, reverse light and fog rear light, Audi also offered these dark tinted and full red tinted, Porsche does similar, the 997.2 had the option (it was default for the Sport Classic and Speedster) to mostly white rear lights (except the reflector).

    Honestly, even though the Viper is my favourite car and the reason I got into your channel, your Mustang videos are equally as rewatchable!

    This was a very well documented video that showed what a step by step upgrade can do for the 4.6 Mustangs. I was very impressed with the way you put it all together and look forward to watching any future videos regarding such builds.

    Love to see these updates. You do such an awesome job of going over every detail, that’s what keeps me watching! That Mustang was one of my dream cars back when I got my drivers license, so cool to see you building yours to such an extreme level! Great content as always, much love from Texas!

    Although I’m not a mustang guy, this man’s videos are so neatly organized and explained, it really sells this channel for me 👏🏻
