Do you hunt for LSA's, and if so do you ever find Mossers with white Moss or a lot of white specks? I have a piece of one that does, and another near intact nodule that has a lot of that same white speckling that makes the edges almost look like jasper. Just wondering.

Dude hunts in an area that produces a LOT of Moss and Plume Agates. In fact one of those is my fav from this video. Good job cutting all of them. Also he must hunt a gravel pit, unless he's been saving some of those nods for the right time.

this has been great post.....the stones, for the most part, were phenomenal....What I want to ask is ....how long did it take to cut he stones because I realize this is speeded up and I notice "prune-y" finger tips....lol

When I was really young, my grandfather, a professor at UMD, used to take me agate hunting on the rock beach of Lake Superior. He had dozens of kegs of the stones that we had cut for jewelry. This video takes me back to the lapadiary studio of the jewelry maker and my lawyer father's rock tumbling set-up that the family became entranced by over time. We all became interested and involved in the agates in one way or another, and this really took me back. I will continue to watch to refresh my memory about types and cuts. THANK YOU for the beginning of a new set of memories. Elaynne 10:39

My hubby said the last one you cut looked like a skull (he thought you were doing a Halloween theme with all the orange nodules) and when you open it up he said "Definitely a skull as you can see all the beautiful grey matter inside!"

Am new to this channel. I have 2 questions. 1. How do you know which side to cut - do you choose the longest side? 2. Is there a X ray technology through which you can see the inside of the rock before cutting, so you can cut the way that exposes the best of inside.

That is the magic of rocks , you never know what you get. I am always amazed at the outside can be brilliant and the the inside is solid. The next to last one looked like a nebula.
