"I agree!" There the best! "Beautiful specimens!" I've collected agates since Granny walked me down the cabin road looking for agates and I think I was about 4 then! Am 68 now. Have a small collection but would have loved to find many large ones like you have there! Thanks for the video, cutting the Great lake Superior agates! Nice job! 👍🙂
My son, and I just started rock hounding spring of last year, and we have a found some beautiful agates, quarts, red, jasper, and many other kinds of rocks. I really love watching your videos. They’re very encouraging and also educational my son bought a dual drum rock Tumblr and has turned out some beautiful, polished agates, and some bingamutes and we got him a wet saw for Christmas, so your videos are very encouraging on how to cut the rocks and protection, and all of that good stuff. Thank you very much and congratulations on being a father! Enjoy every moment of it because they grow up so quick mine are 19 and 21. Blessings Chris
Your reactions and your love of rocks and all things agate bands, is just contagious! Your amazement with everyone is just awesome. Even the not so great ones are shown love by you! You are like a kid in a candy store, around agates! I love it! They were all amazing! And it was so nice of you to offer to polish that one that chipped off that piece. They arent even your rocks and you are wanting to make sure its flattened out ok! Your awesome Taylor!
I lived in Minnesota for 11 years but moved away a couple of decades ago. I collected a lot of agates while I was there. I have a bag of them. I should send them to you! Love these videos. Have been obsessed with rocks since I was a kid but esp agates. Thanks for posting them!
When I cannot sleep at night I look at your videos to feel happy. So much fun to cut those ugly stones and then beauty appears. Great stuff, many thanks from EU
From the first to the last, they were all amazing. Great cuts and as I always say... "cut, cut, cut!". Thanks fornshating some amazing reveals. Be happy, safe and stay healthy 😷⚒
Wow! Some real stunners in this batch! Those are all going to look amazing polished especially the one that broke. Yeah it sucks but the fracture was already there. At least now the piece will be smaller and curved but it'll be near flawless, it's going to look amazing! The nodules are definitely exciting I have been looking for more myself... Only a matter of time before I cut open one that's super cool inside! There's less mystery to the Missouri lace agate but there's always interesting details revealed when you cut it. Cuts made perpendicular or even better oblique to the banding generally produces the most interesting patterns. Rock on Taylor!
I'm here to say they are gorgeous agates. I wish I had the equipment and go to these places to find them. I'm in the right idea for a business venture but no funds or job to back . But I love to watch how exciting this is. 😊
Love the way you choose the direction to cut and how they came out. Motivates me to go out looking for these beauties, I’m in Grand Marais, and often go out looking for the “youperlites” at night, but not much daytime hunting. That may have to change. Thanks
OMG that was a great cutting video. I won’t say they were all studs but, none of them were duds. Those were all money stones in size and in quantity. Right on Taylor for those cuts, and right on Daniel for the stones.😎😎
Hi, WOW!!! I loved each and everyone of those agates!!! I couldn't pick a favorite if my life depended on it, lol. What I loved the most is the different designs I hadn't noticed in other agates, like the 'pointy' centers and just the odd shapes for the center. WOW!!! I always love your reactions too!!! Don't hold back on us, just make your feelings known for sure!!! So wonderful, lol. Great job!!! Thanks for sharing with us!!! Take care. 😃
Absolutely incredible. I have a gem I need to cut but I only have tha Hi-tech diamond 4"-5" trim saw I purchased with extra blades, using your promo code. I use it for smaller agates. Could use some recommendations for cutters in the MN- WI area.
When working in a colder environment I’ll use hot water to start out with and figure it’s no problem if the rocks aren’t too cold. Can add hot water as it cools if needed.
I grew up in the middle of Illinois and I read about Lake Superior agates when I was quite young… kept hoping that a few had made it that far south and I’d search landscaping gravel for them, without luck.
Hey Agate Dad, I love to watch your show. It’s very exciting to see the beautiful patterns when you open it up after you cut the rock. But I think you need a better cutting machine, so that you will not ruin any more wonderful rocks
Those are beautiful Agates! The bands & colors just pop out! I used to live in Michigan but it's been quite a bit of years. Wish I still lived there to get me some... Here in Utah we have lots of beautiful Agates out here too but I still think Great lake Agate rocks & other rocks are the best! Keep up the great work!
Great content! I want to start cutting soon so I started watching your videos. I’d suggest using Starbond thin glue for those cracks. I use it with wood a lot and it works well. It can be polished too.
Love seeing these revealed. I have cut some buy always wonder how to decide which direction to go. Any suggestions? I love rock hounding no matter what I pick up, but would love to find some really beautiful agates. Next summer, back up to Lake Superior. Thanks for these beauties!
Wow, they we're beautiful. I'm in California right now, visiting from the Netherlands. They have cool agates here as well. Got a lot of polished ones yesterday and today, can't get enough of them☺️
Awesome agates! What kind of blade do you use to cut them? I have a 10" wet tile saw but the blades I've been using aren't that great for cutting.. takes too long. Looking for recommendations! Thanks!
Really Cool Stuff !! Especially because I'm from Michigan !! So I see in some of your videos you were cutting by pulling the rocks to you and in this video your pushing. What do you prefer and what gives you a better result ?
Thanks for watching! Hope you all have a great day!
like your channel , but I don 't understand why you don 't add an additional water source so that your agates are whole ?
te quiero mostrar mi coleccion hermano
Essa pedra é uma ostra do período cretáceo

Your agates kind of proved the reverse of the the old saying, beauty is skin-deep but ugly goes to the Bone. Gnarly exterior, gorgeous interior.
Thanks!
☺️ thanks so much for the Super thanks!!
At 10:50 it looks like a ballerina.....2 legs and with her arms above her head. Gorgeous !!!!

It’s so fun 😅
That last one you did of the 3 you didn't have high hopes for, looks like the iris of an eyeball. Really cool

The one at 10:00 is GORGEOUS. Agates have always been my favorite because you never quite know what you are going to get. 🤩
So mezmerizing I've watched five of your posts. You have a great read on all the stones you cut
Love the way you choose the direction to cut and how they came out. Motivates me to go out looking for these beauties, I’m in Grand Marais, and often go out looking for the “youperlites” at night, but not much daytime hunting. That may have to change. Thanks

Man, that was a whole batch of awesome!
Awesome agates! What kind of blade do you use to cut them? I have a 10" wet tile saw but the blades I've been using aren't that great for cutting.. takes too long. Looking for recommendations! Thanks!
Thanks 😀 😊
I like your videos. You think before you cut your rocks. Most of these others don't cut as beautiful as you.
Wow! So beautiful!
🙌☺️
😮❤ stunning beauties amazing congratulations 🎊 beautiful 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤😂😂😂
Those dark agates are a reflection of the Lake Superior history dark and foreboding
Камни смотрят на тебя сквозь миллиарды лет и дарят тебе красоту.
Todas muy muy bonitas, las dos últimas son geniales.
Really Cool Stuff !! Especially because I'm from Michigan !! So I see in some of your videos you were cutting by pulling the rocks to you and in this video your pushing. What do you prefer and what gives you a better result ?
Most of them I am pushing and that’s because of the kind of saw and water spray direction.
Those are some great agates!!
The one you cut down the middle, second to last would make good slabs
Hey there! Any advice on how to choose the location and orientation of your cuts on these? Some really beautiful results here!
WOW, WOW, WOW
😎🙌
After cutting the small stone we look like Ring Road model
